All in all, it was fine.

Great location for the beach and a few good restaurants, and Wattson was great at recommending and arranging several activities.

The room seemed a little tired. We could have used a bench or table for our bags, and a chair or two for sitting. The bathroom door slid left to right to close, tended to slide open after it was closed, and was noisy.

Koh Lanta verzaubert!

Die Unterkunft war sauber und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte auf jeden Fall. Dusche hat super funktioniert.

Die Anlage war ein wenig versteckt und die Zimmer sind sicherlich in die Jahre gekommen. Eine weitere Ablagefläche im Zimmer wäre top. Für 2 Nächte aber völlig ok!

Très bel hôtel à quelques minutes de la plage. Très grande chambre, très propre, joli jardin. Nous y étions tellement bien qu un nous sommes restés une nuit de plus.

La musique venant d un bar non loin nous a gêné pour dormir la première nuit. Oreiller trop dur.

Alles. Die gesamte Anlage. Die Zimmer. Das Personal. Super süße Anlage in ruhiger Lage. Zum Strand nur 5 min. Das Personal war immer so nett und aufmerksam. Bei jedem Problem sofort geholfen. Eines meiner besten Aufenthalte

Entspannte Unterkunft Nähe Longbeach

Die Lage ist wirklich super. Man ist in direkter Nähe zum Longbeach und kann einfach zu Fuß zum Strand laufen. Host ist auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Egal ob Scooter, Schnorchel-Ausflug oder Fähre. Kann über ihn gebucht werden. Bei Fragen wurde uns sofort geholfen.

Am Wochenende kann es durchaus etwas lauter werden durch Bars und Musik in der Nähe. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, sollte das auf jeden Fall beachten! Bett war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hart. Aber das ist wirklich eine Kleinigkeit.

Fantastic resort in a very good location, very recommended !!!

Fantastic resort, close to many bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. The room is very big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, Wifi connection is very good, and the room has a very nice and clean bathroom. The staff are very communicative and nice, super friendly, and were always attentive and asked if I needed any help with anything. I really felt at home :) I loved this place !!! I will come back for sure when I am back to Koh Lanta.

Better than expected

Well kept place, nice small hotel run by a family. Rooms are good size, several hammocks available for public use plus your personal hammock on every balcony - very sweet. Comfy beds. Close to the sea and some nice cafes/bars/restaurants around. New aircon and fridge. OMG! - silent toilet seat :) Shower is nice, everything you need is there. Thanks!

It is a bit tucked away hotel, so be aware. Wildlife around you - lots of mosquitoes and ants, singing (my god, very loud! but amazing) cicadas, some geckos. No sea breeze, as you are a protected by trees/forest so it can get v hot during a day. Get yourself a mosquito repellent plug-in and you should be fine.

Everything was great. Beds were comfy, the bungalow and especially bathroom was super clean, the location was very close to the beach, and I have to agree with all the other reviews - the owner Wattson is super friendly and helpful. Without being asked, he made sure our bus ride back to Krabi was legit (we didn't book via the accommodation which in hindsight was silly) and talked to the driver when we were picked up to ensure we'd be dropped off at the right place. Great stay!

Clean accommodation at a nice beach

- everything was clean - the owner was really nice, friendly and chatted with us - he helps booking trips, tours, scooter etc. - we were able to stay a night longer when we requested

- within 3 days the rooms were never made (especially the trash could have been taken out). But I guess if you ask for it, it's done in a sec:)

Clean, quiet, great hosts, and only a couple minutes walking distance to the beach!

Wattson and his family are excellent hosts. They take pride in the facilities which are kept very clean with everything in working order. Wattson is very welcoming and provides great food recommendations as well as arrangements for transport. We loved walking to the incredible beach and restaurants within just a few minutes walking distance, sitting on our porch in the mornings and evenings watching the birds, and chatting with Wattson! The rooms and property were so quiet, we got tons of sleep while we were there! I definitely recommend staying here!

I can't think of anything to improve - Wattson and his family do an excellent job!

Our stay was wonderful. Wattson is a great host, always friendly and very helpful. The bungalows are newly renovated, everything is new and very clean. Room cleaning excellent. The complex is a few meters away from the main road, so you always have peace and quiet, but you can be at the beach and delicious restaurants in 2 minutes. We extended our stay with no problems what was really nice. If you want to stay at Longbeach, go here :)

Mosquito nets would be good, better bring your own, on an island there are mosquitos everywere.

Amazing

Can’t recommend this lovely place enough. Watson and his family are so kind and caring this was honestly one of our favourite places we have stayed in our 2 months in Thailand. We were in one of the newer rooms but got shown the other options and honestly there isn’t much difference they are both great. It was so clean and we loved the shower in the bathroom such a luxury after some of the showers we have used. The location is perfect, few minutes walk to the beach, fruit stools, a shop and restaurants very close by but also feels very in the middle of nowhere set in a beautiful garden. Lying in the hammock morning, afternoon and night listening to the birds was so relaxing. Watson was also so helpful and helped us book a tour and our onward travel.

We absolutely loved Toongyoong Resort. Fabulous rooms, super clean and spacious, the bed was so so comfortable,we miss it already. Fresh bottled water every day, wonderful hot shower. Everything you needed and more. This was by far the best place we stayed on our 4 months of travelling across Thailand. Watson and his family are wonderful. They really care about their customers. Would highly recommend staying here . We will 100% stay here next time we are in Ko Lanta.

Nice bungalows with a small balcony. Bed and bathroom were clean, warm water boiler and air conditioning were working reliably. Wifi is included. The owner is very nice and offers help wherever he can. The place is also in walking distance to the beach, dive shops and restaurants (although you'll need a taxi to reach the more lively regions, however, I like it quiet). In this price category, that's all I can ask for. Definitely a recommendation.

lovely private bungalow, newly decorated. very good air conditioning which always helps! good location 5 minute walk to the long beach. family owned place & watson (the owner) & his family were very welcoming and helpful, ordering taxi’s & speaking to the travel agent for us when we had some issues with transfers.

We loved our stay here! The family running this resort are so friendly and helpful, really recommend staying here! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us with transport. The room was really spacious and very clean, nice modern bathroom. Close to the beach and reggae bars.
