Nature lovers will absolutely adore this charming home, sitting right on the shore of Lake Cle Elum and offering an idyllic, tree-lined setting. It’s a one-minute walk to amazing water and mountain views, with scenic Speelyi Beach just a few minutes more. All the shops, restaurants, and amenities of Cle Elum are around seven miles away, while downtown Roslyn and the famous Brick Saloon, boutique shopping, and Sunday Farmers Market are roughly four miles away.
At home, brew some coffee each morning and revel in the quiet surroundings on your wraparound deck, watch the kids explore the outdoors via the backyard trails in the afternoon, and spend evenings gathered around the firepit, roasting marshmallows and admiring the stars. Inside, you’ll find an open layout, soaring ceilings, and abundant natural light thanks to a wall of windows onto the forest. The chef will love the well-equipped kitchen, with a full suite of appliances and plenty of countertop prep space. The littles can perch on the kitchen barstools to help, and the whole gang can sit down for a meal together at the 12-seat dining table. Kid-friendly extras include a high chair and a booster seat. Spend the day exploring, then get cozy in front of the wood-burning stove each evening. Entertainment options include two streaming-capable TVs and free WiFi. The night ends in any of three well-appointed bedrooms. Kids and adults alike will appreciate the cute kids sleeping nooks in the third bedroom. Fall asleep dreaming of your first - and next - perfect lake day.

We had a really great time with the whole family here. We brought a couple atv’s during our stay and they came in handy when riding down to speeliy beach !
The house is nice and cozy and very lean when we arrived. Kitchen came loaded with dishes, cups, pans etc with anything you would need! We wouldn’t mind staying here again 👍

What a lovely and peaceful cabin. Super short walk to the lake, right on a relaxing creek and nothing but peace and quiet. The whole family (including the dog) was sad to leave!

We had a fun filled weekend with 3 generations and 2 happy dogs at the Peak-a-View Lakehouse! We found the house to be clean, and comfortable with plenty of space to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy some puzzles and games. We really liked that there is a bedroom and bathrooms on the main floor, which worked great for Nana. All bedrooms were cozy, clean and comfy with lots of space. The easy walk to the lake was something we did several times a day, and the sound of the running creek while bird watching from the deck made for an awesome trip! Downtown Roslyn is close and has such a cool vibe, we enjoyed lunch at the Brick and some fun cocktails at Heritage. The Old #3 never disappoints with good food, drinks and banter with the bartender and some locals, and Village Pizza delivered to us, which was a nice surprise. We will for sure be back! Highly recommend this gem!!

We had an incredible time! I highly recommend. The house was perfect for our group (2 families with kids ranging from 9 to 16). The bunk beds were an absolute hit with the little ones. The older kids were out at the lake and in the snow all day, so, we appreciated that all were stone's throw away. We look forward to making more family memories here in the future.

The house is a dream. Fully equipped. We didn’t need to pack anything house related.
The house is beautifully decorated and well cared for.
One thing I would suggest would be to go through the board games. Some were missing pieces but we just substituted the missing pieces out for something different and we were able to play still.
Everything was super easy to find and the instruction book was a wonderful touch.
This was our first time renting a house for a weekend.
I really enjoyed our stay. Pretty sure it’s ruined hotels for me going forward

We are six friends that have worked together for years and have been making an annual pilgrimage from the Puget Sound area to Central Washington to attend the fun Ellensburg Winterhop brewfest. This was our second year staying at the Peak-a-View Lake House and we couldn't be more pleased. There were comfy beds for each of us and one of us even brought his dog along. We took turns cooking in the exceptionally well stocked kitchen, and even had a nice fire in the outdoor fire pit. I hope the house is still available next year.

We have been curious about exploring this area in Washington. Our weekend getaway was delightful—we played on the property, took short walks to the lake, soaked in the epic mountain views, and explored the local towns of Rosalyn and Cle Elum. You never know what to expect from a cabin, but it was super clean, fresh, and cozy. Love a home with a big dining table. We cooked multiple meals while enjoying a few meals out too. Our kids loved the bunk room and have not stopped talking about the coolest built-in beds! Mud room was spacious and it was great to toss our boots, coats, and beanies in that area before entering the living space. We look forward to returning to play in the snow and hopefully, see the lake in the summer.

Wonderful location and a great place to relax in nature.

