Stunning location in the heart of the village. The building itself was charming with excellent facilities. Perfect for a relaxing stay.
nothing.
6.0
Simple but adequate and centrally located in the village for a few days break. Instructions to find and local info was useful. The apartment seemed clean, with a bath (with shower over) and ample hot water, and the electric heaters are quick and effective. Bus stop nearby with regular service to Penzance and Newlyn. Good pub and some other nice places to eat in Mousehole.
Various maintenance attention is needed: Several of the double glazed windows have "blown" so are permanently condensated and the slit ventilators are also missing from the windows so allowing cold draughts in. The blinds on the Velux windows above the top floor sitting room are ripped, unsightly and in need of removal or replacement, in fact the Velux needs to be swivelled open and thoroughly cleaned. The shower curtain rail is rusty. The pillows and mattress feel cheap. The outside PIR light did not work, (luckily the neighbouring one across the alleyway did).
8.0
Limited sound insulation in the property so noise was audible from next door. Generally this didn't matter as all went quiet after about 10 pm. Unfortunately, the neighbour seemed to be doing DIY or cleaning until gone midnight on the final night!

Great location comfortable great furnishings

It was very attractive and had all the facilities we needed
It was very cold to start with but it soon warmed up. We would have liked a bit of milk on arrival and there was no salt or pepper which we didn’t warrant going out to buy. Grateful for the extra bedding

The property is beautiful and in a beautiful location in Mousehole. It is 2 mins walk to the sea/harbour., shops and restaurants.
I can’t say we didn’t like anything about the property. It was excellent.

Excellent location. Helpful host. Everything there needed for a comfortable stay

Very central place to stay to enjoy all that Mousehole has to offer. Great places to eat. Excellent bus service to and from Penzance if you don't want to drive once you get a parking place. Neighbours all very friendly.
Bed could have been a little larger. But a really good place to be based for a break.

Charming location. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Owner very nice and easy to communicate with.
I loved everything about this place and hope to be able to come back many times.

Fantastic location, super clean property, great facilities
Halfway through our stay scaffolding was put up right outside the property affecting the living room and bedroom. It was very noisy as it was being put up and incredibly intrusive having men along on scaffolding right outside the windows.
It also meant our relaxing lie in didn’t happen on the last 2 days.
It would have been courteous to have informed us beforehand

The location is so convenient for all the best parts of Mousehole, you even get a bit of a view of the old harbour through the roof tops from the living room.
The bus service into Newlyn and Penzance is regular and inexpensive, so take advantage of this rather than driving around and parking. We parked the car up and left it until the trip home as the bus was so much more convenient and cheaper than driving and paying to park.
Amenities are limited in Mousehole, if you want a meal in any of the local cafes or restaurants, you should book in advance. Buy some food to take with you as buying groceries etc in the village is very limited. The netloft has an oven, stove and microwave so it's easy to make up your own meals if you go prepared. If your driving in via Penzance you will pass a few big supermarkets on the A30 to stock up before you arrive.

charming cottage right in the centre of the village

Great location
Windows need fixing

The neighbors were cool.
Two people for five nights and we were only left 1 extra toilet roll, had to buy our own.
No sponge or cloth to wash dishes or wipe counters.
No laundry soap.
No hot pads.
No face/wash cloths.
No trash bags.
No bath mat.
No foil or plastic wrap.
Hard to find! Our directions said it was 30 ft. left of the News Agent/General Store. There is no such business, it's a gift shop now! Duck Street sign is way above eye level making it hard to locate. We spent half an hour trying to find the place.
Parking is inconvenient and not always available during high tides.
The landing in front of the door needs a good scrub.
The lower floor has a musty smell--could benefit from a dehumidifier.

Nice place in the centre of the lovely village
Bed was a bit too small

The Net Loft was a classic Cornish loft in the quaint town of Mousehole, and we loved the decoration as well as the location down the alleyway. Directions were comprehensive as well as instructions for rubbish, etc. There was a homemade booklet in the lounge telling of the best areas to visit/eat in surrounding areas. Overall the facilities were clean and comfortable.
No dishwasher.

Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, bedroom downstairs so always a cool environment to sleep. Excellent wifi.
Parking in Mousehole is a nightmare. cheaper harbour car parks were always full so I had to park in main car park at a cost of £11 per night and walk up the hill each morning. I hadn’t counted on such an expense.
10.0
The position to the harbour, village, the Ship Inn, The Coastguard Hotel, the easy use of local buys to Newlyn.
Maybe be, duvet needs changing as stained, the lack of local convenience shop for necessities, i. e toilet rolls, coffee, cleaning items, but didn't spoil the stay in any way, excellent position based for visiting other areas.

Mousehole is a great place
The apartment was functional and comfortable
Property a bit tired with some rotten window frames
Not enough glasses / no wine glasses
Too little cutlery and crockery

The loft was warm, cosy and very comfortable and ideal for our winter break. It's location was very convenient in the centre of the village and close to the sea.

Location is amazing with really good public transport system to get out and about. Mousehole is a beautiful friendly place.
The apartment is a little tried in places and needs a little up lift, it's functional and nicely planned out, but just needs a little touching up in the bathroom and living space, the price we paid was fair in February, however maybe a little steep in mid summer.

Fabulous location
The property would benefit from updating. It is a little tired and some repairs were needed.

The owner allowed us to check in earlier if we arrived earlier though we got stuck in a traffic so arrived later than expected. location was excellent. Only a minute away from the beach. Very clean, bright and lovely interior. The local neighbours were very friendly. It was very comfortable stay apart from the first night. We loved a cosy village atmosphere too. We wish to return and stay the Net Loft again.
Overall, we had a comfortable stay so these are the constructive criticism. We had the sleepless first night. The double bed was quite small and felt spring everywhere on a mattress which was painful. On the Next day, we tried ti flipped the mattress. Then it was fine. We didn't understand why iit was placed the wrong way up.. Pillows could be better. They were almost flat. Doors for bedroom and bathroom creaked quite loudly. Need an oil, I think. We stayed 3 nights but only 1 and small potion of toilet rolls were provided. In the kitchen, an extra kitchen towel or kitchen rolls would be desirable.

Rooms were welcoming and authentic.
Rooms had a nice feeling but they were both tired and needed a thorough clean. “Sea View” was rather disappointing.
7.0
Good location in beautiful port.
Facilities dated, needs modernising. Television old, lacking subscription channnels. Bathroom heater not working. Fridge lacked shelves on door. some light bulbs needed changing.

Fabulous, comfortable and cosy. Felt really homely, and only a few yards from the famous Mousehole harbour where we took our morning tea out to drink in the morning. Clean and safe, lots of extras to make it Covid safe too. Abbey Net Loft had everything we needed for a lovely stay.
The loft was fabulous. Car parking in the harbour and around Mousehole itself isn't easy, and it was a bit stressful finding parking at times.
