Each bedroom is outfitted with its own bathroom and heated floors; two bedrooms have access to the deck. Enjoy enchanting ocean views from every bedroom, living room, and kitchen! No need to worry about lugging groceries up the stairs; this home has its own elevator for your convenience. The chef of your group will love the large, fully-equipped kitchen for whipping up gourmet meals.

Island attractions and downtown Charleston are just a short drive away. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pros: - A lovely home and neighborhood! We briefly met the owners on their way out and they were very nice - Clean & welcoming property - Even though it's the 2nd house in, there is a view of the ocean and easy walk to the beach - Two outdoor showers, spigots for feet washes, large porch, all around perfect for our family vacation - Local property manager was very responsive via email and text number - Trash/recycle bins were taken out and back from the curb a few times during the week for pickup Cons: - Largest negative (and we kind of read this between the lines in previousreviews) - the national property management contacts were not any help at all - even rude on the phone. They seem to know nothing beyond what is written in the description on the VACASA site. - Parking is only for two cars. If you have more, contact the local property agent via email address provided (the IOP one) to see if additional spaces are available - I think because the owners were gone, we did get one extra pass - There is not a pool - it is a wonderful extra large spa/hot tub, but definitely not a pool.

This home is so beautiful! We love every part of this place. The short walk to the beach and all of the new amenities are lovely! We will for sure be back!

We enjoyed the house very much! The hot tub was perfect for our mid April visit, and just a short walk to the beach. Perfect for our group of 8!

We love this house and that each bedroom has a bathroom. Large open floor plan. The hot tub and ocean view is the main attraction. The house is clean and beautiful. However, the price has doubled since last year. The fees are ridiculously high, so although we have stayed here twice and absolutely love it, the price increase is just too high for another stay.

Per listing 9 Parking spots and 11 guests. Also the post does not say the private residence will be OCCUPIED, given the premium cost of this location we would have never picked this property knowing the house is shared as we heard foot steps and the elevator going and the driveway needed to be shared. On Saturday night the property vacasa people texted me saying that now I can only have 8 people at the property and 2 cars. When I asked about listing discrepancy they said “sorry listing hasn’t been updated”. Then they said that quiet hours are now 930pm when listing says 10pm and we were not loud at all. Totally unacceptable. Will not return or use Vacasa/vrbo properties again given we rented under false pretenses

I can't say there was anything we loved about our stay from 11/21-11/27. A little background on why we chose 7 Beachwood East the house was listed as "NEW" with internet, TV's for watching, big amenity was an 8 person hot tub. That was our attention getter because our group had 6 kids ranging 12-21. The weather we knew would be chilly so the hot tub sold the house as well as being NEW. We arrived on Monday 11/21 check in time 4:00. Tuesday 11/22 we made a grocery store run for essentials including Thanksgiving meal prep for Thursday. The kids got in the hot tub on Tuesday noticed slight itchiness from one of the kids but thought nothing of it. On Wednesday evening the water level was low and began to look cloudy with a "fishy" smell. We also had experienced issues with the WiFi TV's were not working. We made a call to Vacasa which handles renting the house. The agent came out on Thursday morning, but to no avail the TV's, wifi, and hot tub were no usable. We missed the Macy's parade, all football games, and no hot tub. On Friday morning 11/25 the spa guy came around 9:30am shocked the hot tub said, "There were no chemicals in the hot tub." In his words it was nasty and wasn't even on the rotation to get treated until around 12/15. We had paid our money but was not told the hot tub just had bathwater in it. The shock lasted from Friday until Saturday cloudy water, strong smell of fish, no maintenance chemicals were added by the spa guy because the owner had them locked up with no key to access them. In the meantime, a guy came about the Wifi, found the modem on the top floor which is not accessible to renters only the owners. He flipped the modem switch and like magic we had TV and internet on Friday around 11:00am. That could have been fixed on Thursday. Around 11:30am on Friday the hot water went out in the master bath and back right corner bedroom. This was confirmed from the same guy who fixed the Wifi but said he wasn't a plumber. So no hot water in above bathrooms when we departed the home on Sunday 11/27. Minor details but major for renters no grill brush for the grill, no hose to even put water in the hot tub because we were told there was a "special kind of water " that had to be added. This was false after confirming with the spa guy that hose water is required. The glass doors to deck have locks but extremely hard to get the doors locked. I don't usually like to be negative but I don't want another family to endure this on vacation. The house is new but was not ready for renters and should not have been put on the website until the house was ready.
