The cabin was excellent, and the location made it easy to enjoy the local area and the check in/out process was simple and efficient.

Super clean on the inside. Comfortable master bed. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet and private location.
4.7
Well equipped, but somewhat disorganized kitchen. Lots of dishes and tumblers but if you plan to drink wine, bring your own wine glasses as there was only one wine glass! Lots of towels and nice linens. Beware the slippery bath and shower floors. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a very fine stay – it was a great place to take a walk on a spring morning and enjoy the views, relax in the big comfy living room, and have a relaxed family brunch on Sunday morning! Thank you for sharing this wonderful space!

Loved everything about it. Will look to book again

this was a great house for us. there was space for everyone. the kitchen is very well stocked and the beds comfortable. it is a cozy house with rustic decor. the location is great. there are not enough wine glasses and the towels are small but those are minor details! we would go back, especially in another season to use the screen porch!
4.7
This is a pleasant and comfortable log cabin with plenty of room for up to 7 guests. The kitchen is totally usable, but quite outdated. It is well equiped although difficult to find things do to poor organization.

We loved the main cabin room,?which had a beautiful view of the area and cozy inside. The access was easy and the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The only suggestion I give is that we have the opportunity to check with the property’s manager - as other similar rental apps have. We could only chat to let them know we had to check out a day earlier and I still got an email the next day asking if I was ready to check out. So poor communication in that area. Otherwise, the stay was very good!

Great little retreat on private, but conveniently located Quechee property.
Nice kitchen, deck with views and screened in porch.
Steep driveway and AWD is a must if snow on the ground.

We are a group of 6 adults who live to rent a house and explore an area. This house was a perfect size and located between Quechee Gorge and Woodstock Vermont for all day exploring of both areas . We also were close enough to visit the State Capitol area for a day. Great place to stay and explore
4.7
Cute cabin and had so much potential, but it was very clearly not cleaned well upon arrival. There were crumbs on the couch, filthy carpets, and it had not been dusted in months. There were cobwebs everywhere. There was a cockroach in the upstairs bed when we were stripping the bedsheets to leave. Unfortunately, the actual cabin was very cute and could be a perfect, cozy getaway. But we could not leave quick enough on our last day.

So much potential at this property. I wish it was maintained better. Lawn was over grown. Windows were falling apart. And some areas of the house were filthy. Downstairs shower was dirty, and the couch had black dust on it. After sitting with a white shirt for an hour it turned the back of my shirt black. Could be better but wasn't terrible.

Overall, our stay was great. The house is well situated for hikes in New Hampshire and Vermont and only a short drive to Woodstock. The photos on the website should be updated to reflect that what the conditions are on the outside of the house. The area around the house is really overgrown and could use a little clean up. Also, while entertaining, the owner should consider some way to secure the trash bins to discourage some of the local "non-human" population from late night raids.

I was very happy overall, great privacy, scenery, and arcitecture. Just what i needed!
4.7
Our stay was perfect, the house has everything you need for a relaxing trip and the check in and check out process was very easy. We really loved the views from the deck in the morning drinking coffee. Highly recommend this property!
4.7
The place was clean, well stocked with things you need, and oh so picturesque!

This cabin is luxurious with a rustic aesthetic. Spacious, beautiful, and flexible. We were in town for a college reunion, and the space was so lovely and convenient. And also great for sitting around the screened porch and talking with friends or enjoying a gourmet home-cooked meal in the kitchen and dining room It's even better than it looks in the photos (and that was pretty good!) We loved it.

Very relaxing and quaint cabin to stay in.
Good location...

We fell in love with this property! Charming and gorgeous!

We really enjoyed this home. It had all the kitchen tools you could need, plenty of firewood for the wood burning stove, very comfortable and cozy. We choose to sleep in the left, very comfortable King sized bed, definitely enjoyed relaxing in the large bathtub. We brought our dog and she enjoyed exploring property (though no trails, and as mention by others the 90 acres are mostly hill, there are plenty of places to hike nearby). We will be back to this location!

The property was very nice BUT the listing needs help. They need to make it very clear that you can only have 1 dog and that pet fees apply. When I called to offer to pay another pet fee and mention listing wasn’t clear Vacasa said well you should have booked with us directly…our listing is much more clear. Huh? How about you get your listing straight! Not refundable and Vacasa was not flexible so we had to board our 2 dogs…maybe they should remove Pet Friendly from the title. Anyway-coffee maker didn’t work but no big deal we made cowboy coffee. Washer dryer are NOT available for guests contrary to the listing. Several cameras on property (which is fine) but not stated in the listing. There are 3 bedrooms not 2 as described. Again…get your listing straight! The house itself was really great, roomy and comfortable. The 90 acres is a bit misleading though. Very small area that’s useable near the house but you can hike straight up behind it. A fine choice overall but I would not book another Vacasa property.

We had a great time at this listing. Very private. Great view. Plenty of room. So much to do near by in the winter.
4.7
Beautiful house in a great location. The property was fun to explore- great view. Everything you need close by
4.7
Overall the place was ok
Problems:
1- driveway upon arrival was impassable. Both our 4 wheel drive vehicles got stuck.
2- no sand in bucket by front door for ice safety
3-under lid of kitchen garbage pail filthy
4- facet in lower bath didn't work
5- main kitchen outlet for coffee maker, toaster, etc didn't work had to use them in dinning room
6- the description regarding "on 90 acres" is misleading as the house is just above the road on the front acre
The house was clean and comfortable

Great stay, beautiful snowy weekend in VT. Perfect for a cozy weekend escape!
Might take some digging in the kitchen cabinets, but has all needed kitchenware you’ll need.
Upstairs bed definitely the comfiest. The wood burning fireplace was awesome!
