I've never left lower than a 5-star review, because generally hosts do their best to address issues. Not the case here.
We rented this home for 2 nights, with family flying in from out of state.
When we arrived, the house was uninhabitable. All surfaces & furniture were matted with pet and human hair. The beds were soiled. Human hair all over the floor, showers, tub, sinks. Garbage overflowing, etc. The place was crawling with house centipedes & earwigs. There was literally a false eyelash stuck to a mirror. A nightmare.
The host revealed the last tenants had been there for a month & checked out DAYS before (which explains the smell). They sent a cleaner (after asking us to clean the prior guests' dirty towels). The cleaner is the one person who deserves credit for doing all she could. She three hours after check in and cleaned for hours while we waited outside.
Understandably, one person could not get the mess perfect so quickly. When she was done (at 10pm), the furniture was still covered in pet hair (beds, too). The floor had human hair all over. Gross, but we made do for 1 night, hoping the host would make it right.
Their response made things worse. They promised a rebate, but waited until check-out to quote only 20% off ONE DAY of the rental (not the total). Given the first night was unusable until after 10pm (6 hrs late), & the house remained dirty, that seemed unfair to us. We said this, & they refused to help.

I rented this property for my daughter, son-in-law and their 4 teenage daughters to stay in for a month while their kitchen was being renovated. It was a great place for them with a nice backyard for their 2 dogs. It was close to their home in Folsom so they were easily pop into the house to check on things and give access to the contractor and workers. The owners were very responsive and took care of a faulty back door lock and a problem connecting with the internet. We were able to extend the stay for an additional week because things weren’t ready for them to move back home when expected.
The house is also in a great location; within walking distance to a big park, Starbucks, grocery shopping and the middle school. It is also very close to Old Town Folsom which is a really hopping area with restaurants and shops, and a great river walk.

Check-in was very smooth. Property, dishes etc. were clean, plenty of towels. Washer & Dryer were fairly new. Location is within a mile of historic Folsom & the American River Trail. Quiet residential neighborhood. Use of the garage for our car & e-bikes was a big plus. Dog friendly! Grocery, restaurants, other stores very close. Beautifully decorated.

We were there for a business trip and this house was perfect for the 4 of us. We each had our own bedroom and there were 3 full bathrooms which worked out really well. The house very clean and well stocked. Lots of places nearby to go to eat. There was a nice backyard with outdoor furniture. If we need to travel there again we will absolutely stay in the house again.

We could not have been more happy with our stay at this beautiful home. We were in town for our sons(three families) state championship baseball games with Folsom College over memorial day weekend. With the intensity of the baseball games and the schedule being able to come relax in between and after speaks volumes. The property owner/hosts were amazing. You will not be disappointed staying at this home and we will be back during the season next year.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was as advertised, clean, comfortable, and communication with managers was perfect. Folsom is a good location to stay near Sacramento and the mountains. Marshall Gold Discovery State Park was interesting. The house is near every retail store and restaurant you can imagine.
