Excellent(669 Reviews)4.2
the location is awesome. great food within walking distance. also easy walk to the plaza de mayo and colon theater. they also had a nice breakfast in the mornings. Only negative was the building itself. I am guessing it is an old building, you could hear all the water in the walls people taking showers and flushing toilets etc. so it wasnt the most quiet place in the world but overall this was a nice place for a decent price and convenient location.
4.2
The San Telmo is a nice property but the rooms lack things like outlets, and the rooms need some attention. The area is also a bit desserted.
4.2
Almost no room amenities. No water, coffee, English TV/Cable channels etc. Just a bed with two lamps etc.
4.2
Hotel location is pretty central, 3

Okay location near some other hotels and walking distance to subway and Plaza de Mayo. It's a clean and comfortable hotel, but not fancy. Breakfast is fairly basic... fruit and pastries, but okay. Good value overall.
4.2
The staff were very helpful and eager to please. Problems were dealt with promptly.
4.2
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. But the drainage in the shower was blocked and water didn’t go away as smooth as it should. Light was too dim in the room.
4.2
The staff were extremely approachable and friendly.

The staff is bot helpful, unfriendly perhaps
4.2
Very nice place, close to many restaurants and shopping.
4.2
The bathroom had a leak from the shower towards the room
4.2
located just a few blocks off 9th of july avenue, its fairly close to a lot of things... being about equally distant between some of the big attractions...but its a very big city, so be prepared to walk or get transportation. a good business type hotel

The location was great and there was easy access to a number of places I enjoyed going to.
4.2
This is a good hotel. Centrally located. Near the main square & the downtown. Line 8's bus stop is near the hotel, which goes to the EZE airport. Staff are helpful.
4.2
The front desk receptionists are very polite and friendly and allowed us to store luggages when we arrived before check in time. Highly recommend!
4.2
Location is very good. But there is no water cubs and paper provided in the room. Asked says this is a typical south america 3 star hotel services. Others are fine, room is clean and have a safe box in the room.

Genial

The staff was great, the propriety is clean, the beds are comfortable. Many neighborhoods are easily accessible.
4.2
Staff were pleasant and helpful. I liked the drinks fridge in the lobby. Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint.

If you're looking for a nice basic hotel near the center of Buenos Aires then this is a good option. The reception staff allowed me to check in early as I arrived on an overnight flight.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want luxury, you won't find it here but it definitely meets the demands of most travellers.

The Hotel is ok for the price, need some little touch ups, bathroom paint is really needed, the soap dish in the shower was missing, water in the shower did not drained properly,I told those two issues to the cleaning lady,I was told that she was going to inform maintenance, they never fixed nor contacted me regarding the issue, towels were really old, internet was not that great, lots of restaurants in the area, location is good, i would stay in there again & I would recommend it, can not beat the price, good service.
thanks

Fantastic stay, most major attractions within walking distance. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable always willing to help. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was poor and when I woke up there was no water to take a shower. Staff said “sorry for the inconvenience.
4.2
Great bed really nice clean room, location close to a lot of attractions
4.2
Travelling on business I look for convenience, clean sheets and hot water. This hotel fulfilled those c4iteria, offering free Wi-Fi too. Did I miss anything? The absence of a tea/coffee-making facility and a fridge, given the exhausting temperatures at the time of my visit.
I was disappointed at the directions given to exchange facilities -a very unfavourable rate offered first up. Breakfast offer is modest.
4.2
Really nice hotel, clean rooms and nice and quiet. Perfect location right in the centre of Buenos Aires. Nice big, comfortable bed. The breakfast offering could be better.
4.2
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful!! Rooms were kept clean promptly daily!!

Told had shuttle, when arrived called hotel told, they did not have a shuttle had to pay $70.00 US for taxi. The air conditioning was not working properly, the lamps in the room did not work. Told receptionist he replied what was he suppose to do. Call again told to turn the unit off and then back on still did not work.
4.2
The breakfast was only cold food and didn’t really satisfy. It was advertised as “breakfast buffet” but not nearly as good as that sounded. Room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Great location.
4.2
During my 9 night stay, bed linen were not changed and there is no trash bin in the room. The staff on the lobby did not have too much useful info. You could hear all the sounds from neighboring rooms.
4.2
This hotel is closed to restaurants and shops and to city center. Beds are comfortable and staff were helpful.

Im lost as to how this hotel receives an 8.4 Very Good rating!I arrived early morning to non-enthusiastic welcome. Not even a grunt! Quite poor really. The agent advised the hotel was full and couldnt check me in. I thought it was strange to have a full house during low season. Strangely he then said there is a room on the 8th floor but you need to pay an extra night because it was before 2pm. Then, another room suddenly showed up and all of a sudden, the hotel was not so full and rooms were apparently available. I was so tired from an 18 hour flight + that l just said give me a room.. The turns out to be horrendous. Bathroom would not open/close as the toilet was in the way. There was no heating, as the AC unit was disabled to heating (keeping costs down maybe). The black mould around the shower recess was disgusting. The toiletries where opened and previously used! The walls of the rooms was wafer-thin. Noise from flushing toilets was annoying, not to mention snoring from other guest rooms. I promptly asked for a rom-change next day. When l mentioned l was in 817 to the front desk, they knew very well it was a very undesirable noisy room. I was given room 306. Again, paper-thin walls in a not so comfortable room with the noisiest cluttering noises and clunking thuds from the lift well. I asked for another room. Third room change! This was not shaping up to be a good stay. I gave up changing rooms as l figured this entire hotel needs to be knocked down. Wifi was bad

It’s a nice place to stay a couple of days but for the price, they can do better.
4.2
Truly 3 stars. Bed was really good. Door to bathroom couldn't close without hitting the toilet seat. Staff was very professional and helpful. TV didn't work. And continued beeping sound in the hallway of 8th floor.
4.2
Hotel room is comfortable with a very comfortable big bed, staff are helpful to help us fridge the leftover and help us reheat them. Good room with cheap price!
4.2
The breakfast wasnt very much. Just bread with butter, spread cheese, jam and chocolate spread. Apples and bananas. And some sweet crossaint like bread.
4.2
Apartment hotel in a more business district of Santiago. Very close the the red line metro and a main road (good for taxi or late night buses). Part of a condo building, we we were on the 24th floor. Front desk is open 24hrs but they don't speak English. Still we managed to communicate and got all our needs taken care of. Breakfast is served on the ground floor around the corner from the building in a regular cafe. Good standard breakfast of breads, meats, cheese, and pastries. Highly recommended and I'm glad we stayed there.
