Great staff, charming rooms with nice hammock on patio. The included breakfast is just fantastic. All food is well thought, prepared and of super quality just like everything at this place. Pricey, but very charming.

This was my third visit to the Maroma and I know I'll be back again soon. It is beautifully built and landscaped, the food is wonderfully prepared and varied, the staff is friendly and more than helpful, the rooms are lovely, the beach is perfect. Everyone works hard to make it as beautiful as it always is. My favorite thing? Seeing the sunrise over the beach. The jungle view from our terrace. Another favorite? A big dish of guacamole sitting at the bar in the late afternoon. Least favorite thing? Several loud children playing in the pool late at night. (This was never a problem during previous stays) An adults-only policy would be welcome. Thank you to everyone!

Belmont Maroma is amazing! I have already looked into going back and we haven’t even left here. The food was fantastic which is always a big concern for me when traveling to Mexico as I’ve had bad experiences at an all inclusive resort in Mexico before. The food at Belmont was fantastic! Overall we had a blast and can’t wait to return.

It's a large property with extensive grounds and facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and the room rate we paid was reasonable. However, the food and drink prices are out of this world.

I have stayed at nice hotels before, but the Belmond Maroma really was heads and shoulders above the rest. Everyone on the staff was truly amazing. From the beach waiters to bartenders to the desk service, recreation services, the hotel really sets a standard for great customer service. I cant say enough good about the place. There was nothing about the place that was not excellent.

This place is amazing. We were looking at a more private hotel around playa del Carmen and this place exceeded our expectations.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Belmond Maroma. We wanted a small luxury boutique hotel and that is what we found at Belmond Maroma. The staff was excellent. The setting is very romantic. You enter from a very obscure driveway (contrast this with the signs at the mega-resorts and the wide roads and you will know what I mean) and you drive down a long narrow road through the jungle to a rustic stone entryway that is from another time. The staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was excellent and the bar was fantastic.

Very pleasant hotel, right on the beach. We could not swim in the ocean that much, due to algae proliferation, but had a good time anyway. The pools are very attractive, 20+ meters long for swimming, and an excellent purification system with no chlorine taste.
The restaurants could be improved, given the somewhat isolated location, with daily grilled fish or specials. The menu gets repetitive after a few evenings.
I thought that the price point was high given the overall comfort and amenities.

I have traveled all over the world and have never have experienced some wonderful care & service. I felt like I was home. The staff were so caring and friendly. The hotel was amazingly gorgeous. They have kept the mexican tradition alive in this hotel. They have a lady that comes on a daily basis and makes tortillas for the guests. The food was five star. I can go on and on. Amazing!

This is a small resort - only 69 rooms which makes it wonderful if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway amongst gorgeous tropical plantings! The staff is super friendly and at your service. Iguanas cross your path, there are bikes to borrow and the grounds wind around the property and are lovely. There are separate pools that are almost like having your own private swimming hole.

This resort offers those looking for a romantic getaway the perfect escape. It never feels to crowded or overly isolated and the staff - you couldn't ask for a friendlier or more accommodating staff. The resort itself is impeccable from it's velvet sand to the incredible drinks to the room accommodations, we can't wait to go back.

This was our first trip to the Riviera Maya. Maroma was truly amazing!! My husband and I spent one week and have never felt so welcomed and pampered. The service and attention to details were outstanding! Although we were there during the off season (September) and only El Restaurante was open, we did not tire of the menu. You could request anything and the chef would accommodate. Breakfast was outstanding! Loved the Chaya juice and the dragonfruit!! I experienced the Kinaan Ritual at the Spa and it was truly blissful!! Husband went scuba diving for the first time and loved it so much, he had to go again! Our room was wonderful with a fantastic view (Oceanview). Hospitality arranged a taxi for a day and we went to the ruins of Coba, visited 2 Cenotes and Playa Del Carmen. You really could do as little or as much as you wanted. We would highly recommend Maroma Resort & Spa! Great place to reconnect, relax and enjoy God's beauty! The only part we didn't like was leaving!!
