My family had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was lovely. Staff extremely friendly. Only thing I would say is the showers in female changing rooms in the swimming pool should have shower gel in the containers in the cubicles

Nice hotel, the room was comfy and the staff were very friendly.

Great staff. They were very pleasant and helpful. The lobby was very nice and large and we were able to get a drink at the bar and sit in comfortable seating away from the bar area which made it more relaxing.

I had stayed at this hotel before and it was great but this time everything changed. The breakfast is just ok. The bar and restaurant is quite nice. Food is average. My major complaint is they serve me a plate of old and dry dessert to my room which someone had ordered for me from USA. I left it outside my door. Well, I would not be recommending this place. They have too much business to care. So disappointed.

Clean, safe property. Access to the gym/hot tub facility was a bonus! to break up long commutes as we traveled throughout Ireland. On-site restaurant was lovely with great food including some irish based recipes served. Interesting history of hotel and this is close to many of the tourist sites including Blarney Castle. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel but our rooms did not have air conditioning- it got stuffy at night. Location is a 15 minute drive from all the activity and sights of Galway - when we booked we thought it was a short walk away.

Top notch facility.

Had a pleasant stay for a concert and would return

Cupboard had a cup of peanuts and garbage under the bed. Restaurant served gluten when asked for gluten free (celiac). Did speak with the manger and he was very accommodating and apologetic. Pipes squealed when water was turned on in bathroom. Wasn’t the nicest but staff were friendly.

Property is very dated and needs a refurb.

Beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious with two chairs and a desk. My only complaint was there were three of us and they left towels and water for two. They quickly brought another set of towels and water when asked. Easy access to places in Limerick.

Lovely hotel close to University of Limerick excellent food great comfortable rooms friendly staff relaxed atmosphere

Overpriced for what you get - tired and dated needs money spent on it.

After getting home late found our bed had a spring coming out the top of the mattress my wife was not happy, told staff in the morning and they didn’t seem to worried about it

Over good. Sink plumbing needed attention & the body wash pump didn't work well. Reported to staff.

Overall, a fair stay. Not as nice as the pictures lead you to believe but it wasn't anything bad. Expected more of a "luxury" vibe and it was a pretty standard hotel, seemed a little outdated to be considered "luxury" at this point. Was pretty bummed because we stayed on a Sunday and the email didn't highlight the earlier closing time for the gym and sauna so we didn't get to experience those at all, which was a bummer. The washer/dryer room was also closed after a specific time, which didn't really make sense and was a bummer, since we were staying for a short time, as it was more of a "stopping" point for the night on our drive but was looking forward to relaxing in the sauna and getting fresh clothes, neither of which we got.

This hotel was so nice! Beautiful building and wonderful rooms for our stay. Free parking was also a great perk. It is a ways from the city center if you plan on walking but with the cars was no problem at all!

me and my family booked to stay one night and was a family room for 4 adults .However the room was only designed for two adults even do my booking clearly said 4 adults.
wete only had enough tea coffee for two people and towel were also on short supply as the were only 3 towels witch was quite disappointing concerning the room for the one night was expensive. The carpets in the hotel were poorly hovered .
I also drive an electric car with i would of liked it their was a facility to charge my car from a offical electric car charger but all this hotel could provide was outdoor sockets which would take my car a very long time to charge the battery from.
Giving the fact were all be pushed down the electric cars route all hotel should have official electric car chargers buy now.

Nice comfy hotel. Fantastic old world charm as you enter. Shops right in the same precinct. Room was on the smaller side for 4 people but we managed and beds were comfy. Outside of main center so you will need a car to get in and out bit that was great for ua.

Just a quick overnight stay at Castleroy. It was very reasonably priced for one night which was the draw as we were passing through Limerick. The rooms were average; clean & decently comfy . For a quick stay it was all we needed.

The rooms have been clean and provided lots of space. Bathroom could have been a bit more clean. Breakfast was good and provided several options also for vegans & vegetarians. Hotel bar was ok, we had to wait some time for a waitress after we have been seated. My friends also used the spa area which they reported to be very good. You do not have much around the hotel but there is a small shop next to it if you need anything.
8.0
Dining options were good and the staff friendly. Nice "leisure" facilities. There were some missed opportunities and signs of age on and around the property.
