What breakfast?
Not to be able to get fresh air and or see outside without compromising privacy was a big issue. No undercover parking, or dedicated parking spot. No table and chair to eat at so uncomfortable. Washing up difficult as no sink apart from in toilet. Only app was netflix. SBS on demand and abc iview which cost nothing could be added for those who aren’t Netflix fans. Noise and loud voices from living area next door and above, slamming doors made wall shake.
All this is ok, but the nightly price doesn’t support lack of above. Lovely and clean and comfortable beds and bathroom.

Lovely inviting home and room we were offered with a lovely host. A lot of effort has gone into creating the rainforest feel.

The location was quiet and peaceful. Lovely areas to sit outside an relax. Very close to key locations but nice to be out of town and not above a pub.

A lovely quiet and comfortable property where I can stopover with my small dog whilst driving from Brisbane to Yeppoon.

We spent 2 nights at Helene's accommodation. It is very comfortable a home away from home. Bed was very comfortable, shower was good, air-conditioning works well plus having a fridge was very handy.
Our dog was able to have a run around the well secured back yard and there is a big park at the back of the premises.
Would definitely stay there again no hesitation.

Helene was a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. The place was very comfortable for my family and I, and helped us to recharge after our adventures in the surrounding areas. The location is also very convenient, close to food and local attractions, and parking was very handy.
We were very happy with our stay, only thing I would note is that if staying for more than 3 or so nights not having access to kitchen facilities would make things a bit trickier. For a weekend/long-weekend it's ideal.

Helene the owner was welcoming and so easy going and thoughtful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of lovely spots in the garden for relaxing.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Very clean and tidy and ample provisions.
The long life milk provided - what's wrong with real milk. More importantly though, a converted garage with an outlook of the driveway, double door shed and over-filled trailer do not make it a rainforest retreat. The only bit of greenery was blocked off and looked uninviting. Also, you need to oil that incredibly noisy door - or not use it frequently while guests are sleeping. We were woken both night and morning by someone opening/closing it.

We are return guests to the Maryborough's Rain Forest Retreat.
.
This little gem is in the perfect position just on the outskirts of Maryborough.
We really enjoy the relaxed calm atmosphere as do our pets.
The units are very good value for money.
Lush shady gardens surround the property to give the modern units quiet and privacy.
No traffic noise or glaring street lights through the curtains of a night.
The air con is super chill and quiet.
All the beds are very comfy with pillow tops, crisp clean sheets and snuggly blankets.
Full size, soft and fluffy towels.
All quality mod cons are in the room - large TV -( Netflix and Disney) kettle, microwave, toaster and full size fridge.
Cutlery and crockery are supplied.
There is a table and chair set in the room for meals as well as a handy writing/office desk.
There are quiet relaxing spots in the enclosed yard to sit with our pets as well
as there being an easily accessible council common area easement to walk our dog out the back of the property
The bath in our room was huge. There is even Epsom Salts supplied to make your bath super relaxing.
Quality hair care, body wash and hand wash were included.
Everything is clean and in excellent condition.
Tasteful and interesting art adorns the walls.
Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are supplied.
Lastly but not least, Helene is a wonderful host.
She made us feel welcome and ensures our stays are a relaxing getaway.
We highly recommend the Maryborough Rain Forest Retreat.
There was nothing not to like.
