About this house rental
10 minutes from I-90 find a mountain retreat with a blend of contemporary and rustic furniture. Get-away for hunting, fishing, day trips to Lewis & Clark caverns, Butte and Bozeman areas. Mountain views, wildlife sightings, horse corrals/arena. Cross country skiing, hiking. Cook in large, open, fully equipped kitchen. Read, play games. Take time for long, wonderful conversations in spacious living room or naps in large bedrooms. 1-3 couples, families w/ kids.
Overlook the Highland Mountains as you gather in the big room for connection over a home-cooked meal, board game, or movie night. The house has big picture windows facing West for dramatic views of nature and Montana's wild beauty.
This is a must-stay with both inside and outside beauty. Handmade, rustic wood accent pieces blend with attractive comfortable furniture and classic contemporary and folk art. Warm in the winter, cool summer nights. Access to local, hidden hot springs and Thompson Park for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. There are also close-by horse trail rides and hunting expedition trips. Something for everyone and an inviting space for all.
KITCHEN
The large and spacious kitchen overlooks the great room containing the open-layout dining space and living rooms. The fully stocked kitchen has everything from pots and pans and utensils to spices and coffee and tea. One of our favorite features of the kitchen is two sinks as well as two stove tops (6 burners total), making it easy to cook and enjoy family meals together.
BEDROOMS
There are 3 traditional bedrooms in our home, each with West-facing windows if you care to wake up looking at the mountains! Or close the curtains for a darker night and morning's sleep. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets as well as portable fans (AND overhead fans) for those who like to sleep with the air moving overhead.
Two queen bedrooms have small TVS for those who like to go to sleep watching shows or listening to the sound of voices lulling them to sleep. The master bedroom does not have a TV, but instead has a desk. The master bedoom also has an ensuite bathroom with both shower and deep and long soaking bath tub.
The two queen bedrooms share a bathroom that has a shower tub combination.
LAUNDRY
We have a washer dryer on-site and provide laundry detergent for those who want to be able to do laundry during their stay.
We'll be available to assist with your reservation as needed. You'll have the whole house to yourself.
We are 9 minutes out of the quaint town of Whitehall that has grocery, saloons, gift shops, gas, everything you need.
You will need your own vehicle. Lots of parking.
PETS
We are happy to host pets disclosed in advance. We charge $50 per pet per stay.

Close proximity to Pipestone for our riding, excellent location for that. Was extremely hot week on Montana, could have used AC.

We had a wonderful time. This place was great. We especially appreciated the garage because it was pouring rain when we arrived. We didn't get enough time to stay in the house and wonder the property but it is definitely a place i would return to stay.

We cannot say enough about the host and our accommodations. We were able to complete the rental process quickly after another rental did not pan out. Older home, with upgrades and very clean. The views from the front porch - breathtaking. Solitude like no other.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house outside of Whitehall, Montana. It's a gem with lots of space and plenty of beautiful vistas right outside. Clean, it had plenty of room for us and a friendly vibe.

We gathered to visit family in Three Forks for Thanksgiving and it was also our yearly hunting trip . It was a great place to stay . The house is very clean. It is spacious and has lots of room to cook in the huge kitchen or to visit in the living
room . An area also for kids to sit and play games. The view is amazing and a very peaceful place to stay . It is definitely a place to use as a base camp for exploring the area.

This clean, well-designed home is easy to get to but quite tucked away among trees and rock outcroppings at the top of a ranch compound. The views of the hills and mountains are rich and beautiful. We hope to come back!!
