The property is in an excellent location and it has a nice yard and deck for pets and enjoying the outdoors. Everything else was okay. It was way too hot in the afternoon and evenings. The sliding glass door has no screen and with pets, cannot be left open; not to mention all the beetles that would've come inside. There were only 2 small pans to cook with. The larger one was scratched up and unsafe to use. Granted we were visiting when it was between 85-90 in Tahoe, the cabin was too hot to use the oven. Once on, the shower is nice. However turning it on is very difficult; needs new fixtures. We were only supplied 4 washcloths for a family of 4 for 6 nights. More were brought to us, 24 hours after the initial request. Other products, soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc, was well stocked. My biggest complaint is with Vrbo. The price, cleaning fee and service fee is way overpriced for this property. Also, communication with Local VR and Vrbo with my reservation details was terrible. I changed the reservation from 7 nights to 6, before we arrived but I have still not received a price adjustment after many documented requests. I had to take the issue up with my bank to argue on my behalf because they stopped communicating with me.
Overall, if you are looking for an okay accomodation in an excellent neighborhood that accepts pets, this works. But please book local, not through Vrbo who financially screws you.

Love staying in Kings Beach. We choose this house because of the size we needed for a few days. It was perfect for 4 people - 2 being kids that could use the bunk bed and also the on-site pack 'n play. The door to the 2nd room didn't close because it barn door was off the track so the door had to stay open which was okay for our needs. Loved having an enclosed yard that was great for the dog. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, but we didn't have any oven mitts to use taking things out of the oven and only one dishtowel so next time I'll bring some things. If we were staying longer I think I'd prefer a place with a dishwasher and a washing machine but otherwise it was a nice stay for us.

We came to Lake Tahoe to celebrate my wife's birthday, do some hiking and catch some fall colors. The Mt. Airy Cottage was the perfect base from which to do those things. Easy walks to the lake and restaurants and short drives to lots of trailheads. The cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend it to others and hope we get a chance to come back again.

The property is in a great location. The front yard deck is very nice in the evening. The refrigerator went out the first night we were there. However, the management company quickly resolved the problem with a new refrigerator and credit for groceries no questions asked. There’s bound to be a problem when renting a property. The management’s speedy remedy with a kind attitude made all the difference. The cabin was well described and well stocked. We hope to stay there again next year!

Nice base for visiting the Tahoe area. House sits among trees with a deck for hanging out. Tennis courts next door a little noisy but not really a problem.

4 of us on a ski trip - great location - we hit Palisades, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar, Incline all with ease, plus great hiking locations on non-ski days, not far from XC ski area, walkable to small town center / coffee shop / lakefront/ marina. Short drive to good grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Loved the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, smart TV... VERY comfortable home amazingly well equipped. Responsive manager. 10 stars.

This place was everything we hoped for and more; the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the fire place was roaring, and the hot tub under the stars remains undefeated.
Ten stars, will be coming back!

The overall stay was great. The house is cozy and had everything we needed.
With the weather circumstances, we were a bit concern on how the check-out Policies would work and how we would be supported in case the conditions would be unsafe to leave.
Would be nice to have a better understanding and communication to address these external circumstances. Thank you.

We loved our stay at the Timberwood cabin! The location was perfect, and the cabin itself had everything you need. The kitchen was well-equipped and made meals easy. The fireplace, TV and assortment of games were perfect for a snowy long weekend. The hot tub was spotless and got a lot of use. Our two dogs loved it as well! We are super picky but would definitely return to this cabin

Even with the bad weather over the weekend we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to stay again in the future. Great amenities & location, very comfortable & cute. Really appreciated the info folder provided that thought of everything we would need.

Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Nice big deck nestled in the pines. Comfy beds and nicely remodeled bathrooms. Very pet friendly (although yard is not fenced in so if you bring your animals they likely need to be on a leash at all times). Warning though that with climate change and Tahoe temps in July hovering around 91-92 (heat of the day), the cabin heats up by afternoon like a sauna (95 inside) and no amount of door/window openings/cross ventilation will cool it down even late into the night. Fans provided helped a small amount but the heat makes it uncomfortable to sleep even after the outside temps drop into the 60’s. We spent a lot of time on the deck which is great but it gets hot in the sun out there by about 1-2pm. I’m sure this is a nice feature in the winter or more cooler temps but sadly not in mid July. With global warming, it might be worth considering a wall unit AC. Would def stay here again as the cabin is great but maybe not in July.

The place was nice and cozy. A small place, but perfect for our stay. Really great location—very close to the lake and a Safeway nearby.

Spent 10 days at the property with my doggo and girlfriend. Some family came in over the weekend and we had a great time hot tubbing, cooking, and cozy boardgames by the fire!

This place worked well for our family with 2 young kids and a dog! Note it is quite small and no dining room table (can sit at cute bar stools). Kitchen is small but very well stocked. Other thing to note is no dishwasher! Very dog friendly! Great location as only 5 min walk to beach with amazing views on Lake Tahoe!
