No repetiría
3.8

Uncomfortable beds, escalators not working

The rooms were very clean, the staff was nice, the location is facing the mediterranean sea, which is great (with a big but...), the interior has been redone recently with simple but functional furniture, ours was a family double room, both rooms were climatized and the AC worked perfectly, which was lifesaving. Both rooms had a TV even though ours didnt work, I personally didnt mind it at all. When I booked, I didnt remember it saying breakfast included, but it was, which was a great plus, very simple selection but everything was pretty tasty. The elevator, while we were there worked ok with a few hickups here and there, we didnt get stranded so I'll call that a win. Thanks for a great night.
The biggest downside to this hotel in my opinion is not their fault at all, some brilliant urban planner decided that the best place to install the metro line is right in front of the mediterranean sea, which is great for your daily comute, pretty bad for absolutely everyone and everything else... I dunno, maybe I'm the dumb one but I cant figure this one out, you will hear the occasional train pasaing by but it's not that bad. Oh, and the hotel had a car park right next to it but bear in mind that it costs 12,50€ for 24h.

The property is exceptionally clean, located a walking distance from a beautiful beach and a train station on the main line towards the city, also a walking distance from shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

Friendly and helpful staff
Elevator didn’t most of my stay

Staff were great and helpful
Location was far from the city, and also the photos does not march the room, which I believe it’s booking.com’s fault

Room was generally clean, breakfast was good value for money
There was a bad smell in the bathroom. Although generally a nice place, more than 220€/day for a two bed room is really high considering the standard of the hotel

clean and close by trani stadion. staff was very nice and breakfast were all you need to start sunny day.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is located just by the sea with easy connection to larger towns as Barcelona or Mataró. The area is very calm despite the traffic from the road and with some small restaurants and quaint buildings.
The window from my room did not really close 100% so it did not isolate the noise from the road. The bed had wheels so tit wasn't the most stable. The variety for breakfast is rather little, but decent.

la cama era durísima, horrible descanso

Location
Nothing special to mention

The hotel is just near to sea, it is great to hear sound of sea in the evening, although there is also a road just in the fron of hotel. But this is OK, as this is normal at Costa brava, that train lines arround with the road is between sea and villages. It is also near to the train station, so you can be quickly at the station to take train to Barcelona.
Room is equiped just very simple, literally really simple. It is OK just to come and sleep there. I had to deal with a humidity in the room and in the bathroom, I mean it was OK after I opened the balcony doors and fresh air came to the room. But after I came from the wholeday trip next day, there was again some kind of humidity smell in the room and in the bathroom. This made some uncomfort to me.

a bit to noisy coming from the street and from adjacent rooms.

close to the station
door not opening. outside view. old blankets

Location is perfect only 4 minutes from train station and ~30 minutes from Barcelona by local train, that intersects with Barcelona metro. Beach 3 minutes via tunnel under the road and train tracks, but from 4th floor suite with the HUGE terace we did barely notice those. Aircon worked, room was clean.
I'm a big (fat) guy and room was on the 4th floor + elevator wasnt working, so that did not made me happy - but we managed.
Bed was somewhat soft for my taste.
Breakfast wasn't worth the price paid, but still OK not to go hungry.

it was well situated: near the train station and near the beach that’s not usually busy which is a plus. Personal was very nice. Air conditioning was working well. That’s all.
Bed was horrible. it’s an old bed with a poor mattress that makes noice when one is turning during the sleep. it’s impossible to sleep well on it. Linen is dirty or just so old that strains never wash out. There is no « no disturb » card to hang on the door, so if you want to have a sleep during the day, be ready to be woken up by cleaning lady. Finally, the so-called « hotel » needs renovation. In our room we had ugly, damaged ceiling, as if someone from above had a flood and ever since it stayed there the same.
In the end, it was so extremely overpriced that if I knew in advance all of this and I had a choice I’d rather sleep on the beach lol.
