This property was excellent for the 6 of us that stayed there this past weekend. The 3 bedrooms we used, located on the second floor, are roomy with very comfortable beds. The 2 bathrooms adjacent to the bedrooms were not lacking anything and were also very roomy. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were well appointed and accommodated our needs. The property is located within 2 blocks of the Wauwatosa Village center yet it was very quiet. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our inquiries. We enjoyed our stay.

We just finished our second annual trip back to Wisconsin and stayed at the property for the second straight year. We could not be happier with everything. House is fantastic and the location could not be any better for walking to so many stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The house has been updated extremely nice with great kitchen, bathrooms, and more. We will continue to stay here for all our Wisconsin visits going forward.

The Nineteen02 continues to be our family’s preferred place to stay when visiting Milwaukee. Spacious, beautifully appointed, unbeatable location, and an effortless check-in/out process.

Well, I've found that Vrbo has a 1500 character limit on these reviews as I had apparently went into too much detail on how nice this place was to stay, and the myriad subtle and not so subtle details that make this place an exceptionable rental, that I ran out of room.
Back to the drawing board. Following is a list of the aspects that I found noteworthy:
Location!, gourmet kitchen stocked with so many helpful items, beer taps, ample and comfortable seating, area guide, overall surgical cleanliness, luxuriously comfortable bedding, master bath shower, heated toilet seat!?, 2nd floor laundry area, outdoor seating area, tons of natural light, fresh towels and linens.
As you would imagine, if I detailed all of this I'd run out of room quickly. The Vrbo listing doesnt do the place justice honestly. If you need a 3 br 2 bath house near Milwaukee thats walking distance to restaurants and bars, and in a quiet historic area, this is the place. You will not be disappointed, and the owner Amanda is extremely responsive and available if needed.
5 stars is probably not enough.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and comfortable, and so thoughtfully appointed for guests. It was wonderful to be in a walkable neighborhood -- we loved being able to stroll down the street to shops, restaurants, and the river. The owners were responsive, and really thought of absolutely everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It’s hard to impress the cleaning lady when staying in a rental, but I was VERY impressed!! The house is beautiful!! The pictures do a good job showing off the property but it’s even better in person. Such thoughtful details, and things in the house to make your stay easier. The hosts went above and beyond for us, we’re super friendly and helpful and very responsive to my messages. It’s in a beautiful area, and so close to the city!! We loved every minute of our stay!!

House is beautiful, well laid out and well fitted out. Loved neighborhood - close to restaurants and shops,. great for walking. Bikes to rent on corner if you want o ride; I understand there is a trail nearrby... Had several games for us, including our family favorite Ticket to Ride. Two raucous, competitive games were a hoot!!
Owners couldn't have been nicer - even loaned us 2 cooler to take onto boat we rented one afternoon.
Sould have stayed longer :)

Our family of 6 and 2 young granddaughters stayed at this fabulous home. The house was even nicer than we expected from the description. The 2nd bathroom had just recently been completed and was super luxurious; as was the original bathroom. The host did a super good job of providing thoughtful amenities that made our stay even more relaxing and memorable...local coffee, bread maker, lots of kitchen utensils, bathroom necessities. Every room had so much personality! We walked in to town for dinner each evening - many options for dining. We would absolutely recommend this home. 5 Stars for sure!!!!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated home. Very spacious and clean, lots of little touches like bread from a local bakery, small toys for the kids, etc made our stay even more enjoyable. Owner was very courteous and quick to respond.

What a wonderful vintage house, tastefully renovated, and furnished with excellent furniture and kitchen appointments. The location is within easy walking distance of an independent coffee shop, French cafe, and classic Wisconsin supper club--all an added bonus. AAA+++
