This has been by far the most accommodating property I’ve booked! My husband, our two best friends along with our fur baby stayed 6 nights here. The views and property were absolutely stunning. With extremely convenient access to the lake including a beach front entrance into the lake! Incredibly well stocked kitchen and stunning decor. Plenty of activities on site like board games, card games, yard games, paddle boards and kayaks! Not to mention great communication throughout our visit checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay and that everything was exceeding our expectations! Will return in the future! 5 Stars all around!

Cannot say enough good things about The Fishcamp at Lake Sinclair! Perfect setup for our family of 10. The beach/sandbar area was great for our little ones. Our 8 and 10 year olds loved staying in the loft bedroom. Has lots of great amenities. Great deck on the back and screened porch on the side. Trippe was the best host. Recommended boat rentals and closest grocery stores and kept in contact with us the whole time we were there. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Accommodations were clean and beds were comfy!
Thanks Trippe, for a great vacation!

Incredible owner/manager - he is better at texting me than my best friend. And is tied with my google calendar in reminding me of things. And he/they threw in nice extras at the house (will save the surprise for you but someone else probably already commented the specifics)
Wonderful house(s) - the three housing options speak for themselves. The kitchen's spice cabinet was better stocked than mine at home. They provide so many extra towels and dog toys/treats. Incredibly thoughtful and hospitable. I want to go to Thanksgiving dinner at their house. It's probably like a medieval feast.
Beautiful/usable property - so many extras. Fenced in yard for kids and dogs; shady so great on a hot day. Kayaks, paddleboards, floats, life jackets, fishing poles for recreation fun. For relaxing, there is a hot tub, two fire pits, two loungers at the "beach" area, two southern porch swings, two hammocks, and plenty of chairs on the dock. Flat/usable yard between the fenced area and water, a "beach area" and the water isn't very deep so pretty safe for young ones if you keep an eye on them. It also doesn't feel like that mushy rotting leaf/branch goo that's typically at the bottom of a lake. More sandy/muddy. We were able to pull a pontoon up to the dock on the deeper side (1-2 feet but enough for a pontoon). The setting is possibly the best on the lake - it's on a main water section so you get the view of the full lake and a strong sense of privacy b/c it's on a small peninsula.

We love staying here! Trippe is a fantastic host! The property is well taken care of and had everything we could possibly need during our stay.
Trippe is very attentive and checked in periodically and even gave us some tips on moon watching! Already planning next years visit.

Fish Camp at Lake Sinclair is the cleanest and most well equipped rental I have ever stayed at! Everything you need is there! There is something for everyone, even the kids and your pup! Bring your clothes and food and you won’t have to leave until you’re ready to go home!!!
Trippe is the most attentive and contentious host we have ever dealt with. He is very responsive and super helpful. He makes you feel like this is your home away from home!
Look no further, Fish Camp at Lake Sinclair is your next family Lake vacation!!!

This was absolutely the most awesome rental we have ever had! The listing doesn’t do it justice! Our 3 grandkids loved the fact that they had their own house! We loved the outdoor kitchen area! Watched baseball games at night there and had a few naps during the day! This was the cleanest rental we have ever experienced! And absolutely no smells or odors of any kind which we loved!!! Beds were extremely comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked! We did a lot of grilling which was real handy on the deck right off the main living area! You felt at home from day one! And the owner, Trippe was the best! Making sure we had everything we needed! Informed us of an amazing fireworks show that the neighbor does every 4th of July (which was awesome). He even sent Krispy Kreme Doughnuts via Grub Hub one day! I have never known an owner be more concerned with guests being comfortable and happy than he was! The whole experience for our family’s yearly lake trip was just the best ever at The Fish Camp!!! One more thing…the fenced area was perfect for our 2 grand dogs! Lots of room to throw balls with them. And lots of chairs on the decks and on the dock! I could go on and on, but I hope you see what an wonderful stay you will have if you rent this place! Oh by the way, the pan fish that my grandson caught off the dock were delicious! And he had a blast catching them! There was generous concrete parking area for all our cars. Thank you Trippe!

