Outstanding Tap Room staff (Spiros & Colleen). Great music combo trio w/vocalist. Lobby ambiance was made elegant and timeless with RJ's wonderful piano playing and song selection. An atmosphere of a beautiful genteel bygone era yet accompanied by modern amenities.

The staff were lovely and very outgoing. They really helped at check in and with luggage taken to our room. The room, however, was small (which for a historic hotel is not strange) and had big, bulky furniture. The bathroom was also small and poorly ventilated, with the water draining very slowly from the tub. The bed was comfortable but we felt a bit claustrophobic in the space, and it had a bad smell like damp basement (again, poor ventilation?) We also found someone's clothes in one of the drawers, which made us wonder how well the room was cleaned.

When rain disrupted our plans, we were forced to stay close to the hotel. It proved to be a very comfortable place to weather the storm. Food, drinks and ambiance were spot on. The room was clean and comfortable; good bed, good shower. The location, of course was perfect.

Especially enjoyed the player piano.

Absolutely amazing hotel with an incredible history.

Our stay was very good. Marcos was amazing at the front desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. our room was first rate.
I thought the value of our stay was excellent. So much to do and see in downtown Bethlehem!
4.7
Young woman at registration was very helpful in finding a room to accommodate our early arrival.

Historic hotel, but still felt clean and modern. Room was nice and bathrooms were nice as well. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The town was nice and the historic buildings were literally right outside the front door. There are also plenty of dining options within a block. One of the best surprises was the cost. Everything from the room to the food was at a fair reasonable price. Hidden gem that I will be returning to.

Charming

We’ll put together hotel, professional service, nice accommodating staff. Clean and is right in the middle of the town. Everything is walkable and the food is great.
4.7
This is a beautiful old hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. As is often the case in old hotels, the room is on the smaller size. The staff was amazing, professional and accommodating. We were only there for one night, but would certainly return.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Historic District. Beautiful architecture within this unique city center founded by Moravians in the mid 1700’s. Comfy bedding was just what we needed for a good night’s sleep!

We are visiting only one night but have enjoyed this beautiful hotel !
4.7
The room was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better was to have been able to open a window for fresh air.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be coming back.
4.7
Everything was wonderful. Definitely will visit again.

Our check-in experience was wonderful from the moment we pulled up. Friendliness and hospitality are a cornerstone of service here. So wonderful! Nice clothing shop and restaurant in the premises. Room with one king bed is small, but comfy. Bed comfortable, towels absorbent and the robe was a nice touch. The bathroom is very small, but quaint. Pretty please install a second safety bar as the step in the tub is deep and the tub itself and surrounding tiles can be slippery. Scary. Hotel decor is nostalgic and nice. Many nice touches, but the hallway outside our room in the ninth floor smelled moldy and I have allergies. Signed, EA

Although staff and service were generally excellent, I rated it "poor" because of the following. On my first morning we had an excellent breakfast in the Tap Room at about 9:30. The next morning (5/12) we again went for breakfast at about 9:30 and were told seating had ended at 9:00 due to Mother's Day lunch preparations! We should have been notified (under the door?) in advance. As hotel guests, ordinary service should not have been sacrificed for local revenue.

Never disappointed! A true favorite 😍

It has been years since the hallways of the hotel were graced with Bethlehem Steel executives. While still a grand old lady, the rooms are a bit tired, and could use an update. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help.
4.7
The room was pretty average. Old was expected since it was a historic building. However, the room could use some tidy-up (leaky faucet, empty hair cap box) and more cleaning. The location and the ambience were GREAT! Even with the room conditions being okay, I’d def stay at this hotel again. Restaurants, bars, shops and other attractions are in walking distance or just a short drive, including the minor league ballpark in Allentown. Felt safe at night too.

Hotel with character

First and foremost the property should advise guests that a train passes by every two hours at night! Whistling! Most rooms are facing the train tracks!
A historic hotel in historic town!

I enjoy staying in this hotel. The only hiccup was the TV. I had to call the front desk to get someone to come and get the tv working. He was not familiar with the television so it took a little while but he was very nice. Also, it was VERY noisy outside. Maybe because it was a Saturday night. Everything else about the hotel was great. The rooms were clean and updated. Staff was nice and tried to be helpful.
4.7
A gorgeous, classic hotel with an incredibly friendly, attentive & helpful-beyond-ordinary front desk & staff, spacious room tastefully decorated, exquisite restaurant with a classic bar attended by a classic bartender, convenient to nearby stores & restaurants. An overall classy & classic experience

Had a short stay, I checked in at 11 pm and checked out before 8 am. The staff were friendly staff and helpful. Will be back to see what more they have to offer

It was a very relaxing stay during St Patrick's Day 2024. We were not in town for that event but everyone was so friendly. Very historic place and surrounding venues.

Truly an American hotel gem. Great history, service, dining.

Historic hotel in downtown Bethlehem. Beautiful, quiet, old and charming. Food was excellent with live music at brunch. Will return.

Wonderfully warm check-in staff! Room was cozy and historic. We had a wonderful time :)

Strange pipe leaked on bathroom floor. Could not shower. Too tired to switch rooms if they had one.

We had a fantastic visit to the Hotel Bethlehem!
From our greeting by the bellman to the wait staff and registration, everything was wonderful!

We stayed at the hotel for a night out in downtown Bethlehem with some other couples. The hotel is in a perfect location & staff is very friendly.

Very nice hotel and rooms
4.7
We loved the location and history of the hotel and downtown area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the Tap Room in the morning and the food was very good but it took over a half hour to be served our food, with only about 2 other tables occupied.
