El Flamingo is a cute newly renovated little cottage, one of 15 in the Sun Harbor Cottage Community and is surrounded by beautiful oak trees. There's lots to do around this cute cottage. A short walk down the hill will lead you straight to the water and community fishing pier. The pier is lighted and has electricity along the full length of 164 feet. There is a private swimming pool for all the cottages that overlooks Aransas Bay. Guests also have access to a shaded pavilion with picnic tables, so you can grill up your best catch from the day! This is also the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the weather. You will feel at peace while taking a stroll and enjoying the unique scenery around this home. This is also a pet friendly home with a fully fenced back yard so your dog can enjoy the beautiful Rockport weather too! Also, please remember to bring a kennel for your pet while you are away from the cottage.

This cottage has a brand-new kitchen with a granite countertop and all stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with everything to meet your cooking needs. The living room has comfortable seating and a sleeper sofa so that this cottage can accommodate up to 4 people. There's also a cable TV. The dining room table seats four. There is one nicely decorated bedroom with a queen size bed and one bathroom with a shower. There is also Wi-Fi and all linens and towels provided for your convenience. The owners have added a private covered patio in the backyard, along with a charcoal BBQ grill. This home is the perfect place to take your significant other for a romantic Rockport getaway.

You're only minutes away from all the fun of downtown Rockport! Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up at for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Spend a day shopping on Austin Street and an evening walking along the waterfront. You can also enjoy fresh fish while watching the sunset over the bay at one of Rockport's many tasty seafood restaurants.

The house had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a covered trash can somewhere on the community property for dog waste, etc. The dumpster is pretty far away.

Love the fact that we could bring our dog. I love the location. The cottage itself was great. Wonderful property, wonderful staff, wonderful stay. This is the second time I've stayed at a Miss Kitty's property. Both time have been excellent.

Thank you. I feel refreshed after spending a few days at your wonderful property in Fulton Beach. It was my first time staying at that end of the beach and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The place had everything we needed and it was very quiet at night. Especially loved chilling at the pool and taking advantage of the amazing on the back-covered patio. Yard was perfect for our two dogs.

The cottage needed a covered porch as it rained 19.8 inches in 4 days!!! What a great experience and did get to the beach and sunshine last day! Coastal Bend of Texas is a true experience. Folks came by to check everything was ok with cottage. Neighbors were awesome.

Got to the property about a half hour early, not allowed to check in due to inspection. After we got in the unit the bed was shown as a Queen, but it was a Full size. Not very comfortable either. Went to back yard to walk our dog and the grass was taller the she was. Later that night we went to bed only to wake up about 4am sweating because the A/C had gone out. Could not get ahold of the maintenance department until 9am. They could not repair the unit, so we packed up and left. Gut a call later from Miss Kitty's who was the property manager and the offered to move us to another property. The rest of our stay was good once we got there, but it took about 6 hours of our 36 hour stay.

My wife, granddaughter and I found the cottage meeting all of our expectations. Very courteous and helpful Great visit! We enjoyed the quietness of the area, the wonderful pool, and the friendlinesss of the residents. Miss Kitty's provided us all of the information we needed for a great stay.

Our stay in The Flamingo was awesome ! Although only a 1 bedroom we didn't feel cramped, we had plenty of room to stretch out and even had friends over for a Fish Fry. Loved that it was only a short walk to the pool and to the pier. The location was close to some great Restaurants that we were able to enjoy. Our favorite was Moondog. Their Soft Shell Crab was delicious !! For breakfast we found that JJ's Cafe was the place to get a wonderful breakfast. My husband enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. Walmart and HEB were right by JJ's and we were able to do some shopping. We ladies love to fish and we able to go on one of the "Party Boats". We caught enough for our Fish Fry. We were sad that we couldn't stay longer but look forward to visiting The Flamingo again.
