The Wrightwood Chalet is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood, sound is easily carried. We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 9 pm - 9 am. Parties or loud activity will not be tolerated and will be subject to $1000 noise violation plus additional fines issued by San Bernardino County and termination of your stay.
**Due to the mountainous terrain of the cabin, SoCal Edison occasionally has Maintenance Power Outages during periods of expected high wind or other periods of high high fire risk weather. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.**
Our neighborhood is quiet, and mostly inhabited by locals. We welcome guests who want to experience Wrightwood like a local, including respecting quiet hours, parking and respect of wildlife and nature.
Spa maintenance is scheduled every Monday morning/early afternoon. This will occur during your stay if you are here on a Monday.
Please check the weather prior to your stay so you can be properly prepared. We are in an area that can get hot in the summer, very cold in the winter and can experience high winds. We will not issue refunds for weather issues that are out of our control.
When visiting a mountain town, it's important to be aware that you may encounter various types of insects and bugs due to the natural environment. No refunds will be issued, though we make every effort to manage pest control.

This property was perfect for friends or family wanting to spend time together. The house was beautiful, cozy, well stocked, and very inviting. The house was in close proximity to the town center only requiring a short walk and for those not wanting to leave, there were plenty of activities available on the property. A perfect place for relaxation and fun.

My duaghter and family werenvising beautiful california and i wanted to treat them ton specal, memory's filled weekend.
I chose this getaway location based on it location, capacity, images, and amenities.
Once booking qas complete, the attention from the hosts was outstanding and put me at ease about me selection.

We had such a fantastic stay here with the kids and dogs. The owners are lovely and the neighborhood was perfect for walking into town. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room and the beds were comfortable. Fantastic visit, we would love to come back!

8 of us came up in two trucks and stayed 2 nights right after recent snow storm. The home looked very inviting, like a storybook retreat with lots of fresh snow covering everything in white with huge icicles glistening in the under-eve lighting. The front door opens to great mud room with nice personalized greeting sign welcoming us.
The well equipped kitchen and seating made meals for 8 easy. There's a warm fireplace and a library of great books to suit most taste. Bedrooms up & downstairs were soft & comfortable. The backyard has a simple but nice game room cottage for the kids to hangout while we barbequed burgers. We did not have time to make Smores in the firepit area or dip in the hot tub - but that just gives us something to look forward to next time.
The Rustic Antique Decor gives you that away from home mountain feeling you want while on vacation. Nice street and area and very close to local dining brewery & pizzerias. It was only a couple minutes to a fun right-off-the-highway sledding area for the kids, and Mountain High Resort. So glad we found this fantastic getaway. Oh and Kelsey was an amazing host. Her communication with me was friendly, informative and timely from start to finish.
Also.. We opted for the property damage insurance and it was a smart choice because with so many people an innocent unintentional accident can happen and it gave us peace-of-mind we were covered.
Highly recommended Chalet Retreat and we can't wait to come back !

Our group of friends came up for a long weekend to play disc golf, and caught a lot of snow too! The chalet is gorgeous and very thoughtfully prepared with games, lots of towels, extra blankets, labels for light switches. The hosts were communicative and very helpful from the time of booking and throughout our stay. We had so much fun!! Thank you for having us!!
