Nothing. Simply awful
Dirty place. Trash bins full, sheets and pillows clearly not cleaned. Hair and dirt in toilets and showers. The personnel at reception hardly talk to you. It is cheap but no price is low enough to justify this. I found another accommodation after one night and when I went to pick my stuff my card was not working and there was no one at reception.
I think workers stay there long term.

Nothing
Incredibly dirty, areas around door handles seemed to have accumulated dirt over years on them, showers and toilets were dirty, kitchen was smelly and dirty. Staff barely turned their heads to talk to us and when we arrived at 19pm, they hadn't even made our beds, which eventually took them an hour. Would have been nice to know that there is no breakfast on Sundays _before_ paying for stay with breakfast.

Super dirty hostel, the toilets were really disgusting. Meet 3 members of the staff, only one was nice. The other 2 were quite rude.

there was bed bugs and it was so dirty as well as expensive

Nothing
The kitchen was really thirty, the bathroom aswell. You cant cook because you must have your own Pan and kitchen stuff. On Sunnday is no breakfast avaible, but you have to pay it. You can only eat outside. The TV is outside as well.

The people were friendly
The place was a hovel
4.0 / 5.0
Seemed like a good place. Unfortunately I came at a bad time and there wasn't much work but I talked to people who came at a good time of year and the hostel seems to give people jobs pretty easily when it's in season. If you're able to work it has everything you need
Beds could have been a little more comfortable but if you're working all day those beds probably feel just fine

Nothing.
Dirty stairs. Rude staff x2 did not want to serve me. I had to wait for a girl to induct a staff member before she would serve me. Owner was yelling at customers in office for not paying on time. Backyard was like a prison. Orange concrete and steel walls. Not cosy in the slightest. Kitchen utensils are hire only. Worst backpackers in Australia.

Very friendly staff, big kitchen, free breakfast INCLUDED, in an already cheap hostel
Did not try out the showers but other hostels have better sanitary facilities

Guy at reception was nice. Pretty much the only positive thing.
Booked weeks ago, when we got there we were told the place was fully booked and we had to go to their other hostel where workers usually stay. They gave us some stuff to cook with, not enough for three so we ended up skipping dinner. Place was dirty and noisy. Noise continued until late and we were woken up multiple times by people banging on other doors and slamming doors. Noise started again early in the morning. They only provided one sheet per person (some were dirty), no doona covers (doonas were not clean either). There were dead insects on the beds and the mattress were old and could feel all the springs. Bathrooms were dirty.
Supposedly breakfast was included from 8,30 (pretty late for someone traveling, but we decided to wait for it). Only one option for breakfast which involves bacon. Being vegetarians we asked if we could have something else, halloumi or anything else. Not possible so we were left with tomatoe slices and two pieces of lettuce on bread which took about half an hour to be served.
I have travelled quite a bit and this was def one of the worst places I’ve seen.
