Arrived at 11pm from Gatwick airport. On arrival I was given a room, got in and it looked like someone had just left - not cleaned. I then went back to reception, but it was closed, I called the phone and no answer and I had to hunt down someone who worked there. They then said that they will 'upgrade' me and gave me another room . Again this wasn't cleaned, the cup still has coffee in, vapes were on the side of the bed and blood on the duvet, the toilet hadn't even been flushed. So had to repeat again to find someone. Finally got a room that was ready at midnight.

We enjoyed our stay at Trivelles Gatwick. The English breakfasts were very good and staff are friendly. There is no daily room cleaning provided, which was unexpected. We left our garbage in the hall for pickup but no one came by for 24 hours so we brought it back into our room. The front desk is manned intermittently, but not an issue for a longer stay. I would stay there again as it's overall good value.

Bed was comfortable however the hotel is extremely noisy. If any guests move upstairs or in the hallways then you’ll likely be woken up. The beds were clean but the room was quite dirty and smelly. It is however very close to Gatwick airport so if all you need is a base before flying then location couldn’t be better.

Food was ok, but we not fully what we had booked online in terms of food. The continental breakfast was was bad as we no options apart from bread and yoghurt. We had to order our hot breakfast the night before but in the morning, the chef was not clear on what we wanted. The room was clean but dusty. Online we thought we had a king bed but were given a small double so it was cramped. I don't think i would go back to this hotel. Reception was not 24 hours. Staff were kind but on their phones or having their own chats. This is more like a 2.5 star hotel.

Don’t eat the breakfast and bring some cleaning stuff, very basic cleaning if any, dirty towels, cobwebs that have been there a very long while, breakfast was very unorganised ( can’t blame the chef), staff on site were very very inexperienced and didn’t have a clue. The only good thing is the vending machine. God forbid something happens at night no one is around to help you.

I had a room without window! I checked out in 2 hours... i leave the hotel because bad condition even in the reception. Room G18 havrethe door as window but was locked and many spiders in the room!

Got a sad experience there ,the room was in a bad state the wooden floor were damaged, kettle wasn’t even working and had moisture in it , despite we inform the reception about the issues as it was hot and we needed a fan no assistance had been provided , they made us wait till midnight as we expected the fan at least but still nothing.

For the cost and considering it was a Saturday it was excellent. The room itself could have had a fresh lick of white paint, the shower had lots of mould and smelt a little, although that a side the shower was nice. Defo a re-do of bathroom, beds were not comfortable noisy, very springy but at £60 you get what you pay for.

Had to ask for kettle, milks, fan and an extra set of towels as only one set was left For two people. Don't think he bedding had been changed, when I pulled back the quilt the bed was full of some sort of grit. Cobwebs on the ceiling, shower cubicle had Not been cleaned. Receptionist blamed it all on the quick turned around from checkout time to new customers arriving. Suggest they get More staff then. Place very rundown and tatty

My flight had been delayed, and I didn’t arrive until very early in the morning. The staff was still extremely friendly and gave me my room key and information, and the hotel was affordable, comfortable, and close to the airport.

This property is not as pictured. It looks derelict with broken furniture and window. It looks abandoned so I would not even venture in. I did not feel safe at all and had to find an alternative hotel. The building looks like it’s going to fall down. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are weeds and damage everywhere. You arrive at the back of the building after going down a long unkept road. There’s nothing positive I can say.

Fairly basic accommodation. Bed was comfortable. I asked the reception guy to help with a loud hum from a fuse box and whether I could change rooms. He offered to look for another room, told me to wait, never came back and when I went to look for him he'd gone off shift and reception was closed. Not a great service - even just saying 'no' would have been better.

Great for a one night stay, close to Purple Parking for the airport. The double bed was not very big but was comfortable. The room looked neat and tidy but the cleaning left a bit to be desired especially the mirrors, which must have been wiped with a very dirty cloth. The bathroom was good with a nice shower cubicle. The room had tea/coffee, iron and ironing board and a safe. The great location of the hotel means that we would visit again in the future.

This is an ideal place if you’re looking to stay close to Gatwick for a reasonable price. However, you won’t get a great sleep. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone. It’s a very old room, there was water damage to the ceiling which hasn’t been repaired, the toilet was wobbly and the shower could do with a good clean! The man on reception was really helpful and kind :)

The road into the hotel has pot holes so deep the car grounded. We had to wait to be let in because the dpprs were locked at 9.45pm, despite the sign on the door saying reception is open until 10pm. Our room was dated and nothing worked. There were crisps on the floor when we arrived. The bed was not a double as booked. The bathroom door didnt lock.

This hotel is a dump and should be closed down absolutely horrible. Mold, Damp, Stains every where. I slept on top of the bed didn’t dare get inside. Silverfish all in bath room. Avoid at all cost. If your lucky to get your car in and out the car park with out any damage it’s a miracle craters all down the path to the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel many times and every review I leave states the same thing, YOU NEED TO GET THE APPROACH ROAD REPAIRED!!! This must be the worst potholed road in the whole south of the country, three times I bottomed out my car probably causing as yet unseen damage, and many other cars were seen having the same issues! GET IT FIXED!!

Word of warning, the road leading up to the hotel is in a very severe state of disrepair. Anybody who has a vehicle incapable of dealing with potholes approx 18 inches deep, 36 inches round and bumps at 10 inches high should find alternative accommodation. This is in no way to say that the accommodation isn’t good enough for what it is advertised as.

Awful country lane leading to property which has caused damage to underside of car (deep holes in road). Tired property-stains on carpets-light switches not working-awful soundproofing-tiny shower towel-smell coming from shower-weak shower-just old and tired.
