Can't beat the location. Perfect ski in and out.
A room for 5 was booked. But had to use a 1980s fold out couch. Other bed mattresses were due for replacement 15 years ago.
And with the couch folded out, there was very little room to walk or store more than one suitcase. Could not use the small desk and single chair because of the fold out couch.
Heating control was virtually non existent. Room was hot in the afternoon, cool for some hours at night, then hot again in the morning.
After stepping into the bath to have a shower, we realised there was only one sliding door. The other half was missing.
The toilet was from the 1970s. Took a long time to fill and was very noisy.
The room is in urgent need of modernisation, and is only suitable for a maximum of 4 people.

Good Service.
Size of the room and type of ventilation below any standard and dangerous to health !!!!

proximity to the slopes and meals were really nice. I stayed in a budget room so it was small but comfortable.
there isn't anything to do around the area, the pub shuts really early and the cocktail bar doesn't have much of a vibe. was a bit of extra admin managing your luggage on the ski tube to get in too since there is no on site overnight parking.

Staff, food and location were excellent
Lack of ventilation in bathroom, damp smell

It is the very best loaction on the resort. The hotel is between the Village 8 and express quad chairlifts so getting the slopes is a breeze. And who doesn't love skiing back right to the door. The restaurant and Bar are great. Very tasty food and good selection at the bar.
I expected a hair dyer would be provided.

Great location to hit the slopes straight outside the door. Food was delicious. Convenient lockers to put your skis and boots of a night. Overall a great stay.

The location right next to the lifts and lovely friendly and helpful staff
It was what we expected, small and functional. However, there is not a lot of communal space to use during the day.

the staff were always professional and provided excellent service in all areas - restaurant, bar, reception , housekeeping
The evening meals were not as enjoyable as we have had previously in previous years , pre COVID, however the standard was very good.

Right next to lifts and not having to go over snow. Not far from ski tube so no over show required. Dinners where very pleasant. Staff where pleasant there was an odd one but there alway is.
Thin walls which made sleeping difficult at times, our room was next to stairs so heard everyone going up and down. Noisy heater which we had to turn off most of the time. Poor wifi which keep dropping off in accommodation room not such an issue as with good mobile coverage for our carriers (Telstra and Optus).

location and food were 11/10.. amazing!
our room was very very small - there wasn’t even enough room to put out suitcases on the ground!

proximity to lifts and shops food was good
beds were uncomfortable

Loved the location and facilities on offer.
Food was average and staff (outside of the bar man) couldve been a little more personable.
3.5 / 5.0
Perfect location next to the chairlifts.
Good drink and food service.
Great bar and bar staff.
Nice fireplace.
Pillows were super thin;
The kettle in the room had a very short cord to reach the power socket - thank god for the bible to rest the kettle on.
Breakfast was ordinary - deep fried and over-cooked.
No digital tv reception for the tv provided in the room. I was told the issue was remoteness of the location - why, then put a tv in the room?

The location is fantastic, the facilities are great.
Due to the lack of staff our breakfasts and dinners were not ideal. The food did run out and one of our hot breakfasts and dinners was missed altogether. The staff did their best under the circumstance's.

Great location.
Rooms are small, but quality of service and location compensate for this downside

Location was amazing
Service was terrible. Being short staffed shouldn’t mean the guests have to make the sacrifices

Breakfast was ok, maybe a bit more variety and stock. Staff were great.... obviously some teething problems with the beginning of the season but still service with a smile and nothing too much problem. Hotel was comfortable and excellent location. Would def stay there again however you are paying for the location more than the luxury so be aware that even though you pay to stay there do not expect 5 star luxury. Dinner menu was excellent.... far exceeded our expectations. Every meal was great.
Little disorganised with meals etc however we put that down to staff shortages. All staff were friendly.
