About this house rental

This unit is a ADA unit. The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored one bedroom suite on main floor features one original window, hardwood floors, locally made Amish furniture and beautiful views of historic Berlin.

Very nicely decorated, clean space with lots of amenities. Comfortable bed with enough blankets. Exactly as described online. The owners truly care about the guest. We travel often and we have never met owners who respond to questions or needs as fast as these two beautiful people!

We were right down town Berlin. We were able to walk where we wanted to go. The accommodations were very comfortable and hopefully we will visit again in the future.

Real nice stay. The room was so clean and the decor was really nice. The bed was the highlight for me. The best sleep on the matress. Thankful for the gifts that was in the room for us to take home. Will definitely stay there again.

What a charming and ideal mom and daughter get away! Perfect location. Sweet decor. So obvious the owners love their property and so proud of it. This trip was a gift to our daughter to celebrate her early graduation and it ended up to be a gift for both of us. The owner even surprised her with a sweet personalized treat!!!! We will be back! Thank YOU!

I liked being downtown on Main Street. There were many shops within walking distance. We went next door to Boyd and Wurthman's for a fantastic breakfast. We will visit Wurthman again.

The location of the property is right in the heart of Berlin, yet it's so quiet that you feel you're in a country cottage. It is well designed, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable. Just perfect for a couples getaway.

Extremely clean with great location. There have been a couple additions since the pictures were taken. There's a divider between the bed and dining area. This has some hooks, hangers, a shelf and cubbies for some storage. There's also a dining table in with two cushioned chairs. The bed comfort was adequate but would probably be improved with a nice mattress pad between the mattress and sheets. The towels were very plush with extras available. I believe this was the smaller of the 3 units available and was accessed on the side of the building. If we stay here again, we will probably get one of the other two units. Road noise was not an issue, but there is a security light that shines in the window above the bed. The curtains weren't quite enough to block the light from coming in. We did enjoy the popcorn. Both decaffeinated and regular K-cups were provided for the Keurig.

Our Stay was completely perfect!!! Rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean with everything needed for our short stay in Berlin. Connie and Robert were wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful when we had some slight changes we needed to make to our stay at the last minute. Thanks so much and we will certainly stay again on our next trip to Berlin.

Cleanest place I have ever stayed. Suspect it has recently been 100% renovated. Great location right on Main St. Restaurant next door is very popular for breakfast so get there before 7:30 or be prepared to wait a while. Would stay here again! Shopping is in walking distance. Plenty of room for 2 people. Only negative was the EXIT sign above the door (required by law I'm sure). That red light is bright when all the lights are off and reflects off of TV and stainless steel fridge. Little ingenuity and cardboard and I wouldnt have that issue again. GREAT STAY. Parking is confusing just look for sign on the building to the East. I was looking for sign in the back parking lot so took a while to find the reserved spot. Again parking spot is right after entering the drive on your right. Sign is on the building not in the back lot.

My husband and I came up here for our 49th anniversary. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. The owners done an excellent job of communicating with us. The decor was beautiful. I would recommend this place to any couple.

Very relaxed, clean room, well supplied. Room layout very nice. Close to eating at the wurthman restaurant and no steps to deal with. We would definetly consider staying here again. Hopefully we will figure out how to communicate with the owner thru vrbo next time. We had problems with our end.

This unit is very nicely stocked with necessities. The location is very convenient to many things in the area. There were even some nice goodies for us to take home. This was our second year staying in the wurthman house and we will likely be back in the future!