Amazing vacation spot! We are normally beach goers but decided to give the lake a try and this cozy oasis did not disappoint! The 3 separate living spaces made it an ideal spot for our family of adults, teens, middle schoolers, and toddler. Everything was perfect! It was very clean, comfortable, and the accommodations were so thoughtful! The “extras” were so appreciated. Every area is decorated so nicely, with ambiance lighting, making this the coziest getaway spot. The host, Trippe, was so communicative and made the entire process effortless. We all had the best time and will be back!

This property is beautiful. Tripp stayed in constant contact prior to with information on the place and the day of for check in. He also checked in daily to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will definitely be back.

I've been renting at SInclair for a number of years and can honestly say this has been the best property yet. The communication with the owner and the amenities were top notch. Will definitely be staying here again.

Our family of 11 looks forward to a fun lake getaway every year. We’ve always chosen a different house trying to meet everyone’s needs. In our group we have a 3 year old, two 8 year olds, 2 teenagers, and 6 adults. Tripp’s property was so perfect for us because the property has multiple buildings and sleeping setups and many fun hang out spots. They really thought of it all- anything you’d need for fun in the lake, board games inside, yard games outside, hammocks, fire pits, the kitchen was well stocked, many tvs with streaming so family classic movie night could be had, and at least 3 different places to sit down for family meals. The dock is covered for shade with tables and chairs relaxing enough that I was able to paint a few evenings. Every age of kid had the best time catching fireflies after dinner and the adults could relax while watching them knowing they were safe in the very level fenced in yard. We didn’t bring our Boykin spaniel this time but she would’ve had a blast. They had an entire doggy supply area on the side porch to even meet their needs.
My husband brought a small boat to go out fishing in but he also caught brim off of their dock. And everyone swam in the shallow water off of their sandy beach.
Trippe was a breeze to communicate with. We talked through text multiples times over our stay. He would even give us tips on fun things happening, or the best time of day to do something. I really appreciated level of customer service. We can’t wait to return!

We just stayed at this wonderful lake house and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The view from the house is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the lake that you can enjoy right from the living room, deck and hot tub. The 3 separate living quarters was ideal for our group. We each had our own space which the kids absolutely loved!
The house itself is incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. It has all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay, and the cozy interiors make it feel like a home away from home. We had so much fun kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing on the lake, barbecuing on the deck, and just unwinding in the serene environment.
Trippe was exceptional, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The AC went out and Trippe was able to get someone onsite within a few hours to fix it. He consistently followed up to see how things were going and was extremely responsive. He genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable.
On a side note- we rented a boat from Sinclair Marina for the kids to wakeboard and tube on. Best prices in the area. The dock at the house was well equipped with life vests and everything you would need for the water.
Overall, this lake house rental is a gem, and we can't wait to return for another memorable getaway!

This is a truly great place to stay. All conceivable amenities, great location & view on Lake Sinclair, extremely attentive host. Extremely clean, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would!!!

We had a wonderful two night stay. The place was fantastic. Trippe has thought of everything. Our group enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, and the dock as we brought our boat. The best thing was having so many different gathering areas, inside and out for people to hang out and visit. Young adults and older adults had areas to congregate so we were together but not too together!

Everything that was advertised plus, this property is beautifully set up and well maintained. Everything was organized and there was great detail in making sure that you had whatever was necessary from the kitchen to the dock. We will be back and if you rent this property you will be back also, awesome place.

First let me star by saying, we have stayed in a LOT of VRBO's across the country and Trippe is by far one of the best host we have ever had. He made this week long trip for spring break effortless. His communication throughout the stay was on point. He was always able to answer any questions and checked in just to see if there was anything needed or give suggestions.
Next, the house. The house was perfect. It is just as described and pictures cannot do justice to the relaxing nature of where your at on the water. The house was spotless and had all the things we needed to get started. From the little details of the ambiance lighting in the house to the perch/cookhouse we spent most of our evening. And everything worked like it should.
Now just for info we had 4 adults and two kids and never during our stay did we feel like we were cramped or didn't have our own space to spread out. The kids had a blast in the fenced in yard to the loft area to the little cottage. We all had the perfect amount of space. This is by far one of the best places we've stayed in the area. Thanks Trippe and we will definitely be back soon to spend more time there. Cheers!

