A private room with a balcony. There is a fridge with freezer, very useful under heat waves in Santorini. The staff is nice, allowed me to storage my bag after checking out.
The location is not close to town centre. There is a bus station nearby but not all buses stopped there.
4.5
Clean room with AC and Wi-Fi. Location close to bus stop and a few places to eat. Very gracious host.
Getting to the Villa was awkward. You walk down , what seems to be an alley and then an even narrower alley before you get to the Villa. It was hard to find.

The room was small but it had everything we needed. Super clean and fresh towels daily. Good location to walk into Fia (about 20 minutes). Staff were lovely.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Staff were very helpful with organising transfers from ferry port and airport. Modern room with air-conditioning.
Location was further away from Fira than expected. About 30 minute walk to the main part of the city.

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. There was a large balcony. The hotel owners were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Nice room, place.

The room is super small. Not even space for the laugage. Picture does not show the size of room properly. We had one laugage and we had to jump over it and no closet. I hit my knee to bed twice since I had to jump over it.

My boyfriend and I spent a whole week at Villa Pavlina, the host Pavlina is incredibly kind. Every day they change you sheets and towels, the room is always spotless. If you are looking for a hotel near Thira, this property is very close to the bus stop,by foot it takes only 15 /20min. The perfect choice for a couple!

Set down the lanes of a very traditional old Town, you will find this quaint accommodation next to a lovely little church. The local town is Karterados which doesn't have much going on, although "To Fagopoti" is a local restaurant worth a visit. Some restaurants rely on spectacular views, not To Fagopoti. They offer food made with passion and tradition. They are popular, on some nights they could get busy, suggest booking ahead just in case. There are a few little vantage points around town where you will get at least a partial nice view of the island out to the sea.
Find "Erotokritos Cretan Bakery" for breakfast pastries and fresh fruit juice and/or coffee. You'll thank me. FYI the best local supermarket is directly next door to the bakery.
Our room at Villa Pavlina was very basic, but at an exceptionally good price. Rooms were cleaned daily. Beds were comfy. Aircon worked.
It was lovely having a few sun loungers and a pool (see photo of me swimming a few widths).
If you are staying here, chances are you are on a budget. If you arrive by ferry and looking to save unnecessary expenses and you’re traveling light, wait for the local bus, and ask to be dropped off near Karterados. Sometimes the local bus may only show up half an hour after the ferry has left.
Despite the good value, lovely patio area and friendly people at Villa Pavlina, our shower, or in particular, the shower curtain rails, left virtually no room to shower. Okay, I’m a big bloke, but even my 14 year old son and 16 year old daughter complained of not having enough space to shower without the curtain clinging to your body. I took a picture of a pair of sliders in the shower, but it doesn’t really show how tight the space is once a body is in there.
The walk into Fira town is not a particularly pleasant 20 minute walk, and the pavements are a state. In London they would be considered a health hazard. It’s not a pleasant way to start and finish each day’s adventures, but I suppose it’s a necessary compromise that this price.

Room was a good size and very clean
Pool had so much bleach in it..

The host was sympatic! With advices to go to the ferry. It was perfect to stay one night (no kitchen). A lot of little shops around, and near the bus station

Room was cleaned everyday, the owner was so friendly and I never felt alone even though I was travelling alone, it's also super quiet in the surrounding area so that's lovely
Not a criticism but just to be aware that it's a slight walk into Fira town and it's extremely tough in the harsh summer heat but would be no bother in the cooler months
