Well of course the Joshua Tree National Park is a must visit! We are a 15 min drive away from the East side enterence.
The local 29 Palms town shops are a must visit and are only a 5 min drive. Joshua Tree is also only 12 minutes away and has some really coollocal shops and restaurants.
If you love to thrift you'll enjoy The Station, Ricochet, This N That, The End, and many more in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms.

In 29 Palms we would rcommend checking out Kitchen in the Desert, the Rib Co (The smoke all their ribs for 16 hours, get the sampler!) or Yamahana Sushi (Not the best vibe inside but great sushi for the desert to bring back to Emerald Haven!).