Highly recommend

The special touches were evident throughout our stay. The personalized texts, welcoming treats, and activities were enjoyed by all of us: Fires, football in the perch, grilling out, kayaks, hammock lounging, hot tub,
The sleeping arrangements were ideal. Each couple had their own space and the mattresses were very comfortable. Everything was clean and updated. We will be back!

We had an absolutely fabulous long weekend at the Fish Camp and wish would could have stayed longer. Trippe is a wonderful host—quickly answered any questions we had prior to booking, before coming, and during our stay. They property is gorgeous with so much to do. The house is the best stocked I’ve seen with almost anything you can think of with switches and such labeled which makes it really visitor friendly. My teens loved having their own space above the garage. My younger kids had a blast with all the games in the house and fishing. We all enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, swinging, hot tubbing, and hanging out in the Perch. We didn’t even break out the yard games (and there are a bunch)! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at the Fish Camp. Everything was just as advertised. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking. Fishing was good right off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boards were a huge hit. WiFi was good enough to work from the house for the week. We would definitely go back.

Everything about the house and the property was perfect. It's not a cookie-cutter rental without the comforts of home. You feel like a real guest in a well-cared for home. The owners have thought of everything. As beautiful as the pictures are, they don't do justice to the actual property.

Our family of six adults, ranging in ages from 20 to 70, plus the family dog, loved everything about this property from check in through check out. Each of us had the space for privacy if desired, throughout the 3 beautiful units: the A frame, the cottage and the loft, although most of our time was spent together on the back deck, screened in porch, relaxing lake side on the docks or simply floating in the gorgeous swimming area. All spaces are clean and decorated in a welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Trippe, is so attentive to his guests, making sure we were comfortable and happy, including checking in on us during a summer storm. We would recommend Trippe and his beautiful home to anyone looking for a place to put their feet up and enjoy the natural beauty around The Fish Camp.

This property is so well designed. The owners put alot of thought into providing everything you could possibly need. All drawers, cabinets and lightswitches were labeled. The main house was the cleanest property we have stayed in. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lots of towels including beach towels. The kitchen had most anything you need for cooking. A cabinet full of spices, basics like flour, sugar, etc. The round dining room table was great for fitting a large group around. We were able to set up our poker table in the livingroom for late night poker games. The lighting was a fun addition. The Perch is an amazingly place to just be. There was wood provided for a fire. Two nice benches to sit and chill out. Cool yard games included. Nice lighting. There is an outdoor shower just outside The Perch to rinse the lake water off. The boathouse / dock was stocked with life jacets, noodles and fun stuff. We rented a pontoon and brought a boat. Plenty of space for both. We played on their paddleboards and had fun in the kayaks. There was NOT an extra charge for using them either. The property is dog friendly and they provide all sorts of cool stuff for you fur babies. The beach area was perfect for the little ones. There are two large nice swings facing the lake along with a firepit to enjoy. The grass is beautiful. So many wonderful things. Only negative was the cottage was very warm. Almost hot during the day. Long time to cool off at night.

Amazing lake house! Everything is well thought out and family friendly. We had a large group and it was so nice to have different areas to get away and relax. With the main house —there are also two huge cottages with bathrooms and kitchenettes! It has everything you need…plenty of seating everywhere, games, big yard, it’s pretty perfect! Don’t skip this one, we will be back!
Trippe is fantastic, goes above and beyond!

Loved our time at this lake retreat! Such a beautiful and peaceful lake house. The owners have thought of all the small details and were wonderful about communicating before and during our stay. They’ve included so many thoughtful small touches that made the cabin feel like home during our stay. Our crew enjoyed fishing, lawn games, the hot tub, and relaxing in the various spaces on the property. We were also able to find several great local restaurants with a couple of trips into close-by towns and DoorDash! Highly recommend for groups of all sizes!
For those looking for accessible spaces: our daughter is in a wheelchair and we had no issues with getting her around the property. There is a steep ramp to the porch and a minimal step into both the main cabin and cottage. The yard has a small steady decline to the lake making it accessible with the right wheels. Talk to Trippe about your specific needs, but for us it worked perfectly!

