The hotel is a huge complex that you don't necessarily need to leave during your holiday if you are into that kind of an experience. You can find multiple pools, several restaurants and even a decent minimarket at the hotel. Pools got fairly crowded during the day even though it wasn't high season. Same can be said about the breakfast. The room was spacious but had a little moldy smell to it. The service was ok but nothing to write home about.

Brilliant family holiday, very accommodating staff. Unique rooms are worth the extra.

Love this hotel! Our 4th time back, loads of pool choices, we stayed in a senior suite Unique. Upgrade is definitely worth it, lovely a la carte breakfast by the pool, food great in the buffet. Brilliant top floor balcony with lounger, excellent staff, will definitely be back.

Everything was beyond expectations. Wonderful hotel. The best one in the island.

Really beautiful hotel with few amazing swimming pools, great restaurants and located close to the beach. Really friendly staff and very helpful receptionists. Excellent food served in every restaurant and great selection, including buffet. Hotel very clean and nice and spacious rooms.
The only downside is that there is no parking and we had to park on the road about 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Some parking spaces on the road in front of the hotel but never available.
During our stay majority of visitors were from Germany so Sun loungers were usually all reserved at early hours in the morning…very annoying. Also people smoking by the swimming pools even though they are non smoking areas. Designated smoking areas are available near every pool but some people are just ignorant, inconsiderate of others and rude!

Hotel was stunning and the service was first class. Room service & cleaning staff were around a few times each day making sure everything was up to standard and replenished.
All of the pools were brilliant and not overly busy and there was enough entertainment through the day and at night to keep everyone happy.

Lovely hotel, in beautiful grounds. Lots to do. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants along the sea front.
Only fault was rooms had a musky smell. Also we did have to move rooms because our first room was located next to a heavily planted bamboo area that the birds roosted in. The noise as sun rose in the morning was unreal. Moved to a room that was not near a heavily planted area and was fine.

Cannot fault this hotel 10/10 in every area

The hotel is pretty outstanding visually.
It really is like being transported to a tropical paradise.Great views and the size of the room was great. There was a really good pool for our toddler too.
Great choice of food at the buffet.
I was initially concerned about the price of drinks but they weren't too bad. We did also get water at breakfast and in the room with the Unique package.
One of the toddler pools was not working and there were works going on during our stay
The music at night from the bands/shows could be pretty loud and hard to sleep at times
The British tv channels do not work, apparently this is a bigger problem than the hotel and not a big deal but it would have been good to have been informed about this at check in
I was encouraged to check in in advance but I can't see how this saved any time upon arrival as I had to do it all again
I'm listing all of these things although minor as these are the things that would make it an all round 5 star experience.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms. Staff friendly, welcoming and professional. Nice restaurants and beach around the area. Perfect for a relaxing break. Pool is so nice too. Enjoyed the food and drinks, there is a great selection. Would definitely go again

Awful customer service- non-existent. Unhelpful reception staff and extremely rude upon check-in when we had an issue with our booking package. They asked for proof which we provided but said it was impossible to offer the rate at that price despite having the proof they asked for. Did not want to help or make us feel welcome in any way. Forced us to pay if we wanted the package (that we had already paid for) and said their sales team would be in until Monday so they can’t help (checked-in on Friday) and they IF we were correct they would refund us?! Would not recommend and would have preferred not to have stayed after that experience. An extremely commercial venue and expensive for what it is. A vast and soleless complex. An ok resort.

Repeat visit - enjoyable family trip, with plenty of walking in the dunes.

Not many things to do in the resort

The staff went out of their way to accommodate me after a missed flight. They did all they could to make my stay comfortable. The resort itself is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. Huge rooms. Great breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

The hotel with garden and pools is really nice, relaxing even a lot of families can have fun there too. The hotel is close to the dunes, maybe 10min relaxing walk. To the south outside you have a bit like shopping, restaurant and club area (sound) to the north is unbuilt area, just street. The rooms are big. Even standard double and really nice organized. But a little minus is, you can hear your loud neigbouhr besides and above. Maybe we just had some bad luck with them. 10 days of stay, the first 6 days it was super calm and then we heard timer ringing from beside, hard steps above us and loud expressions from the other side (double standard)

Went with daughter hotel is lovely we thought the nicest in keeping with local area , breakfast was excellent, I don’t like buffet dinners so we ate out each evening

Surprised by the quality of this hotel compared to what was advertised online. Had to queue a number of times in order to check in when I arrived. Also communal areas are a bit tired compared to online pictures. Things like beach towel swap only being available from 10-12pm didn’t feel very 5*

Two comments- towels on sunbeds early morning and no one using them. I suggest you stop that for your non-Unique staying guests. Have an adults only pool.

