About this house rental

The world truly is your oyster when you stay at One The Slipway, a delightful cottage tucked away just off the beach with sea views overlooking the famous Whitstable Oyster beds. To sample these delicious oysters, you only need to walk a few yards to the Royal Native Oyster Stores, the Pearson’s Arms or if it’s your first experience you can even buy just one in the harbour! One The Slipway is a white weatherboard cottage, set over three floors with a stylish first floor sitting room with a balcony for enjoying morning coffee or early evening cocktails. It also benefits from private gated parking for one car. The open plan kitchen / dining room on the ground floor is a lovely sociable space to gather, and the three bedrooms are elegantly decorated offering light and comfortable sleeping accommodation. Two of the bedrooms have sea views. Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants.

Visited with family and had an amazing week. Weather was gorgeous, sunny every day. Location of house was spot on, so near to everything. Beds were really comfy with good quality linens and the kitchen well equipped for self catering when needed. Gated parking also a bonus. Only tiny improvement would be an over sink mirror in the first floor bathroom. Am sure this is coming though as can see it has recently be refurbished. Thanks for another lovely stay! Will definitely return.

We had a great time at One the Slipway, we were a party of 7 - 6 adults and a 10 month old and the house was a fantastic size for us all with comfy beds and a great sized living room, with high spec finishes including a massive TV! Location was ideal for exploring the town and the shoreline and the views from 2 of the bedrooms were spectacular. The only thing we would feedback on is that we couldn’t control the heat of the shower on the top floor so all had to share the middle bathroom for the weekend but this wasn’t a problem! Would definitely return to one the slipway

This property is very well equipped and in top order. Parking - whilst a little tight - is secure and convenient. Whitstable is a vibrant and picturesque location with much going on. We would like to highly recommend the Slipway.
