It was disappointing, very disappointing☹️!! We arrived late and needed a code to enter. It didn't work☹️. We tried to contact the listed emergency number, it didn't work either! We contacted Hotels.com and spoke to a friendly lady. There was good talk, but no solution came. Another guest at the hotel came out of the hotel door (had to get something in his car) and wanted to help us. It resulted in him not being able to enter the door again☹️. My wife and I found another hotel that was open to guests. Now we have paid for 2 nights, but have only received 1 night☹️. How do we get our refund from Hotel Inn Design Montluçon🙏??? Do yourself a favor, don't use the Hotel Inn Design Montluçon if you're staying overnight☹️.

When we walked into the room, the entire place was clean and all the furniture was in a good condition. The main problem was the smell of a harsh chemical or cleaning agent. We left the window open to help clear out the smell. After a while when we noticed the smell was not dissipating, we went downstairs to ask to see if there is another room available. The lady at the desk said that the woman who cleans the room had "perfumed" the room and that she'll see if she could find another one. We therefore went back upstairs to check the second option and it was worse than the first, with the window opening to the back of the front-building sign which had entrapped a large pool of murky rainwater that had a bunch of cigarette butts in it. We went back down (take note, no elevator) and said it's worse and she said that yes, it was cleaned by the same woman so she does perfume the rooms. The other thing is, we were traveling with an elderly family member who had a room next to ours -- that room had NO smell and was in fact quite comfortable. Last, but not least, when I woke up early in the morning to use the restroom, there was a VERY STRONG cigarette smoke/smell wafting through some vent or duct into the bathroom somehow! I do not know how, but I don't doubt someone was smoking as we saw evidence of cigarette usage by patrons or otherwise when we checked the other room. It was terrible and added to the already harsh never-fading smell in our room. Will not stay here again.

This was a really nice hotel for a short stay - we were there overnight. The staff were really welcoming and efficient. The room was small (it was cheap) but in good condition with a well presented ensuite and a lovely shower. There is a supermarket over the road for provisions and fuel. The centre of the town is close, medieval and has lots of restaurants some of which were open on a Sunday evening. A great way to break a journey to the south of France.

Nightmare getting in as 24hr check in not working and phone number on door not working. Spent an hour on phone to Expedia to try and sort out. You were supposed to give me a £25 refund am still waiting!!!!

Great overnight stop at this hotel, clean, welcoming and comfortable. Close to restaurants and food outlets. Good breakfast in morning.

An excellent place to stay overnight or longer. Room size adequate, clean and comfortable. Anyone unable to tackle stairs should be aware that they need a ground floor room as there is no lift. There are no drink facilities in the room but there is a vending machine in reception. Unfortunately, the receptionist forgot that it was Sunday when she gave us the start time for breakfast and so we had to leave without enjoying a start to the day.

Stay over whilst travelling from Barcelona to Caen, close to lovely old town for dinner, The only negative was the bathroom smelled of smoke

We were here to visit our daughter. It was perfectly functional for what we needed - clean, nice staff, decent shower. It's in the middle of the commercial centre and a lot of he guests were people working but given we just needed a place to lay our heads rather than spending lots of time in the hotel it did the job at a good price.
