We loved the location of this property….it was close to a shopping center, as well as more options in Murphys. The place was cool, quiet, and had the things we needed to cook a few meals and rest after hiking and fishing nearby. We will definitely be back!

We spent a couple nights at this cabin , it’s well maintained, clean and the location is very close to shopping markets , restaurants and Big Tree state park . The most convenient aspect for us was that the Tesla supercharger was very close to where we stayed so that was a huge relief!! The hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our cabin experience!! Arnold is a great place to rent a cabin and enjoy !!

Our 2 generation family stayed at Scott’s place and had a wonderful time! Perfect floor for a crawling 9 month old. Scott was super responsive and allowed an early check in that helped our travel plans a lot! The location is very close to the market and White Pines lake. Thanks Scott for a place to create great family memories!

Great location, close to downtown Arnold and short drive to Murphy's. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed star gazing in backyard to night

Came here for three days. Spent zero time reviewing emails. Feels like a million miles away from civilization, even though everything you could need is literally five minutes away. Very good restaurants are in the adjacent shopping center. Drive up the hill to see incredible scenery. Beautiful trees. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape from work. Host is very responsive.

Bedrooms have comfortable beds.
+Brand new Weber grill. Large kitchen adequately
supplied for preparing basic meals. Large dining table.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Scott's cabin. The cabin was clean and very comfy, the location is terrific and near everything including a great grocery store. My husband and I along with our (3) kids and the dog had the best time at the cabin and playing in the snow. The kitchen has everything you need, and we were able to have all our meals there. We definitely will come again next year! Thanks, Scott, for the most enjoyable weekend!!.

Interior wood walls, wide windows, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and plenty of combined space for cooking, dining and socializing well suited for all ages. Lots of board games and a small, eclectic library. Nearby is a market with quality produce and fresh foods. Our group includes a couple, grandparents, 2 youngsters and a playful dog; all were pleased with the cabin, the sequoias and snowy meadows. The owner is a flexible and good humored. We hope to return.

Very comfortable house with all the amenities we needed. Appreciated that the host allowed us to bring our dog - he loved it! Easy to check-in and good communication with host.

The property location was really nice. It was close to the highway in Arnold. Since we visited in winter, Big Trees State Park, the Bear Valley ski and Lake Alpine snow park were the primary attractions for us.
We found the house very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. There were lots of games in the cabinet for kids. The instructions were clear and several things were labeled to help.
We didn't have phone reception near the house and it made the check-in process a bit challenging. I recommend having the check-in instructions ready before heading to the property.

Our stay was great! The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our time in the mountains. Communication with the host was easy and the check in/ out process was very streamline. Would stay again if we visit the area.

My family & I spent Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin and had a wonderful time. It’s in a great location, close to the stores & restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed (only had to bring a big roaster pan, a crockpot & a hand mixer from home). They provided lots of necessities, such as garbage bags, paper towels, hand soap, toilet paper, etc. They even provided the distilled water for the coffee pot & coffee grounds. The bedrooms were all good sized & the living area is spacious. There’s an entire cabinet with games. The owner was very friendly & quick to respond to questions. The only negative was one of the mattresses was an older sleep number & pretty uncomfortable until we softened it a lot. This cabin is a little dated, but still really nice & clean. We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Arnold house. It is very spacious and very well-stocked. The location offers easy access to the local hikes and restaurants. The house stayed cool despite the 80-90 degree temperatures outside.
There was some confusion about the lockbox to use for entry. The owner was totally responsive to our calls and had the handyman at the house in good time. I would suggest clearer instructions about which porch door to use and the quirks of using the lockbox.
We would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great stay.

Very nice house in convenient location. Close to Calaveras big trees and other outdoor activities. Clean and comfortable home, with fully stocked kitchen (ex. pots, pans, dishes, silverware). Enjoyed sitting on the deck with nice view of the meadow across the way. Highly recommend. We are definitely interested in coming back (maybe this time to explore the area in the winter).

Relaxing getaway at a well appointed cabin. Great location, close to the market and easy to get to from Hwy 4. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend. Communication with Scott was quick and responsive. The highlight was seeing a mom bear with three cubs in the back yard. We would stay here again.

Wonderful single floor open living area, dining, and kitchen. Clean and the heat worked well on some cold and rainy days. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to the lower Sierras.

The house and area was so amazing. What a wonderful way to celebrate our moms 70th birthday -the house made it so special. We will definitely be back. Thank you

The hosts were easy to contact and they communicated well. The cabin was lovely and they also have books and photos that show the cabin's history, I found that to be really nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. Compared to other rentals around the area, this was way cheaper but still met our expectations. There's a supermarket literally down the street and sadly, our tire got a nail and needed replacement. Luckily for us, there's a tire shop 4 minutes away and we were able to get a used tire to get us home safely.

We had another great experience staying at the cabin in Arnold! Scott was quick to communicate when we ran into a small snafu. We look forward to booking another stay this summer!

We have rented this cabin 6 times over the winter. We come up for ski teams Friday to sunday night. The owner has been responsive, the property is clean and well maintained and laid out. It is cold upon arrival and we often get there late, there are plenty of blankets to stay warm while the house warms up. The kitchen has the necessities for cooking and an electric tea kettle for making distilled water. This place has been perfect for our family of 5. It's almost too good to share.

The property is centrally located. The view from the property was beautiful. A short drive brought us to the mounds and mounds of powdery snow. The cabin was clean and comfortable for all.

We arrived two days after a major storm with 42 inches of snow. The owner was very helpful answering questions as I was nervous about making the trip.
Highway 4 was mostly clear, but we did have to put on chains to traverse the last half mile on the side road. Extra shoveling and sand were required to get in the driveway, so come prepared if snow is expected.
We had no cell reception east of Angels Camp, and were happy that the wifi at the house worked.
We were able to play in the back yard after making trails with our snowshoes and had a great time in the two days we had between storms.
I agree with the earlier comments- especially appreciating the convenient, yet quiet, location and the generous room sizes.

Spent a week at this cabin and had a great time. We hoped to be out and about more, but ended up having a cozy time at the cabin during the winter storm. Really appreciated the books, puzzles, and kids toys to keep us all entertained. We were also able to get out and play in the snow on the property. Being close to big trees grocery store was really nice with two young kids.

This is not our first stay in Arnold. This house located very closely to the grocery store and highway 4. When we stayed there was winder storm with a lot of snow but we did not get stack in the house because it was so close to highway 4. In past we stayed in other houses further from highway and we were stack for 1-2 days until smaller roads where cleaned.
House was very clean, stocked with anything you need. A lot of board games. Tv with netflix.

This cabin was great. It was clean and very roomy. The common living space is one of the largest I've experienced in cabin rentals. The cabin was well stocked and the furnishings were very comfortable. Did not feel like used furnishings from the house that sometimes ends up at the cabin. Would definitely stay here again.
