Loved this house. Location was perfect. It worked well for two couples!

We were traveling on a summer road trip from the Midwest to the East coast and stopped for a couple nights in Salt Lake City. The house is clean and comfortable and was perfect for us with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Easy to drive into and then walk to the temple, mall, restaurants and more. The host was great to work with when we left something behind and worked to get it shipped home for us! Would stay again!

This little house is charming, clean, comfortable, and it was just perfect for our needs when we stayed in town at Salt Lake City. It was also pet friendly and had a little fenced in area which was great for our two small dogs to have a little freedom since we have been traveling quite a lot. We had great communication with our hosts and it made our stay a lot easier. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming as well. We found the neighborh o od delightful.

Great, historical location and neighborhood. Wonderful old house.

It was just myself and a friend who came to visit a family member. Location was great! There is no hot tub which the property manager did tell me, when I asked about it. ( it was listed in description) There is really no back yard which was fine. Would’ve looked nicer from outside if there were real plants on front steps instead of plastic ones… Beds were very comfortable and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and pans etc, would’ve been nice to have some tin foil or Saran wrap handy after we cooked. The bathroom with shower was in one of the bedrooms and it was small but that was fine. The other bathroom was off the kitchen and had a tub with shower which we didn’t use. There was a weird musty smell for the first couple days , but then we didn’t really notice it. Overall, I would recommend as the location was perfect and it was just enough for our 5 night stay! Thank you , we had a great trip, so much better having a whole house than a hotel room!

The home was clean, smelled nice, and very nicely decorated. It felt like our home away from home and had everything we needed. Quiet and located with convenience to downtown.

Perfect little getaway. Right near the capital, but also close to downtown. Great communication with the host. Just a fantastic place for a getaway. Stay here!

This house is really cool. If you like staying in a neighborhood with a lot of nostalgia, this is it. I am not sure how old the neighborhood is, but the owners have a done a great job giving this house some modern touches while keeping the feel of the original house. All the beds including the sofa bed were very comfortable. The bedrooms share a wall and are connected by a door that locks. The 2 bathrooms are tiny, but were perfect for our needs. One is off one of the bedrooms and the other is located off the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a nice area to do laundry if needed. The breakfast nook is really cool and the living room is very spacious. Just remember this home is old, but very modern. The house sits on a hill in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is within walking distance of downtown, but be ready for a steep climb on the way back to the house. Steep might be a generous word. You can also look up the hill and see the capitol building to the east and looking west the sunset was incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot.

If you like to explore a city on foot this is a great location. You can see the Capital from the road in front of the house. Once you walk up to the Capital the Temple Square is only a short walk away. Many other architectural sites near by. House is old but nice. Neighborhood felt safe.

Super clean! Very conveniently located in the Avenues with a spectacular view of the capital dome that frames the top of the street. That bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have slept in with super soft sheets. Only complaint is that there wasn't enough pillows for the other couple who was with us to double up. I will definitely stay here again!!!!

The house was clean and was well decorated. The location close to the capital and to downtown was nice. I would stay here again.

The property is definitely not as advertised. Within one hour of entering the property, we came across numerous roaches, mostly in the dining area but also in the living room and bedrooms. The host simply dismissed it as a common occurrence in Utah and claimed this was a first for the property, but there were way too many for that to be the case. We had to stay in a hotel for the night, and cancelled a second booking at this property because of it, even though we didn’t get a full refund. We can deal with adverse conditions for a property and can handle a lot of situations, but there were over 30 roaches within an hour of entering the property. That’s just too much to deal with.

Very clean. I will be looking for this place next year.

The four of stayed here to attend a conference at Salt Palace. It was easily accessible to downtown for fun and for the conference itself. The place was spacious with beautiful views. All of the beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. And we never once felt like we were on top of each other. It was still cold/snowy when we visited so we did not get to utilize the outdoor spaces but they seemed well taken care of.

House was clean and conveniently located between the airport, downtown and ski mountains. Host was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend this property for others

Parkings not great, nice house, was wrongly accused of having a party.
