Travelled for an early wedding job, felt safe alone and the hotel and facilities were clean!

Location was great, room was super clean and nice. Staff where lovely and made it easy to check in

Was a little noisy but to be expected with a band - still slept well!

Pleasant staff, noisy from music in bar when trying to sleep on Saturday night

Perfect overnight stay

Everything was top notch, rooms were newly renovated, fresh, clean and well appointed. Staff incredibly accommodating and friendly, making it all the better. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept very well.

Lovely renovated pub.

Lovely renovation to the pub, very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean, fresh and new. Good size shower shelf which is rare.

Room and ensuite a little small for the price. Rainshower head way too big for the shower cubicle. Only hooks for towels, no rail. Limited tv as channels are streamed, not via antenna. Noise from pub on Saturday night, but expected in a pub. Tiny fridge roared too.

1. The hotel offers Pub Meals but closed the Restaurant throughout our stay from 25th to 28th of December. Rooms are designed to be hotel rooms , so no microwave. It was difficult to find eating places. A few opened on the 27th. 2. The air-conditioning system in the two rooms that we booked was malfunctioning with water dripping continuously whether the air-con was on or off. That meant putting towels and a bucket under the air-con. Difficult to sleep soundly because of the water that was dripping continuously.

Modern hotel with great beer garden

I arrived on boxing day for a four night stay. The pub was shut for two days and no keys were available and no body contacted me. As a result I had to stay elsewhere which was disappointing as I had travelled some distance to stay there

Lots of work still needed over priced

It's a brand new hotel only open for 3 days the bed was great Clean and shiny

No WiFi! the TV was not tuned all you could get was Netflix, no iorn no where to hang clothes. If you are looking for a quiet stay then this is not the place! as it's on top of a pub you get all the noise that go's with it, late night revellers leaving up till 1am as was stated by 1, after the town clock struck and chimed one am he let out with delight. Its 1 am. On check out there is no reception to speak of, and what to do with the key? no one to talk to. A lot of work still to do for it to come up to a good standerd, stayed at a lot better for Cheaper! along with no on site parking, its hit and miss we parked over 150m away from site would not like to do it in the rain. Travaled with and elderly family member lift was out and trying to get up 2 flights of was a task, and told the room they where in was smaller than the one we had, But an up side is Helens Cafe up the road has a great breakfast 👌 saving grace

The TV did not work. The Air Conditioner leaked water The bed side lights had no globes in them Fire alarm went off at 12.30 amas Faulise alarm. Wanted to charge incorrect stay rate