Nice hotel, staff good with kids. But the food(in the whole mas palomas inkl the hotel is terrible) get the food part good - the ratings will be better. Expected a lot more for the price I paid

Hotel is fantastic, amazing pools, our room which was a junior suite overlooked the bars below and they played music until 3am...they offered to move our room the next day, staff were great.
5.0
A beautiful hotel at the more expensive end of the market. Wonderful gardens and great swimming pools.
I can only comment on breakfast because we ate out in the evenings. Breakfast was very good.
The only negatives were that check in took too long, that there were no adult only areas to escape from other peoples’ children and that Lopesan have relaxed their policy to deter guests putting towels on sunbeds at the crack of dawn then disappearing until midday.

The perfect balance of luxury and child friendly. Highly recommend.

Servicedesk can learn from other staff to be more friendly not rude and also be more clear where the rooms are instead of letting us wonder around where our room is. It's same such a beautiful hotel have rude staff working for them

Although the property looks well-maintained, we found quite a few insects and cockroaches in our room (maybe nothing to do with the cleanliness of the hotel but its proximity to the the outside environment)
Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Desing and finishing touches are outstanding.
Overal, a good but not perfect experience.

By far has got to be the best and nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, I get quite nervous and there were quiet pools! I’m also coeliac and there were plenty of food option, everything was just so easy and convenient

Great hotel for a week relaxing round the pools.
Architecture and design of the hotel really added to our enjoyment. Pools were the highlight - something to suit everyone, plenty of natural shade, lots of sunbeds.
Junior Suite was spacious, with comfortable bed, quiet effective air con, smart bathroom and plenty of storage space.
"Unique" package was worth it in particular for the calm, relaxed breakfast area and free cava at lunchtimes.
Meloneras resort has a pleasant promenade with shops/restaurants and access to a long sandy beach.
2.5
Luxurious resort that makes you feel like an A-List celeb. Very comfortable facilities, the food is delicious and the staff are all super helpful and friendly. Rooms are dark and the beds are single beds pushed together disappointingly.

We loved the hotel, the food was very good, the service definitely 5 star. We loved our room which had its own pool. We benefited from Unique benefits which we really enjoyed, especially the drinks and snacks during the day. We would definitely stay here again.

My 5th visit. Too many children running loose around the restauranrs though. I have arthritis and it could have been a disaster at times.

Had a wonderful time for 10 days at Baobab ❤️ unfortunately there was a lot of ups and downs… both my son and partner got sick from the food served in the lunch and dinner buffets some of the days.. we had to go out to eat after that. Maybe some expired food? Or a lack in hygiene? Don’t know.. Next time we will not have all included.
My son, one year old, also hade some difficulties eating - he's not used to eating on holidays, in a big room with a lot of other people, and he had a plate with food he had barely touched. One older woman who worked in the restaurant rolled her eyes at us when cleaning the table… that’s not a good feeling when living at a five star hotel, when you try everything to get your one year old to eat. Not very welcoming.. also, some of the servants also asked for us to pay almost immediately when we had our drinks. Once I just had gotten to the table after having one fork with food in my mouth, and my son on my other arm, having to dig out my purse for my credit card. When on vacation you really just want to relax, and this for me was stressful..
Most of the staff was very nice and welcoming, and especially Sabine ❤️❤️
The whole resort is a paradise!! We loved the pools, the sun beds, the lifeguards that helped us with the parasol every day. The housekeeping was excellent, with clean room and fresh towels every day 😀
Great arrangements for children with children’s show, Panchi and so on. My son loved it!
We will be back 😎🏝️🌞

Very nice family resort! 5 star in general. Unfortunately service at the reception is max 2 star to 40 % of the reception desk staff.

if you wanna relax this isn’t the place kids everywhere
you can hear everything from the other rooms also snoring or phone ringing
we could t sleep
no relax by pool or breakfast if crying babies ! what a shame would be a great place otherwise

Very noisy at night as the doors are heavy and slam hard waking us up all night long. Complained 3 times but nothing happened.
Lack of staff was very clearly a big problem.

The hotel is modern, relaxed and beautifully designed. Food in the buffet is excellent, but lunch in the snack bars lets the hotel down. In December the pools are cold, kids didn’t want to go in, but really well designed - great layout.

Amazing hotel , beautiful surroundings so family friendly
