About this house rental

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Besides the awesome water views from the front porch, this house is walkable to everything Sister Bay has to offer! The beach is literally steps away where you can soak up the sun and rent kayaks and paddle boards. Walk to some of the best restaurants in Door County - Chop, Lure, Husby's, Al Johnson's, Grasses, Sister Bay Bowl, Wild Tomato, Boathouse and several coffee shops. Take your chairs to the amphitheater and listen to live music or watch movies on the big screen during the summer. There is also a playground for the kids to play, The marina is also a short walk where you can watch the beautiful sunsets or rent your own boat or go on one of the tour boats.

This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The family room has vaulted wood ceilings, dry bar, a large fireplace and open concept so everyone can enjoy each other. This house has a large front porch with a gas firepit so you can enjoy the lake and all the action and also a private back yard with large deck and fire pit for when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. It's the best of both worlds and is perfect for families of all ages.

5 stars, absolutely LOVED this property. I've grown up coming to Door County and this was the PERFECT place to bring several friends who were visiting for their first time. The property was stocked with all essentials including shower soap, full kitchen with utensils etc, and they even left a fire wood starter kit. We had 6 guests (3 couples) and it comfortably fit all of us. The location truly could not be better and is walking to distance to all the fun Sister Bay has to offer. This stay would be perfect for a group of friends, families, couples, or truly anyone. I am typically the one who books stays for vacations with our friends and I was extremely impressed with this accommodation.

It smelled clean and was well decorated. Rooms were nice, patio and yard with fire and grill was great. Very relaxing. Plenty of supplies available such as dishes, soap, toilet paper, etc. We really had a great time and hope to return next year. perfect location.

We’ve stayed in many, many rental homes and this one was by far the cleanest and most well appointed in an unbeatable location. Staying over Labor Day, we got to enjoy the festival a few steps from the house and fireworks over Sister Bay viewed right from the front deck. It was so convenient to have beach chairs available for our adventures. From super comfy beds to the beautiful lake view, this place was perfect.

This place was absolutely the best choice we could’ve made. She was awesome from the start. Great communication. It was the perfect location. We did not need our car unless we left Sister Bay. She has everything you could ever need. We had a wonderful time and are definitely staying there when we come back. Which we will!!! Not one negative thing to say!

The owners have provided a lovely, well equipped, well maintained, comfortable & welcoming property to enjoy a wonderful stay in Sister Bay Door County, WI. Communication was great. It is just a short walk to the water where you can launch your kayak, enjoy the beach or explore the downtown area, restaurants and shopping. There is a large playground at the waterfront beach. Everything in the rental was very well labelled and the rental expectations were well defined and reasonable. If you like to cook/eat-in, we found the kitchen equipment & appliances clean and well equipped and the seating for 6 at the dining table just off the kitchen was comfortable. All the beds were very comfortable. The generous amount of comfortable seating in the family room, along with the gas fireplace, made for a very nice place to relax and socialize with family & friends. The 2 bathrooms were modern and updated. Try the E-bikes from the rental place just outside of the Peninsula State Park entrance. There are nice trails to ride them on, in the park.

The property was clean and very accommodating. The beds were super comfortable and the whole place was cutely decorated. Location was great, close to many things to do. We were there over the winter but would definitely come back in the summer to take advantage of the proximity to the water. It was a great weekend getaway!

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 6 adults for a late summer getaway! House is beautiful, well- stocked and location was excellent. We could easily take a stroll along the water each morning and walk to restaurants/bars in the evening. Daytime was spent shopping in the Sister Bay and surrounding towns, hiking the state park, boating. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room throughout the home. We enjoyed making a bonfire in the back pit for night- time s'mores. Highly recommend and we hope to return!

We loved our stay at this property. The supplies were great - plenty of tissues, toilet paper and personal products which is really nice. The kitchen was well stocked which was great for eating in. What a great location, in town across from the park and Lake - perfect! You can walk to everything Sister Bay has to offer, and it is a short, beautiful drive to anywhere else in Door County. The yard is private with a nice deck, gas grill and fire pit (which we did not use because … snow ;-) The house is so comfortable, tastefully decorated and beautifully organized for guests… the kitchen is well stocked and the cabinets and light switches are labeled - which is a thoughtful touch! Great floor plan with open kitchen/DR/LR and all new appliances. Beautiful fireplace with very cozy, comfy and plentiful seating area with a huge TV. There is a dining area, bar area with wine fridge and nice big windows overlooking yard and filling the house with lots of natural light and sunshine! The bathrooms are updated and the beds and bedding were literally some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed at in a house or hotel… the mattresses, bedding and pillows are very high quality. The house is even better than pictured and the owners were so nice and responsive. They made everything easy and enjoyable. We will stay here again.

The location was fantastic. It is right behind a park on Sister Bay. It's also only a block off main street and close to restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wished the wind hadn't been so strong so we could have had a a fire in the backyard pit. The front deck has a bar height table with a gas fire circle and did get to use that once. The owners are very responsive to questions.

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our stay at your lovely home. This place had all the amenities and more. Very clean and plenty of room. We loved the updated kitchen and baths. The location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and water views was the best. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!