We stay at the lake quite often and this house is by far our favorite!! Even our kids said that this house is the best!! It has everything you need literally all you need our your clothes. The location is perfect giving you BIG water views and close to stores. Trippe and Abbie are wonderful host!! They stayed in touch all weekend making sure we didn’t need anything and even letting us know of a shooting star shower!! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Don’t look at any other rentals and book this place now! 😉 from the moment I booked, the communication from the owner was above and beyond. The house is in a great location, right on the water and close to restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and had all of the supplies and amenities to cook any meal on site which made us feel welcomed and right at home. The outdoor activities are also well equipped- kayaks, paddle boards, cornhole, fishing, hot tub, firepits and more! Also- a great place to bring your pups (they even have a great variety dog amenities!) Overall such a great experience and we highly recommend this place!

Five stars, for sure. The accommodations were super clean. The main house is beautifully appointed and visually stunning, and our teenage son loved the privacy of the separate “apartment”. Everything was very well organized and labelled (no turning on/off switches to figure out what turns on/off what, and easily knowing where everything is/goes in the cabinets and drawers … Yay!). The “Perch” was super cool. We had a great fire while watching basketball on the flatscreen. We also had a huge fire in the outdoor firepit overlooking the lake. Beautiful setting, with comfortable outdoor seating. We used most of the amenities, including the kayak (short paddle, as it was January) and fishing poles from the dock. The hot tub was a welcome treat in the misty cold January weather. The WIFI was excellent for the streaming TVs and all our individual devices, including a perfect connection for an urgent work (ugh) conference call. The beds in the master bedrooms (up/down stairs) were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were super clean and functioned well, with no issues (always a wonderful thing). The welcome basket was a nice surprise, and the wine and s’more fixings were greatly appreciated. Finally, it was oh-so fun to have our doggos welcome and appreciated. Great subtle accommodations and fun stuff for them—owners who obviously love dogs as much as we do. As a side note, we got Shane’s Rib Shack via DoorDash, and the ribs, chicken, and sides were generously sized and delicious. We’d highly recommend this property—great set-up, clean, comfortable, friendly, and beautiful. We’re very much considering a summer trip to enjoy the lake and numerous outdoor games.

Let me start off by saying that the magic is truly in the details. We were so impressed by all of the attention and care that went into every little aspect of the property. The entire time our party just kept commenting on how much time and thought must have gone into curating the perfect guest experience. From the labeled cabinets and drawers in the kitchen to the multiple portable speakers available for use—this place has it all and more.
The various amenities available for us to enjoy were so much fun and the property is truly beautiful. It is a wonderful place to relax and also have fun.

My family and I stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. From the moment of booking the property, the owner was in touch and was very kind about letting us check in a little early, since it was Christmas Eve. When we arrived, we were excited that the property was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures displayed. There were so many little touches that made it an experience above and beyond. From the gift basket on the table, to the well-stocked kitchen, to the amazing Master bed, it was awesome. Adequate bedding was one of the biggies for our group. The entire compound was great, the outdoor spaces gave us plenty of room to spread out and let the kids run and play. Fishing off the dock for some of our group. S'mores over the firepit. The hot tub was a big hit, as well. We will be back in the summer to take full advantage of the outdoor spaces. Besides the amazing location/property...the owner was such a cool guy and checked on us throughout our stay. It was a 10 out of 10!

I really enjoyed my stay at this lake house - I spent a long weekend there, just me and my dog (though the house will certainly hold many more people). The house was well-appointed, with all of the comforts I'd expect - a soft bed (with blackout curtains for sleeping in when you want!), an equipped kitchen, etc plus some extras like bluetooth speakers and hammocks for enjoying time outside. The multiple structures on the property means there's a lot to do without even leaving - I had fires in a few places, decompressed in the hot tub, read (and napped!) in the hammock, and watched some football out on the screened-in patio building. The view is unbeatable, and even with it being a little cold, I was able to take a kayak out on the water. I'm not a fisherman, but it I hear this is a great lake for it, and the dock looks to be set up for anything you'd need. I'll definitely book here again when I need to get away, and bring a few friends next time.
There is a small town about 20 minute away, for all of your necessities, and the owner was very responsive about any questions that I had, even the silly ones.
