Wonderful people and a wonderful place

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Our host, Aris, was exceptionally kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Despite some challenges due to a ferry workers’ strike, Aris was incredibly understanding and supportive throughout. The property itself is stunning and immaculately clean. I highly recommend staying here, especially in one of their spa houses for an extra touch of luxury.

Absolutely loved staying here

On arrival, the host sat us down with a map and gave us recommendations for all the places we should go and told us how to get there. He was super lovely and even went as far to make sure we were getting onto our ferry safely. This place had everything you need with private toilets, kitchen, aircon and even a couch with a tv. Quick walk to the bus stop too.

Will definitely come back again, in a nice quiet part of town.

Loved our stay at Vita Vivere, Aris was great to deal with and his family too. Very helpful in finding local restaurants and beaches to go to. Beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable we have slept on. Shower and bathroom were great too.

No breakfast offered everyday or coffee in the room

The kitchen was quite small and did not have enough bowls and pans for cooking. But we made it work and we had a lovely time!

Very good

Great place and loved walking through the cute village of Plakes and feel like you are staying with the locals. Close to walk to Plaka and enjoy the restaurants and views. Car parking provided and easy to navigate.

A perfect base from which to explore Milos

The apartment had everything we needed. Aris (the property manager) was absolutely lovely, so helpful and responsive. We stayed here 5 nights and it was super comfortable. We were able to get around the island very quickly from here (we had a car, and there's onsite parking), and Plaka was an easy 10ish minute walk away. We completely loved our stay.

The driveway to get to the parking is steep and involves a tight turn, so just be mentally prepared for that! Not problematic at all for us but it seems worth mentioning for anybody who might have a bigger car.

This is an absolute perfect place to stay in Milos.

Beautiful accommodations! We were a group of 4 and booked a spa room. Loved having a small pool to soak in after a day around the island. The apartments are located near Plaka and was an short easy walk to dinner every night. Aris is an amazing host and was always on hand to assist with anything we needed. He had excellent tips on where to go around the island. The unit and grounds are impeccably clean. Would love to stay again if we are ever lucky enough to return to Milos. 10/10 stay all around!

Our suite and the owner made us feel at home and comfortable every moment.

The property was thoughtfully laid out down to every detail — including the lighting in the parking. Every room had their own private area to sit outside and have breakfast. The suite had everything you could need. Was impeccably clean, comfortable beds, lots of room, a refrigerator filled with reasonably priced waters, wine, and juices. We enjoyed the mini pool that it had. After a day at the beach we would come and relax here as we took turns getting ready for the evening. Ari, the property owner, was helpful throughout every aspect of our stay in Milos. He talked to us about what we liked doing and made amazing recommendations and took care of us every step of the way. He even helped us find a new rental car when the one we had gotten was not working well. When we wanted to go out in the evenings without a car he arranged taxis to drive us. I can’t say enough good things about our stay.

The property does require a car or taxi to get to many places, but you can walk to Plaka, which is about 10-15 minutes away by foot.

Lovely stay, nice view and friendly manager.

Location was nice. Walking distance to a grocery store and quite close to down town. Amenities were available at the facilities.

The main thing we did not expect is with the bathroom. The room I booked said it had 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms. However, when we arrived, there was one full bathroom and one shower in the hallway that didn't seem to connect to the hot water pipe. Also, the stairs, especially at the bottom, are easy to miss - because it twists and is slightly slippery. Several of us slipped on the last step. My mother actually fell down the step. Thankfully, she just suffered small cuts and bruises to her hip and elbow.

Amazing, relaxing apartment in Plaka area; easy to get anywhere with a car; would happily return.

We had a wonderful time at Vira Vivere from the moment we checked in until the minute we had to leave. There was a place to park our rental car, we had a small private pool as part of our unit, and the apartment itself was beautiful. The owner checked us in and provided a great deal of information about Milos. Each day when we returned from some adventure or another we chatted with him about our experiences. The location is excellent with a grocery store very close by. You do need a car and we did have to get used to a stick shift on tiny, twisty, hilly roads, but in the end it was worth it! Would highly recommend Vira Vivere!

Only one minor issue - the kitchen which included a full stove, did not have enough cooking pans/utensils/general cooking equipment. We made do and did ok, but would be nice to add some more cooking gear since the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. It would have also been nice to have a microwave, but again a very minor issue.

Fabulous host and very comfortable!

The spacious rooms. Quality bedding and bed was very comfortable- it was like I never left home. 5 stars for the space. The bathroom and kitchen was nice and we had a private outdoor area that overlook Plaka and our own private pool. The host and his wife are fabulous and very hospitable. The amenities are fabulous and very close to Plakes! Best hotel in Milos!!

Not close to many restaurants. Perfect if you have a car. No restaurant on site, but the kitchen more than makes up for it!

Charming and spacious

Aris is such a great host! He was friendly and welcoming and had lots of suggestions for making the most of our stay and working around the windy weather. The apartment was spacious, the underlit bed was cool, and it was nice to have a larger fridge and kitchen facilities. The balcony was small but sufficient. Designated parking. Vivere is in a residential neighborhood and we kind of liked that.

It's a bit of an uphill walk into Plaka but we couldn't have avoided that even staying in Plaka. The extra distance to Plakes was flat. Our room (#5) was right next to the street at street level so it was noisy but not unbearably so. (We expected that.)

Great Milos Apartment!

Aris, our host, was very friendly and helpful. He helped us call a rental car company and had it delivered right to us. The unit was clean and had everything we needed.

The apartment is a distance from Plaka (old town). It’s about a mile away on narrow hilly roads to reach. You almost have to have a rental car on Milos to get around so walking really isn’t necessary anyway.

Amazing experience in Milos!

This place was one of the best choices of our trip! Airis is an amazing host, always there to help and really taking care of you to make sure you really enjoy your holidays and relax. I felt at home! Breakfast was prepared with care and was always really good. Location is also perfect to visit the island!
