Summary:
The Sunny Sweetheart is a perfect spot to stay while in Columbus! This apartment has 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom sleeps 8 and is located about 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus! Guests can enjoy walking to dinner at the Black Cow or Minnie's before heading to Circa Lounge for cocktails. Only 2 miles from Chattahoochee Riverwalk! If you're looking for more family friendly options, walk with the kids to the Coca Cola Space Science Center before strolling along the Riverwalk. Pet friendly with fee.
The Space:
This apartment is located on the left side of the duplex as you're facing the house, with the entrance nearest the driveway. The front porch has a private entrance with a digital door code used to access the home.
Once inside, you will be welcomed into the living room with 2 futons and large SmartTV! From here, you will be able to access the rest of the home! The kitchen and dining area is straight ahead, which is fully-equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, fridge, coffee maker and a cozy dinette.
There are two bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, the second has two full beds, and they share a full bathroom in the hallway. The backyard is spacious with a charcoal grill available for use!
**Please note, this home is part of a historic duplex, and the front unit is rented separately.**

Guests will access the home with a digital keypad. Guests will have full and private access your unit in the home. The front porch and exterior spaces are shared.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in the heart of uptown Columbus, while many homes have been completely renovated and restored, there are several homes on the block that are still awaiting loving owners to bring them back to their full beautiful potential. We are located about 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus, and .4 miles directly east of the Coca Cola Space Science Center, and .8 miles south of the Riverwalk.
Getting Around:
Our home is walkable to multiple areas of Columbus, and Uber and Lyft are readily in available in the area. If you choose to drive, there are two parking spots available on-site.

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free checkin via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

To start positive, the host was attentive and responsive. Reached out to us the first morning to see how everything was going. Unfortunately, that’s really the only positive comments I have. We initially booked a different property from the same host and were told the day before check-in that it wouldnt be ready. Things happen, that’s ok. When we first arrived at the house, the door was open. The house needs some work. The front bedroom has plywood on one of the walls covering what I assume to be a hole of some sort. The beds and headboard did have a large amount of hair on them, as well as some small bugs between the top spread and the sheet. We did not spend a night here, we drive to a nearby town and rented a hotel.
