This was a beautiful property and stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Despite the ongoing construction and frequent power outages (the generators or supply quickly kicked in each time) it was a great place to stay.

The premises are very secure, with an amazing structured- layout.
The rooms are clean, spacious, modern and stylish, with very comfortable beds.
Delicious breakast and well-presented at the roof-top restaurant.
Well done Allain.

The management team were very professional and welcoming. I am very impressed by the excellent service I received. I was given a free upgrade and the one bedroom apartment was exclusive. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Freetown and will definitely revisit it. I highly recommend it- Allain keep up the excellent and outstanding hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to family and friends.
The staff were extremely attentive whilst being discreet. We took advantage of the pool and ordered snacks from the restaurant.
The room was an excellent size with modern decor. Whilst the hotel grounds was picturesque.

The hotel was a peaceful and beautiful getaway from the more intense city life. The room was spacious with a kitchen and living room, and a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all welcoming, helpful and professional. The gym was top notch with all the equipment you will need. And the pool is amazing.

Disappointing
Where do I begin? From the advertising and pictures, The Lead looks amazing but in reality my stay there did not match the type of service and experience they claim to give. Who wants to stay and pay for an executive suite when the hotel is still under construction? I sadly did. Firstly, this hotel claims to have beach access and when I asked I was told “ there is no access to the beach it’s dirty now and not ready yet”. It is all false information and there is absolutely no beach access. I saw the beach from a locked cage that was placed there. I was fooled by their instagram a social media posts and that was the first red flag.
Secondly this hotel has room service which is a plus but sadly the food is more near to airplane food. The food is extremely salty and the breakfast omelet is not from fresh eggs it’s powdered and microwaved ( why I likened it to the meals served at airplanes). The meat, chicken for that matter, is imported and not even local meat/products are used . Who wants to eat imported frozen meat why not just use local fresh products? The food menu extremely boring and simple for a 2 star hotel.
My biggest issue is that this hotel gives off the perception that it is not accommodating for African or local Sierra Leonean guests for that matter (the food menu is entirely western food without even one local African cuisine on the menu). I didn’t feel anything African or a hint of the local food/culture at the The Lead Hotel which is in the be

This is the only place I have stayed in Freetown and I have no intention of staying anywhere else. It was a very fantastic experience and my little 11-month old really enjoyed it too. Clean and very family oriented place

This is the best property in Freetown. Courteous, Classy, and Excellent Service. I will only stay here when I return to Freetown. You simply will not find better accommodations and the food was limited but excellent. The chef even accommodated my vegan diet personally. You won't find better staff from cleaning to security to management.

One of the best place in the city if not the country. I recommend it highly, for a business trip or vacation. This place is so unique and management will go above and beyond to make sure your stay here is more memorable. The staffs are friendly and professional and willing to help you at anytime. The facility is super clean, the rooms and outdoors are well maintained, the pool area the gardens etc. the hotel is well secure as they have 24 hours security personnel onsite and cameras around. There is ample room for parking in the facility for personal vehicles. I also tried few items off the kitchen menu, the food is excellent. No doubt this hotel is one of the best.

I was in the LEAD Hotel in November 2022 while works were still ongoing. So, the main services available in addition to the room of course were the GYM and the swimming pool. I enjoyed my stay very much, the hotel is beautiful (Mediterranean style), very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is a real joy. The room is very comfortable and very calm. The kitchenette is also well equipped, and staff are very nice. The location is also nice, many nice restaurants are around as well as a long walk by the beach. The best hotel in Freetown I think, and it was just perfect for my long mission, and I am already booked for a second stay in December. I highly recommend it.

Unique and Luxury rooms in Freetown
The Lead hotel is very well located in the heart of Aberdeen, Freetown, overlooking the Atlantic ocean and walking distance from Lumley beach.
I like the fresh clean modern spacious rooms, with fully equipped kitchennete, extremely comfortable beds and how quiet the rooms are.
