Hello, yesterday I texted this and had no response;
“Good Morning, this is Louis's wife, Connie. We have checked out. Thank you for sharing your charming home with us. We really appreciated a well stocked kitchen with quality cookware and dinnerware and the house was so clean! I wanted to share with you a few things. There wasn't any hand soap in the kitchen. We purchased a bottle. In the bath, there were 3 hand towels, 3 towels but oddly only 1 washcloth. The main body wash bottle was empty. We saw the ant traps but there were lots of ants in the bathroom.
There was a postal notice on the front door this morning and the mailman delivered mail at least 2 days while we were there.
Again, thanks for sharing your home with us. We had a great visit!
Best wishes!”
On Tuesday, a email was sent because according to the welcome book Tuesday was the day. However, none of other neighbors had their cans out. When here was no response, a call was made which was immediately answered. Communication could be improved. Thanks again. Loved the house!

My wife and I were in town for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay at this property. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. The home has been recently renovated so everything was in excellent condition. The place is finely appointed with plush towels, soft sheets, new dishes, etc. The location is convenient to everything, a short walk to Main Street and the Waterfront, yet quiet and private. We appreciated the nice touches like complimentary coffee and tea. Communication with the owners was prompt, making the booking process very easy. We recommend this place without reservation!

My husband and I were in town for several days to visit our son, which happened to be the same weekend as the first annual Vancouver music and arts festival. The house is a very easy walk to Esther Short Park, Fort Vancouver, the waterfront and various shops and restaurants. The home was very comfortable and quiet with large backyard. The owners were quick to respond with any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

We will be back! The house is very clean and comfortable. Everything you need to enjoy your stay in a central location. Walked to Farmers Market and Riverfront. Our dog had a fenced yard to run around. Thanks for having us.

Our family and our dog stayed at the house for three days while her child was racing at Vancouver Lake. The house was just minutes from the lake, which was incredibly convenient for us. we found it quiet, really well appointed, and the backyard was really cute, even though we didn’t have a chance to use it. Dustin, the host, it was gracious and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond, and then some. We will definitely hope to stay there again next year.

Cute and tidy two-bedroom bungalow, walkable to downtown Vancouver, with a fenced backyard and off-street parking. Well-appointed house with large kitchen and sizable outdoor seating area. Super cozy, with nice linens and towels, and plenty of extra touches to make your stay comfy. Highly recommend staying in Hough if you’re planning to explore Downtown Vancouver, the Vancouver Waterfront, or if you’re looking to explore the north (or the south) shore of the Columbia River.

This home was great! We stayed here for a month and this rental had everything! A very, very well equipped kitchen, lots of extra towels & linens plus a lot of little extras to make you feel at home. You just need your clothes- everything else is there! Beds were super comfy too. We had our dog with us & the yard is very big, fully fenced with grass so it was perfect. They have a BBQ w/a nice set of BBQ tools & a little fire pit in the back yard as well. Dustin & Kathryn are super nice, too. They even got us a new TV antenna while we were there so we could watch sports on local TV (plus they have all sorts of streaming services. The place is a few blocks from Main St in uptown? Vancouver so we could walk to restaurants, shops, ice cream & coffee shops.
All in all a great stay! Will definitely stay there again if we get the chance.👍🏻

A charming home, beautifully updated and decorated, with a nice sized backyard, especially if you have your dog with you, as we did. The hosts thought of everything— the kitchen and baths were well stocked—and I appreciated the bowl of peanut butter cups!
The hosts were helpful and easy to deal with.
Main St. Vancouver or the waterfront are a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly check for availability on our next visit.

We had a great time at Dustin's property in Vancouver visiting our son in Portland. The location was perfect for us. The place was very cozy, comfortable and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, even for a Thanksgiving meal. The location was very walkable. We would stay there again.
