It’s clean, quiet, comfortable surrounded by Mother nature. The breakfast is second to none. I am going back in June with my team. This place is simply the best.

The property was private and no commercial entertainment around it. If you have no personal vehicle with you then it is hard to stay. The property owner was very helpful in giving a ride to go out.

A wonderful old home kept in A1 condition. A lift into town turned into a real orientation of the area. Unsolicited we were driven to airport at 5am and given a lovely breakfast to take with us. What service. Highly recommend.

A very relaxing stay at Native Abode. Stein the owner/manager is friendly, efficient and very helpful and the ladies who do the cleaning are lovely.
Quiet location with very little passing traffic, and the garden behind the property is really nice with fruit trees, hummingbirds etc.
Very well equipped rooms, with lots of hi-tech equipment that all works (!). Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean.
Handy for all the Crown Point amenities (restaurants, gas station, supermarket, airport) while you feel you’re part of a nice, small local community when you’re staying there.
Wide range of produce for breakfast.
We were in one of the smaller rooms which was slightly cramped in places and a little dark, but really we can’t think of anything else remotely negative to say!

We stayed here as an overnight as we arrived in Tobago late at night and were then travelling onward the next day. Native Abode was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Stein, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Our room was great - comfortable bed, excellent shower, balcony, and small kitchen area. Breakfast was simply awesome - fruits and bread and a really lovely array of cooked vegetables (what with me being vegan). Stein gave us a little tour of his fruit garden which was lovely. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A 5 minute drive to and from the airport, Store Bay and Pigeon Point. The room was very comfortable, clean and felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and Stein (the hotel manager) was very knowledgeable, providing us with suggestions and tips of places that we could visit during our stay. We were allowed to do an early check in and later check out without worry to accomodate our flight. This helped maximize our time and allowed us some wiggle room to get that last bit of beachtime before leaving. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Excellent staff, allowed early check in.
Breakfast was great, natural juices.

The breakfast was outstanding. The fruits ... soursop, mango, pineapple, watermelon and assorted juices.
Fresh fruits in our room everyday.
Cable tv ... Netflix ...
We had an enjoyable experience such that we extended our stay by seven days,

Neat, clean & great service. Stein was the highlight of our stay taking care of all our needs. He picked us up from the airport and drove us and picked us up at our request promptly. Would definitely recommend staying at the Native Abode.

What a great place to stay in Tobago. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The owners of this B&B know what hospitality is all about. Everything was perfect.

The only downside to this place are the stray dogs that roam the area and bark all night. Bring ear plugs because the place is beautiful and well worth the stay. It is an amazing place!

The staff was extremely courteous and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Amenities were wonderful!!! Overall it is an excellent place to stay and I would love to visit again.

Friendly, helpful, and obliging staff. Clean and comfortable, with excellent breakfast. Quiet, 'Caribbean' residential area, with polite and friendly residents. Completely safe. Need to use taxis (reliable and reasonable), hired car, or rent bikes, or walk a lot!.

We booked an 8-day stay based on other reviews on Expedia and TripAdvisor and were not disappointed in the least. Our room was impeccable and every last thing had been thought of down to the 3D glasses in case we wanted to watch a 3D movie. The breakfast was delicious and loved the choice, especially being able to enjoy local specialities and fruit from the garden.
If you have a chance, ask Stein to show you round his pride and joy: the garden. It's just wonderful!
We enjoyed our daily walk into Crown Point to go to Store Beach or Pigeon Point, but if you're after somewhere with a pool, or just next to the beach, Native Abode isn't for you. If you're looking for a truly relaxing, restorative vacation with Tobagonian hospitality, this is it!

We really liked Native Abode! Quiet location on a side street in Bon Accord. It's not right on the beach or anything, but we rented a car and spent most of our time on the other side of the island anyway. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful too. Room was very clean and we liked the small balcony we had too.

Staying at Native Abode was the highlight of my very short trip to Tobago! Stein picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry terminal at no charge and was extremely friendly and hospitable throughout my stay. He was always smiling, happy to help, and prepared a delicious breakfast the next morning. The backyard has a beautiful garden, and the area is quiet and residential. I borrowed one of the hotel's free bikes to get around Pigeon Point, which was also a great experience. I had lost my room key somewhere along the way, but Stein didn't give me any trouble for it and didn't even charge me to get it replaced. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would love to stay here again!

The best place to live in. It is a home far away from home.Stein was a wonderful gentleman who goes beyond to help you. I admired his hospitality and gesture.

Loved this little hotel. The service was impeccable and the rooms were neat and clean. For the size of the hotel, I was amazed by the level of technology in each of the rooms. There was a perfect tiny kitchenette in the room and a small balcony as well. The breakfast included with the room was wonderful. They have a cute little garden at the back of the hotel as well. overall a great experience.

I was there last year. I enjoyed my stay there so much that I returned this year. The owners are very hospitable and the rooms are first class. There is also the added bonus of allowing free calls to the U.S and Canada.

