Town: Long Melford is a former medieval wool town, and is known as the 'Antique Capital of Suffolk', with a wealth of antique shops, art galleries, tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops, found down the wide tree-lined main street. The chocolate-box picturesque village of Lavenham is just 5 miles, and Sudbury is 3.5 miles, which makes this village an ideal location to explore Constable Country.
