We truly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was a great, found last minute, affordable option for us, and what's most important - we were surrounded by a forest and could enjoy the nature, serenity and our privacy. It was such a joy to wake up to birds singing and have coffee on the terrace in the morning, and to watch fireflies at night while sitting near the bonfire, a truly magical experience. The place is next to Keuka lake, we drove around the whole beautiful area, visited other Finger lakes, as well as to Watkins Glen park and Ithaca. It was a perfect location for us!

Having grown up in the 70's this place really brought back memories. It was like someone put this place into a time capsule and preserved it through time. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking options, plus a Keurig carafe/K-cup coffee maker, old fashioned toaster oven and microwave. I would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a restful secluded getaway. The property mangers are great to deal with and very responsive if you have any questions. And if you decide to go out to eat there is a nice eatery (JB's Bar and Grill) only about 5 miles away that servers really good food. And of course, there is plenty of wine tasting to be had just in the area between Hammondsport and this property. Thank you for sharing your retreat.

This was a wonderful experience in the area for us with many places to visit including many wineries. The property was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. The owners communicated very clearly and ensured we had the best experience. We would certainly return to this property in the future. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer.
