Die Lage ist perfekt für Ruhesuchende, Familien und Wanderlustige. Nur knapp 400m Fußweg zum Meer. Der Pool ist klein, aber ausreichend. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft.
Die Beschreibung der Zimmer und die eingestellten Fotos passen nicht überein. Es ist nicht eindeutig erkennbar, ob man das Zimmer im Innenhof, in der Einfahrt oder ganz oben hat. Lt. Beschreibung hat jedes Zimmer Balkon und Terrasse, was aber nur bedingt stimmt. Nur die ganz teuren Zimmer sind die ganz oben mit super Blick. Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort spricht nur Spanisch, leider kein Englisch.

We were three couples with two rental vehicles visiting from the U.S. to vacation and go snorkeling. The property has three bedrooms, each with a double bed and air conditioning. I enjoyed the small pool. (It was dirty when we arrived, but was cleaned the next day.) The WiFi worked well. We didn't really use the television much. There are some nice common areas with good views. The property is close to a number of beaches in the area that have good snorkeling. There are a number of nice restaurants in the area. The apartment has one bathroom, but there was a second bathroom with a shower out by the pool, as well as an outdoor shower for rinsing off. I felt the area was safe.
We had a hard time finding the place since it was on a small dirt road with no sign. The contact person did not speak English making communication difficult. (Fortunately, some of the people in our party were able to converse with Julia in Spanish.) Parking was horrible -- not enough spaces, not marked, on a very steep hill. The kitchen was disappointing: No oven, no toaster, no electric kettle, no dish towels, no hot pads, not enough dishes or silverware, lack of serving dishes, etc. We ended up having to buy some things at the store including garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc, as well as ant poison to get rid of the small ants in the kitchen. There were other things that did not meet our expectations. The beds were not comfortable, there was no hot water in the kitchen, the sinks and showers did not always drain properly, and there was the constant smell of sewage in the area for the entire two weeks we were there. We felt that the website listing was misleading and were expecting the place to be a little nicer. There was no laundry available but the host did one load for me and hung my laundry on the public railing by the community used area by the small pool, including my undergarments! the laundry came back just as dirty as before and did not smell clean, there was no place to even hang a wet towel from the beach so we had to simply hang them on railings in public areas on the property. We were told to not put used toilet paper in the toilet but to instead put it in the trash can in the bathroom! Ick!

Da wir nur zwei Personen waren, konnten wir uns das Schlafzimmer aussuchen. Daher war das Appartement für uns sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet.
Der Ausblick von der Terrasse zum Sonnenuntergang ist sehr schön.
Man braucht ein eigenes Auto für die Anfahrt und eine Hupe, um die Ankunft anzumelden. Wir dachten zuerst, dass wir an der falschen Adresse sind, da uns niemand aufmachte.
Alle Nachttischlampen hatten nicht den richtigen Stecker.

The view from our terrace was breathtaking. That’s the end of it.
Where should I start. You might be forgiven to think The property was built with no building codes in mind. It’s located on a hillside. The drive from the main road was on an unpaved ungraded dirt road (you may need a farm tractor not a car to reach the property). Once you get there you park your car on a very steep and narrow driveway (my 1.2L Toyota Agya engine struggled). Once in the apartment, Every step you make you should be careful not to hurt yourself. The kitchen is a big step down from the bedroom with no warning strips on the white tiles (Almost broke my ankle thinking it’s a flat floor). The TV is hanging on the wall next to the entrance of the bathroom (I hit my head twice in the dark going in and out of the bathroom). The towel hanger in the bathroom is placed on the wall right in front of the toilet, and at the toilet level (banged my head into it and injured my scalp getting up the toilet). The bedroom had no cross ventilation capability. You must use the noisy old AC unit to cool the space instead of taking advantage of the cool evening breeze outside.

La host es muy amable
El alojamiento indicaba en la reserva aseo diario; sin embargo en una estancia de 8 días, solo realizaron aseo una vez y nos indicaron que cobrarían si se solicitaba otro aseo. En el baño se empozaba el agua hasta cubrir los pies e inundar la parte de afuera y las camas por debajo tenían exceso de mota, mugre y polvo.

Very nice property in a good location in Westpunt. Room was as advertised and had a great deck for sun bathing or watching the sun set.
We rented a car through the property as well and would have liked to have had clearer communication regarding drop off & pickup procedures.

The view is amazing. Loved the veranda/porch. The host was very nice and helpful. The location is very convenient to enjoy Westpunt. Close to the beach(you could technically walk to playa forti)and several restaurants (forti restaurant/blue view/jaanchies/castaway/sol food etc). A +/- 15 min drive to minimarkets. Very peaceful and quiet environment. The dip pool was clean and had a nice temperature. Bbq utilities on the premises. Cot for baby available. Heater in shower. Will definitely be back. (P.s. the dog is very friendly)
There is not much to not like. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. This is an affordable and very pleasant accommodation to spend a few days enjoying nature at Westpunt.

The huge terrace with a fantastic ocean view. The area is very quiet and away from everything other than the best beaches in Curacao, that’s what I was looking for. If you want to be in the middle of everything this is not the place for you. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished and the host, Juliette is always available if you need anything. The small pool is nice for a quick dip at the end of the day.
The short road to get to the property is not paved and not in the best conditions. The couch on the terrace was not comfortable because of the plastic cushions. The mattress was too hard for my liking.

We had a couple of visitors because it was our daughters 15th birthday, the host did not like this even though we did tell them that it was our daughters birthday. they wanted to charge us $35 per extra person, mind you that they did not stay over. they did stay over a bit late ... playing board games.

- Unfortunately we haven't the apartment with the seaview, which is on the pictures.
- No Wifi access in our apartment
- Tap water was not enjoyable
- Owner couldn't speak English (no conversation possible)
- Owner-team was very disorganised.
- Payment with card not possible, they told us this fact at morning from our departure. We should pay in a gas station or cash. Very unprofessionell procedure.

The apartment building is located in a very scenic area. The hostess and the owner were very nice and gracious. The hostess was very helpful and available all the time. I traveled alone and felt safe. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary to make you have a comfortable stay.
Other section of the building was rented out to locals (acquaintances of the owner) and they were very loud and not considerate of other visitors wanting to relax. I think it's best not to rent the place out to a large group of locals when you have visitors who want to relax and have a peaceful time in the gorgeous apartment.