We expected a pristine cabin in the woods, with a working television and a kitchen complete with necessary utensils and seasonings.
The rugs, of which there were too many and not secured in place (several tripping incidents) were tired and dirty. Going up the treacherous steps to the upper level, had stains….human or dog?
The chef in our group was exasperated by a hodge podge of cooking utensils, serving items, lack of seasonings, and no plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
Lastly, we tried and tried to get into the system for the television. I assumed turning it on would be all it takes. Nope. To access the streaming service, it kept telling us to use OUR Prime Streaming account. None of us have a Prime account. Contacting the property manager about this issue was useless. It was frustrating because the text (no return phone call) said it was stated that we told the situation for accessing the television. I looked at the listing and all it stated under amenities: television.
There’s too many VRBO rentals to choose from and I would have selected another. This rental was a disappointment.
Bottom line: I’ll never return to this rental.

Yearly family gatherings started for us a couple years ago and every year we try a new place. This is at the top of our list. Very close to the lake, every night we used the firepit, enough beds so we didn't have to share, large kitchen and table for all of us. It was perfect. Thank you!

Six current and former work colleagues have tried to make an annual pilgrimage to the mountains in winter for much of the past 15 years. We have stayed in many places over the years and we all agreed that this place has all the amenities that we look for, The kitchen is very well appointed and the wood stove keeps the whole cabin quite toasty.

The cabin fit all of us very well, plenty of room. The huge dinning table was great for games and puzzles. The mud room was great for all of our snow gear. The place could use a deep clean.

The cabin was the perfectly laid back family vacation we were seeking, with sledding, skiing, and bonfire marshmallow roasting all close by and plenty of room for us to spread out. It was an easy 35 minute drive to Snoqualmie Pass to ski. Morning coffee by the wood fire and reading books while the kids watched cartoons turned into sledding down the hill by the lake before 9 am. The included sleds were great to have since we only brought a couple of our own, it was a big help! We could sled for an hour and then walk just 1 minute back to the cabin for breakfast, or if someone forgot their left mitten or wanted to grab a beer, or needed a warm up. With 4 kids under 8 years old and 2 dogs the proximity was a huge convenience so we could go back out whenever! We also went on lazy walks around the lake shore and threw rocks into the iced over sections. We drove into CleElum for a beer at DruBru (also very family friendly) before returning for marshmallow roasting and a big family dinner.
The kitchen was well appointed for a big group with double sets of dishes and lots of utensils (the only thing we didn't find was a whisk.) There was even two eclectic griddles which was hugely convenient for pancakes and bacon for a group of 8 in the morning. The dining table easily sits 10 plus there's a lot of extra seating in the dining area with upholstered benches and the 3 stools at the kitchen island. No condiments are left in the fridge from previous guests so BYO mustard and hot sauce but there is salt, pepper, hot coca, marshmallows, and peppermints, and coffee and creamer provided which is really nice. We also appreciated the disposable plates, cups, and even the junk drawer with string and tape- it's the little things you don't think you'll need until the kids want to make a string and solo cup telephone to communicate between the awesome built in bunks. Having those things is what makes a house so much more convenient for our family than a hotel.
We played games at the big dining table each night, pulling from the cupboard of board games available. The kids toys in the playroom/bunk room also kept the little boys entertained for hours.
As parents, the huge mudroom with a side door entrance, with so many hooks for hanging dry clothes in between play sessions and keeping the house dry was one of those "oh thank God" things, and the dryer fits a ton.

This cozy & inviting home was an excellent fit for our family cross country ski trip. Our young children loved the sleeping arrangements & toys. It was near a few trail options & we deeply appreciated the wood stove when returning from a day of skiing.

This is a great location! Just 4 miles from Cascade Rentals. Great cosy cabin with lots of beds for friends and family. Plenty of dishes for everyone. Kitchen we'll stocked with cooking pans. Wonderful fireplace to warm up the cabin. The hosts provided shampoo samples and soap. There were enough towels for everyone. We had a wonderful time!

This was one of our favorite cabins in Washington (and we stay in lots of cabins haha). Super clean, beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked - even better than the pictures.

The perfect family getaway anytime of the year! Nestled at the end of a private lane with lots of space to park your toys this cabin is updated and fully stocked with all the amenities. We immediately felt at home and our kids especially loved the built in bunks. If you should choose to bring your pups, they too will have a luxury space to rest in. We would absolutely rent this cabin again in the future and recommend to all.

What a wonderful weekend we had at Peak-a-View! This cabin is cheerful, well-appointed, and in a fantastic location. Take a short walk to scenic Speelyi Beach, and only a few minutes' drive will get you to so many trailheads. When you come back to the cabin, the mud room is so convenient for taking off dirty hiking gear before cozying up to the firepit, or on the couch by the indoor wood-burner. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, including your pup! If you're looking for a cozy retreat in the PNW, this is the place.
