About this house rental
Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath guest house in the West End neighborhood. Sleeps 6-7.
The inside of the house has been completely updated. It has new floors, bath fixtures, light fixtures, and ceiling fans throughout. Our most recent upgrade is the replacement of all the windows. This provides a quieter, warmer or cooler environment, that keeps out most of our lovely west Texas sand.
The Kitchen has new LG appliances and is equipped with cooking essentials for your stay and of course, plenty of coffee and tea. The dining table seats 6 comfortably with more folding chairs are available in the coat closet.
The Living room has a comfortable couch and two upholstered chairs with Television receiving internet TV channel access, a Blue Ray player and WIFI. (No cable TV)
The Master Bedroom is furnished with a king bed and private bath, the south bedroom is furnished with a queen bed a twin day bed. The north bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. There are two full baths. The laundry room has a Speed Queen washer, dryer, an iron, ironing board, and small clothes steamer. Laundry supplies provided.
We hope you will find it very welcoming, comfortable, clean and bright.
The back yard has a new 7' privacy fence that we love.
We now can begin the upgrades planned for this outdoor space. We have finished the pergola. Yeah! This spring as the weather permits, we will be working on the landscape project for the backyard space and the front yard. We added a large Char Grill BBQ on the back patio for those of you who love to cook out. We will keep you updated with photos as the new additions are completed.
Our property is No Smoking/Vaping and No Pets home.
For your convince the Cleaning fee is included.
Garage access is not available.
Check-in: 4pm day of arrival
Check out: 11:00 am the day of departure.

The Westend Guesthouse was a perfect place for my family of five! The home was clean, and very tastefully decorated. We were all very comfortable during our graduation weekend and would recommend this property to anyone who needs a place for any Tech events. The proximity to campus made it very convenient.

Photos don’t do it justice! This home is updated and fully appointed with everything you need. Cozy home but very comfortable for 4-6 adults. Private backyard is a fun hangout with twinkle lights. Convenient to lots of stores and restaurants as well as TTU. Friendly and helpful hosts!

Lovely home. Well appointed & decorated. It was even decorated for Christmas which was such a personal touch & added to my family’s enjoyment. Fantastic host as well. They even accommodated a late checkout so my parents didn’t have to sit at the airport all day. Just a great experience! Would highly recommend!

The host of this property was always super responsive and very helpful! We arrived to complimentary waters and yummy cookies! No joke....every single little thing we thought of that we didn't have with us she has a stock of in the house and so very well labeled! The decor is very thoughtful and the timing of our stay had Fall decorations. If our daughter chooses to attend Texas Tech we will definitely be back! Thanks again for a wonderful and cozy place to spend a few days with family!

If you are in the Lubbock area this is the best place to stay! We were looking at a place to stay in Lubbock instead of a hotel and this place was amazing. It was so clean and really cute. Thank you!! We will be staying here again in the future!

Wonderful home, clean and comfortable. Location worked for us to get around and see a Texas Tech football game. We will stay here again next time we visit Lubbock. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed
Online housing can be hit or miss compared to the promotional photos/listing provided by owners. This home checked all of the boxes in a good way. Very clean, comfortably set up, well appointed with ample everything and the kitchen had everything you would need. Good books and entertainment center. All of us were very pleased with the home. The back yard accommodated 12-15 people for a short graduation brunch and several very competitive hole board games. Well done with attention to detail.

Excellent rental experience
This was our third time renting this property and again it really was a good vacation rental experience. The house was very clean, the kitchen is well supplied with an assortment of accessories and appliances for all your cooking needs and it was even festively decorated in a fall theme this time.

Great Customer Service
This was our second stay at this property and It was excellent again. We contacted the owner to advise that we would be arriving late night due to delays in our travel. Not only was the home clean and prepared for our arrival, but she was thoughtful enough to turn on porch lights and a/c for us so that we weren’t bumbling around in the dark on arrival and the house was already cooled down when we entered. That was such a nice thing to do.

Nice place to stay
We really enjoyed this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and close to the university and popular restaurants. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but house was very clean and checkin was very easy. We loved the backyard and grill. It was a great option for a cookout.

Clean, comfortable and spacious
My family of four stayed at this property August 2021. There were plenty of linens and towels and the kitchen was equipped enough to make a few meals at home. The property is close to shopping, restaurants, and 10 mins to Texas Tech University. The owner was very communicative.

Perfect Graduation Weekend
Wonderful property/home for the family to gather and celebrate the accomplishments of our 2021 Graduate ! We loved and utilized the outdoor space and once the blessings of West Texas rain 🌧 arrived, we moved indoors to the living room & kitchen. The accommodations were exactly what we had hoped for on this trip to Lubbock !!

Amazing
Dawna, I absolutely loved that house. Everything was so wonderful. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of dishes to use. And the backyard was super cute with the corn hole and everything. We will definitely be reaching out again when we come back to Lubbock. My son was able to able to leave the dorm for a weekend and stay with us and felt like home for him a little bit. Thank you thank you so much. We also loves all your scriptures all over as we are believers too. Sorry about the pan in the sink I ran out of time. Y’all are amazing. Thank you thank you.

Clean and convenient
Great neighborhood, close to the outlet mall, very clean, awesome back yard, comfortable beds, very nice kitchen, we will be asking if we can come back, and the owner Dawna is the sweetest person! Thank you for a great weekend with my family in Lubbock Dawna! :)

Pennsylvanians staying in Lubbock Texas
This home is amazing and the owner is very nice to deal with. We traveled to visit family over a 4 day trip and this was a great place to stay. The house has everything you need we were able to make a few meals, relax in the backyard have a cookout with the kids. We will be looking to stay here again on our next trip tp Texas. Plus this was 100 times better than any hotel stay i have ever had.

Adorable home
Came in for a TTU game with several friends. This house was perfect. Great outdoor area with seating and corn hole to play. Nice updates throughout. Dawna even left waters and cookies for us. It had everything we needed and location was easy access to the loop. Would definitely stay here again.

BETTER THAN HOME!
This house is fabulous! The owner is so, very accommodating and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were welcomed with cookies (& fruit snacks in the pantry for the little ones) and a beautifully decorated, cozy home! The house was very clean, plenty of clean towels and linens, and stocked with all the necessities (that no one else ever provides!). I would definitely rent from Dawna again!❤

Graduation ttuhsc family stay
The house had everything we needed and more. The house was nicely appointed. It was well equipped in all aspects. Dawna was so thoughtful. There were snacks and beverages when we arrived. Additionally, she accommodated our arrival by allowing us to check in and drop-off our food prior to our graduation events that afternoon and evening. We hope to stay again in the near future.

Very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked
Everything was exactly as described. The home was beautiful and had everything we need. The kitchen is very well stocked with general spices, cooking oils and even snacks. They have more dishes, utensils and cookware than I have in my house. That was very helpful.
The cost of staying there was less than a hotel suite would have been for all of us.
We were there for my daughter’s volleyball tournament so we rushed out early Sunday morning to get back to the gym. Around 11 am Dawna sent me a text letting me know that they found a pair of shoes that had been left in the closet and offered to mail them to me. (A pair of shoes that I just bought a few days before!) Luckily, we were going to be in Lubbock for most of the day for volleyball so she said she would put them on the front porch. When we went by to get them, she had put them in a nice paper bag with my name on it. When I opened the bag, I saw that she had even wrapped them up neatly in tissue paper! She just went above and beyond.
Highly recommend this home and we will stay there again.

Beautiful house just right for our needs
House was very neat and organized. Very welcoming. Only thing we disliked was the mattresses on the beds otherwise a great stay. Would recommend it to anyone else. Great price too!
