Had a great two day stay here. Clean and very comfortable beds. Easy access to the amazing trail system around Cedar Falls and we enjoyed biking and exploring the area.

The gym was fantastic and the lobby area was nice. The staff was very nice. The breakfast buffet was awful. I was told it was fresh fruit but it was from a can. It was much better to order off the menu

This property was fantastic! Very clean, staff was terrific and very quiet. They had a HS reunion one night and we heard nothing. Also, convenient walk to Dairy Queen and Casey’s gas and not that far from shopping. Highly recommend!

Would definitely stay here again. Clean, friendly, professional service, very quiet, sound-proof rooms, great breakfast made to order, not a buffet (which we prefer). We stayed on a Thursday night so things were quiet. Great for business travel, couples, and families.

The Holiday Inn is a very nice, newer hotel with lots of amenities in a perfect location off of Hwy 20. The staff and service are always great. Because it's only a few years old, it's disappointing that the Hotels.com bookings have been in rooms that are already showing wear and tear. Worn carpet, furniture with scuff marks, scuffed baseboards and walls, shower door that wouldn't stay closed, etc. We wondered if they give the lower quality rooms to hotels.com because of the lower price? Just disappointed in that regard

Pool was broken and was not alerted until we got there… so we had sad kids. We also found a pair of boxers behind a foot stool. Not the best experience due to those two things. Otherwise I’m sure it’s fine.

Nice stay in Cedar Falls. The pool was closed (which we didn’t know prior to arrival - no note on the site), but the pool table in the lobby was a hit with my son. Room was clean and everybody slept well, which are the most important factors for us. The shower door in the bathroom would not stay closed, so the floor got soaked in the corner - minor inconvenience. Free coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. We’d stay again.

One morning, I went downstairs and there was a basketball game on TV. I asked the wait staff if we could change channels so I could see more about the Iran/Israel issue that was unfolding. I asked if the person to switch to FOX news, she replied: "we are not allowed to show FOX news but should switch the channel to CNN". Second, both mornings of my stay, I left the hotel and a male with purple and green hair was stationed at the front desk. Is this really the first interaction you want your guests to have in the morning or upon check-in? Seriously?

Stayed here with a group of people for Birthday celebrations. Loved the friendly staff. The common area with shuffle board, pool, and the big open lounge area was our favorite part. Was thankful for the Dove products in the bathroom. The bed felt a bit too hard when we laid down but slept so good and body felt fine in the morning. No room noise coming from other rooms. Beautiful stay overall! Only thing I was a bit bummed about was no hot tub but other than that, 10/10! Will book again.

Stay was fine; however, the manager was less than helpful to resolve a room block issue and didn't care to help b/c he was sold out and we had to pay over double for the reservation. Would have booked elsewhere but it was a full weekend with UNI-dome tournament. Hotel was nice and breakfast/bar crew was extremely friendly and helpful!

Shannon at the front desk was amazing. I was having a rough time with my last hotel so I left it never will go back to it. Shannon took the time and helped make my bad situation into a great one. I appreciate her and the room was very clean and nice.whenever I come into town again I will always pick this one. Very clean place to be.

Very clean and modern. Lots of areas for people to socialize. Felt bad for the bartender. She was only one tending bar, taking food orders, running food out from kitchen. Place was busy for a Friday night to be understaffed. Not impressed with the food. Small menu of bar food. Prepackaged warmed up food at that. Bar stools ver not comfortable. Guess they don’t want ya staying long. Other than that, place was very conveniently located for us as we were there to go to the UNI football game.
