Comfort room was comfortable although not really warm enough when we arrived - we turned the radiator up and eventually it did warm the room reasonably well. To be fair it was a very cold day with snow on the ground.

This hotel delivered in all aspects the one thing they could not control was other guests not having consideration for other guests, shouting in corridor at all time, running, talking very loud and seem to gather in corridor for extended chat
The hotel reception could not have been more helpful in trying to sort our issue, the two men in the bar area were both polite and engaging

Great one night stay here for the grand theatre Wolverhampton. Only £6/7 in a taxi there. Couldn't really find a nice hotel in the town centre, so found this gem. It's kept it's old gothic style with all modern furnishings. Lovely dining room. My one and only complaint was the pillows were hard. But suited my friend that stayed with me, so just personal choice. Amazing staff. Nice walk down the lane to nice pub too.

My initial thought was it was a nice hotel. Staff ok, reception welcome not a smile from receptionist, other receptionists later much nicer.
Room end of roons not great.
On the small side. Goid tea coffee biscuits hot chocolate and bathroom toiletries.
Bed was ok however my daughter woke up and had been bitten during night.
Breakfast was let down. None if us liked it so was disappointing. My avocado was brown, my gluten free muffin was not a muffin but a bap and not toasted. My daughters salmon was not great she didn't eat and husband left some of his full English breakfast.
Wouldn't return again although the manor it self i liked the building and history.

Beautiful hotel slightly disappointed to have not been in the main building but an extension at the back looking at the pictures you assume your room is in this lovely graded historical building and I certainly would not have paid this price for a deluxe room as it was small if I had known. However, it’s a lovely hotel when you are in the main building it is steeped in history the room was spotless and comfortable the room service exceptional staff friendly

Stopping here thinking there was a golf course attached to the hotel, there was but was a ten min drive. Also poor service in the restaurant, ordered sides which came after we had finished our main and ask the staff several times.

Visiting our hometown of Wolverhampton after many years away. Had fond memories of The Mount and it didn't disappoint. Lovely to stay somewhere so unique, staff were friendly and professional - thank you

Excellent hotel

Staff very accommodating, just one issue with the position of the mirror which was at the side of the desk on the wall so you couldn’t sit at the desk and dry hair and use the mirror

Overall we had a lovely stay. The hotel were very accommodating to us. Sarah (operations manager) was fantastic! Along with the lady that checked us in. The room was clean and maids very friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has plenty of parking.
The bar service was a little slow around lunchtime with a new member of staff. But I guess people have to start somewhere. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The room was smaller than expected but it was nice and clean and fully equipped. The only thing I didn’t like is that they had a full length mirror opposite the toilet. Who wants to watch themselves on the loo. Shame as the shower was amazing. Staff were amazing and friendly and really friendly. On our second night of our stay there was a prom, which meant we couldn’t have drinks in the bar and we had lots a noise from the kids. But I will them there due they get this under control eventually. Plus view from room want nice. But the gardens were stunning. I would stay again though .

Just bad, at this price point. Have stayed here before but not for a while. Any one of a room so smelly and damp the carpet was actually moving, stifling room on a 16 degree day, and a bed so old and cheap I could feel the box springs would be disappointing. All three: not ok.
The staff are fine, the food is good (if very pricey), and the garden is a nice place to be, but as for the rest: oh dear.

It had no air conditioning in the room so it was really hot!!

Hotel has a lot of character but I would expect more for my money. Check in was delayed to 5:00pm due to visiting football team. However although I was warned before hand no explanation or real apology was given. Usually a hotel would offer a complimentary drink or breakfast for such an inconvenience. Restaurant was excellent with superb service. Room was quite noisy with layers of dust in some areas. Overall ok but wouldn’t return.

Avoid!
This is not in anyway worth the money they charge.
Reception area was nice but room corridors make it feel like a nursing home not a hotel.
Room tiny, mould in bathroom, thread born bed runner, wonky radiator which didn't work.
Rooms really noisy. Deafening noise when other guests run their taps/flush their toilet.
Food, edible but pretty poor, you'd be better going to a local take away.
The reception experience I had at check in was mind boggling and when I checked out I wasn't asked how my stay was so didn't get to communicate any of this to the hotel.
You'd be better in a Travel Lodge!

Very nice comfortable hotel, really good food, great service, just one issue, when I opened the window in my room, I could here a generator but also hotel staff chatting and swearing whilst they were standing outside.

This hotel is in a great location with a large open air car park. We particularly liked the terrace for lunch and breakfast, it's a brilliant spot to eat. My two colleagues were coeliac and the menu/kitchen catered for them with no issue. The rooms were spacious and clean, though due to the age of the building there are no lifts so accessibility could be an issue. The main thing we found challenging was multiple staff giving conflicting info about restaurant and bar opening hours, breakfast times and check out times. My US colleague's credit card also wasn't accepted for her room deposit so I had to cover her room.

Overall a pleasant stay let down by a few small points. The hotel itself is nice and clean, the room we stayed in was small and utterly cramped. The food was nice, an issue with under cooked eggs was dealt with swiftly.

The photo does not do this place justice. You can see how it must be popular as a wedding venue. My husband and I were in town for a show for one night and someone said this place was quite nice. That really is an understatement. Its a lovely hotel and the restaurant is amazing. Food was delicious and service was fantastic.

VERY SMALL ROOM for DELUXE and costing twice as much for half the size of Premier Inn £165 is ridiculous for a box

Nice hotel, very comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. not much in the surrounding area to see. Bar/dining area is busy with hotel guests with lively atmosphere.
