We were in Gainesville for Family Reunion. This home was extremely comfortable for our family of 9. The layout worked beautifully for a three generation family. The extra amenities like the pool table and swim spa were a hit with the kids. The view of the lake and fall trees was lovely. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room to spread out. We will be staying again in December!

Great place to stay to reconnect with extended family. Plenty of room and areas for people to visit or have privacy.

The property was gorgeous. We had a family reunion here and enjoyed the views as well as all the house had to offer. The beds were super comfortable and home was nicely decorated. The only thing we would have changed is the hill down to the dock, very steep and harder for older adults to get up and down.

We truly enjoyed our stay and thank you for your hospitality. What we love the most about this property is the breathtaking view as you drive up to the property and from the viewing deck as well as from the main master bedrooms.
This property is also very private, and quiet and is set more like a compound style. Overall, we definitely will come back and make this our GO-TO home in the Lanier area. One thing to note, there is a Marina only 1 mile away where you can rent a boat for a day and easily take your rental boat to the dock of this home. However, there is a slope to walk up and down, which is a bit of exercise but manageable for us.

We are local and rented this home to celebrate my husband's birthday along with a few close friends to share memorable times together. Lake Lanier has always been our favorite destination during the summer, and we have rented many homes in this area. What we loved about this home right away was the complete privacy that you just don't get with most of the Lanier homes we’ve rented before. As we drove into the parking area, the view was just magnificent, and the photo doesn't do justice. There is the viewing deck that you can walk up to and is just even more stunning from the top. The home is super spacious, the beds weren't cramped like most Lanier homes we’ve rented and literally every single room is spacious with King size beds, which is an A+ for all us adults. All of our friends seem to really enjoy their beds. Being seasoned renters, I can appreciate special touches and unique amenities such as this super-giant swim-spa combo, which is like a swimming pool but is a hot tub and all twelve of us were in it literally with extra space in between. The only complaint we have is the long walk to the dock, due to my knee issue, but most of us didn't have trouble hiking to and from the dock. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house, everything was in working order, and the host was very responsive. This is our new favorite spot and we will be renting again next year for sure.

My email to the owner that has not been responded too:

"I want to reiterate how unhappy we were with our stay. Since there were 12 of us, I had no way of knowing all this issues until the end of the stay and started asking. The ones I did know about, I contacted you immediately. You said you owned 15 rentals, so I def expect a WHOLE lot more then what we received. The house was a total nightmare and as I stated, should not be allowed to be rented except by small parties. Here is a list for you:
Fireplace is not allowed to be used - I was told 2 different stories
The bugs are insane - roaches, spiders and others
Outside fire pit is to far away and there was no firewood
Hot tub took 3 days to heat up when we got there
No heat or AC downstairs
Water pressure is terrible along with hot water. Taking a shower was torture
Ice maker can't keep up with more then 4 people
Septic apparently had overflowed before we got there that explains what we thought was vomit downstairs . Also explains the HORRIFIC SMELL downstairs when we got there., By the end of our stay it was constant over flow and the smell was unbearable to the people staying downstairs. We just stopped washing clothes and dishes.
Internet was constantly in and out and 4 of us were trying to work thru the week.
Honesty, I'm a real estate agent - I am unsure where the 6600 sq feet is. If you try to sell it I would suggest having a real carpenter do the work - it's shotty at best.
At the end of the day, I will NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOME! My rating will not be a good one. I am requesting 1/3 my stay price back. $500 is a total joke. In all the years I have rented, I have never asked for money back!
- FYI I still haven't even seen the $500.
I will say they were very responsive when I sent a text, but nothing was resolved except the internet which I had to keep resetting.
