Great location. Friendly staff
Pool was out of order. Bathroom shower was broken and spraying water. Bath water came out brown for a while. Overall, I could of experienced the same facilities at my own house. Thats the reason I went to a hotel😂

Location
Not enough lighting. Very There were two bedside lamps. Another lamp on bench was plugged in with a broken start button, so you can't even turn it on. The room's centralised hotel controlled heating was too hot. We could not adjust this although tried to with the fan panel on wall.
There was a disturbance co directly between 10.30 pm when we were in bed. It sounded like a washing machine or dryer motors rotating g stopping for a few seconds and restarting. This pattern was continuing until after midnight. This then stopped and started again about 4 hours later at 430am. We stayed two nights and thought that the second night would be better.
The same thing occurred. We mentioned our situation to the room service girl that who knocked on our door saying she thought we'd checked out as she saw approx 9.45am that my husband left the room was taking some luggage to the car. The room service girl said sorry but didn't know what to say regards to the " humming sound" We went to the desk to mention this to the manager but spoke to the receptionist who took details and said to wait for the manager. He didn't appear as she said he was busy after we waited for him for
around 10-15 minutes. She took our details but we have not heard anything yet. I know we didn't have the best room in the house, but "rest" is important to us. We hope to hear from the Manager soon. The response will be gratefully received as it will show that they do care about our stay and honest valid reasons why we are upset and husband is very dissspointed. He expected a more pleasant stay. My husband is 67 was looking forward to staying whilst visiting an ill family member. This experience has be extremely dissapointing.

The location
It’s dirty, old and not been updated for a long time.
The bed felt like it was an old spring mattress from the 80’s, the lift was old, with dirty buttons and finishings, the room had a flood light on till 1030 at night that shone into the room making it difficult to sleep, the staff didn’t explain anything, didn’t tell me about my breakfast how I was to order it nor was I supplied a menu.
The info they do have is that old, it still reverting back to social distancing time when Covid came about.
Said they had parking for guests, not enough and had to park out on the street.

The location
The heated indoor pool was cold we were told the repair contractor was not answering his phone . The locals and others said the pool is always not heated , apparently it has not worked for two weeks . The mattress was so worn that it was not sitting on the base properly. Three nights of sore backs , glad to be leaving

Location ✅
Very clean/ neat

Great location and the whole vibe of the place was gorgeous, receptionist was really lovely
Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, the bench looked liked it hadn’t been wiped from the previous occupants.
Cleaning staff walked in TWICE early in the morning (one before 7:30am, and both before check out time) after saying ‘don’t come in’ and not even giving me enough time to get to the door they barge in
The people in our neighbouring room were rowdy and loud from the time we checked in until at least 4:30am the next morning , so we got a terrible night sleep and we spoke to reception a number of times for assistance or if they could help us out but nothing changed.

location is good you can park in hotel carpark walk everywhere. Bed was comfortable
only complaint I requested a room with no bath only a walk in shower. but did not get that. we are seniors and climbing into the bath to shower was dangerous.

The staff who came and cleaned were lovely and took lots of care.
Location was fantastic.
The mirror recess in the bedroom was a great idea.
The shower screen leaked during showers in the corner where it met the floor and left a puddle of water beside the toilet.
4.5 / 5.0
The location is very central and ideal. The room was neat and clean. A little more pressure in the shower would have been good. Access to general facilities within the room hire e.g., tea making, hair dryer was very beneficial and convenient.
Potentially addressing the shower issue but generally all was okay.

Room Clean
Cleanliness of balcony and chairs
4.5 / 5.0
A unique type of accommodation, very clean and set in stunning grounds with wildlife roaming freely. Plenty of parking and very peaceful. A very warm welcome received when checking in and was provided with lots of local information. Breakfast was served in the most wonderful room, decorated with so many beautiful items.
We wasn’t comfortable sharing the kitchen with strangers, not having a kettle in the room meant having to get dressed to make a hot drink. The self catering facilities we’re extremely good, but we would’ve liked the option to make a drink in the room.
Breakfast was a little disorganised as it wasn’t really clear as to what to do, there was, however, cereals, toast and you could order eggs and bacon.
4.0 / 5.0
Within walking distances of the beach, bars, restaurants, ample parking, rooms spotlessly clean and staff welcoming and friendly. Pool area is relaxing and again very clean. Bed was very comfortable, great air con too.
Wifi in the room was non existent. Reception said this was because the hotel was full, however we tried at various times, including 2am, and nothing. Having to use data when you’ve paid for WiFi is not acceptable and the WiFi clearly is not fit for purpose.
Balcony furniture needs replacing.

Great location. Staff were very friendly. Good facilities.
I thought it was over priced.

The location is ok which is next to the town centre.
The hotel is outdated. A pool inside makes the entire hotel full of pool smell. There is no life in the lower level car park. So be careful if you have lots of stuff to carry to the room. There is loud wind flow noise from the door which could be caused by the bathroom ventilation.
