The house is large and great for accommodating a big group. There was some problems though, first the house was infested with ants. You could not leave anything out for more than 5 minutes, or it was covered in ants. We killed over 100 in one night. Second the washing machine and dryer do not work. The hoses for the washer are not connected and the dryer is also not connected to the gas. The bathroom in the master upstairs does not very good water pressure, in fact it is so bad the tank to the toilet does not fill so you have to flush it with a bucket of water. These may seem like little things, but for the price and location they are big things. The parking is tight and on a hill so a little awkward, but not horrible.

Overall, it was what we needed. We had some water issues at first, but the manager was very receptive and took care of the problem right away. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only a short taxi ride to the center of town. We liked it!

The house is in a gated community on a tiny side road which taxis can find easily, but other hired drivers might have a hard time with. The property is clean and quite adequate for up to 8 people, two to a room. A few things were missing--paper towels, dish towels, extra TP--but Kevin, the manager, brought everything we needed quickly.
People do not drink the tap water in Oaxaca. While you can wash and rinse dishes with the tap water, people drink bottled water. Kevin provided this at no extra charge, even though it was not specified in the listing. We considered this to be above and beyond. In the worst case, 10-liter bottles of water can be bought a 10-minute walk away for 40 pesos each, a little over 2 dollars US. Six of us went through about two bottles a day.
The big drawback to the house is low water pressure. We had to fill the washing machine with a nearby hose for rinse cycles or else it would flash an error message and shut down. Don't program the machine for extra rinse cycles; it's not worth it.
You can use the Didi app to summon a taxi, but Didi does not pay well, so taxi drivers may ignore it at busy times. We never had a problem getting two taxis by waving at the side of the road.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed being in a gated community of approximately 8 homes and discovering the closest Barrio of Xochimilco. We walked every morning to Corasan, for the best croissant and espresso and tried La Triba-Natural, A.M. Siempre Café, Ancestral, La Cosecha Organic Market and Adana for middls eastern food. We hiked up to the Mountain View through the neighborhood.... not for the faint of heart, but a great workout.

Very pleasant house and stay. The only few problems were that there was no person at the gate and the entry code initially did not seemto work as it was supposed to. Most taxi drivers were not able to find it. Once we knew the Mercado Aorora it was easier for them.

Everything was great, however it can get a little hot in the afternoons because AC is not common in homes in Oaxaca, but the rooms have fans. Had trouble parking because we had a large van. Would recommend only taking a small-medium size vehicle. Great cozy home.

Very nice owners. Water tank wasn’t filled until second day there. Had a couple other issues with the water working during the week. Owner was responsive and did everything he could to fix it. Otherwise, a pretty good place and felt very secure staying here.

Relatively new home with excellent beds and clean rooms.
Ten minutes to the Zocalo and in a quiet neighborhood. Gated area.