My husband and I stayed here 12/01 to 12/03. We loved it so much that we changed our flight back home twice just so we could enjoy paradise a little bit longer! Stein and his sister (I didnt catch this sweet persons name) were so accommodating. They treated us like royalty and made our stay very memorable. The rooms were spotless, bed was comfortable and my favorite were free calls back home to Texas! I was able to call my mother each day to check on my dogs. The room looks better than the pictures.I could never get tired of the home cooked breakfast each morning. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. We are looking forward to many more stays at the Native Abode!

What can I say more than all the other reviews for this wonderful guesthouse. It is a family run home and everyone there is kind and helpful, willing to transport visitors to the beach, for shopping in the area. The breakfasts are all from local food; most of the fruit on their fruit plate are frm their garden. I loved being able to stroll through the Bon Accord village neighbourhood and see the homes and lifestyle of the people there, and I was perfectly secure. Read all the other glowing reviews, and I will echo them.

There is a reason that the Native Abode is the #1 B&B in Crown Point, Tobago. My wife and I enjoyed our accommodations so much, we extended our stay an extra 3 days, which was the first time we've ever done that in 25 years of marriage. Having read the previous reviews, we decided to see what all the fuss was all about. I must say that the reviews were all spot on. Please read the previous reviews about the Native Abode that comment on the amazing amenities that Kaye, Stein and family provide. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first trip to Tobago and because of the excellent service provided by Stein and family it will definitely not be the last. The hotel is located within walking distance of Store Bay and Pigeon Point beaches (10-20 mins) and if you don't like walking then a local taxi will get you there for $3.00TT (50 cents US). Stein even took us there on our first day. The hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Wi Fi was always available - free of charge. Cable TV and Netflix also available. And if you knew how to program the remote Stein had a lot of local events available for viewing - calypso shows, steelband concerts etc. Breakfast which came with the room was excellent (spectacular might be a better word). We loved the local cuisine. Only wished dinner was available. Also, the hotel is just a short distance from the airport (about 5 minutes) and even so we never heard any noise from any airplane - only the roosters early in the morning.

We stayed here for a weekend while going to a friend's wedding. The airport transfers, a welcome amenity, were done by Stein - the manager. He was very pleasant and accommodating.
The room was clean, cosy (small but comfortable and well-appointed). We loved the included Netflix and wi-fi as I was still working while there.
Breakfast was very nice though the portions a bit small - I was still hungry afterward but there are many food options nearby.
All in all it was still a very restful, pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Very amenable manager who was very engaging and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast and dining area. In spite of a very comfortable room still consider the rate pricey. Location was a major drawback as there are so many hotels closer to the beaches and other attractions.

Very nice! My family and I were not disappointed. The inside of the hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Free internet for your laptop or device, international calls, breakfast, and the staff were real nice. The hotel was near two beautiful beaches and several stores/restaurants. I would stay again.

family owned business, great staff, food, comfort, cant go wrong with staying here. approx 20min walk to the junction and to the beach but staff willingly offered to drive there. the taxis are only like $1US to get to the beach per person. the rooms were comfy and had everything you need for the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 5-day stay at Native Abode. If you are looking for a beachfront hotel with a lot of activities at your doorstep then skip Native Abode. If you are in search of comfortable well-appointed rooms, excellent service and an amazing breakfast in a B&B in the middle of an actual neighbourhood then book Native Abode!
Several people mentioned to us that this B&B was not located in the safest of neighbourhoods but we never had any evidence to support this - don't worry!
The Goods:
- breakfast offers a selection of fish, eggs sausage, salad, fruit, teas, coffees and bake prepared for whenever you request
- free wifi and international phone calls in your room
- friendly owners who always offered a ride when we asked how best to get somewhere
- in-room snacks and spring water available
- within walking distance of Crown Point restaurants
- although the decor is not what I would choose for my own home, it was functional, very clean and the beds were comfortable
- both the A/C and overhead fan in our room worked well and kept us northerners a comfortable temperature
I would happily return.

My wife & I stayed for a week this March in this lovely, friendly, clean hotel.
We are so glad we booked at this hotel with its beautiful relaxing room & wonderful garden with a service from Stein & family that is second to none.
The icing on the cake was a friendly personal local transport service from Stein & a delicious vegetarian option breakfast from Kaye.
Truly a home from home, we didn't want to leave!
Thankyou
Steve & Carla xx

I can not boast enough about the superb service we received at the Abode Bed & Breakfast. From the pre-planning of our vacation, to our arrival, during our stay, and to our return home, the family owned hotel provided a quality of service that will forever be remembered.
The porches in the room may not offer a scenic view of the beach but nonetheless I found it to be the most relaxing place on earth. The room was impeccable and quite relaxing after a week of partying. However, what truly made this a quality stay was the customer service by Stein and his family. Always ready to help with a smile on their face, I wouldn't have traded this place for any resort location.
The hotel is in a prime location with walking distance to Pigeon Point beach and other area restaurants.
The breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Thank you for making the second leg of our trip the best possible one. Can't wait to return!
