Our stay was comfortable and felt safe. Its a small town has lots of small shops. The hotel has a nice swimming pool all to yourself and a nice private area. The hotel owner is a very nice lady, gave us a good rate to stay a second day. The room was very clean and spotless. If you descide to stay, you won’t be disappointed👍. Although alot of the small restaurants does closes early and open late is what we found out. Although we still enjoyed our stay.

3rd time staying here. Nice quiet country life. There are critters, wildlife and bugs, so be prepared. Looking forward to our next visit here.

Nice, quiet location. Not a hotel. Walking path are gravel and hard to walk on much less pull a suitcase. Room was clean but very humid. Just stayed overnight.

What a gem of a place! Rooms were clean and spacious. I appreciated the text messages making sure we were comfortable and letting us know of features around the property including their new speakeasy! Speaking of, Mollie is fantastic. Wealth of knowledge and a fantastic mixologist. We are planning our next trip out and we know where we will be staying.

We love this little hidden jewel in the hill country!!

The property was so neat. The staff was extremely nice!! We loved the little dining area and bright our takeout in there too eat dinner each night instead of in our room. Our stay was enjoyable.
Only complaint would be things didn't feel as clean as I'd hoped. Our room had stuff splattered on the wall. Your feet felt dirty walking around on the floor with no shoes on. (Had to dust our feet off before getting into the bed) The bathtub felt grimy and felt like I should have had shower shoes with me. Under the bed was full of dust and trash..our pajamas fell under there one day and I dreaded having to put them on the sleep that night.
The covers were very very soft, the bed was comfortable. Overall it wasn't terrible, mostly just cleanliness is what hurt the review the most. Every other aspect was great!

Second time staying here... room is a little outdated. The location, pool, and outdoor surroundings are great and relaxing. I will stay here again.

Beautiful facility with so many options for rooms. Cute hotel that's easy driving distance to multiple destinations in Fredericksburg, Kerrville, or Boerne. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The experience was phenomenal, this type hotel are the one that gives you an unique experience. This is the type of business I will always support, especially on small town. I felt that I was more than welcome, I felt that I was at home. Thx a lot to the management.

Too loud A/C, we barely sleep with all the noise. Bathroom door can not be closed properly or locked. Not so clean. For the price $$ we expected more!

What a hidden gem in the darling town of Comfort, Texas. After attending a memorial service further west in Texas, I decided to find a place to stay closer to the San Antonio airport and came across the Meyer Hotel online. What a find. Peaceful, quaint, a very lovely room and beautiful grounds, just a very short walk to the charming downtown. My only wish was that I could have stayed longer. If you need a quiet place of respite, stay here a few days. Check in and check out was contactless, but the management team was in close contact and everything was seamless. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Meyer Hotel and you will too!

Meyer Hotel is a true gem! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are unique and comfortable, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We enjoyed the sparkling clean pool and enjoyed watching the deer grazing each night. It was such a peaceful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Huge, handicap-friendly, 2-queen bed room. Furnishings were very nice.
Recommend more than 1 tiny hand soap, though, for 2 people.

We had an amazing stay here. The property was beautiful, relaxing, and quiet. The double queen room was so spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool was fantastic as well. I never knew Comfort offered such a wonderful setting. This will definitely be our go to place when we visit Fredericksburg or San Antonio. It's conveniently placed between the two. We can't wait to stay again!

We have stayed at this location before and have had positive exeperiences in the past however, this time around, our experience was anything but positive. First, our reservation was canceled because although i had selected to pay at facility, apparently the facility mgnt attempted to bill me on an old cc that Hotels.com had on file. They also apparently tried to reach but dialed an incorrect area code. Kim was nice and pleasant and helped rebook my reservation over the telephone. The room itself was cute but felt extremely unsanitary with multiple visible stains on carpet and walls. Also, the room felt extremly humid and had a strong moldy/old smell to it that never fully went away. The shower head frm hell made us regret the option to shower and the noise for us was the worst part. With no mgnt or staff on site, guests are pretty muvh at the mercy of themselves and a bacholrette party booked on the villa next to us provided all the noise and rucus to ruin an entire weekend. We ended up packing our bags at 2am and decided to jst drive back home (5 hrs away) in hopes of getting some much needed rest. I would advise anyone looking to book to strongly consider what it is you're booking. The property caters to vintage and charm however, thats all.nice so long as the vintage doesnt cross the line into filthy and jst plain gross. The views are incredible and the property itself is very picturesque, jat be cafeful of which room you select and definitely read the fine print.

Quaint and good for a day or two, nice pool, really enjoyed the big bath tub and cloud soft bed, was a little out dated and smelled old but that is to be expected from an older hotel. Appreciated the character and walking distance to a pizza place. We enjoyed the warm dim ambiance of the room and the cozy property. Great memories made; thank you!

We loved our stay at the Meyer Hotel.
It’s very antique vibe and it’s so cute. We had amazing 24/7 communication via text. It’s the perfect place to relax. Only about 30 minutes from Fredericksburg for food and 30/45 from San Antonio. I will be coming back! We relaxed watching the deer in the evening. The only thing was the fire wasn’t wanting to stay on but other than that it felt VERY safe. I know the town can look very outdated and scary to some but we felt very homey and safe with our car parked on the road.

Very charming place. The hotel are multiple houses. Ours was a bedroom with a separate bath and living room complete with a fireplace. Beautiful back deck with barbecue pits and fire pits overlooking a creek in the distance. Grounds are well manicured. Nice large pool. Very quiet area.

Most important to me is always comfortable beds and cleanliness. The Meyer Hotel delivers both! The bed was on the softer side and very comfortable, the room was clean, and the grounds are charming. Really enjoyed sitting on the many patios in the evening by the creek, watching the deer and fireflies. Live music one evening outside was a special treat as well.

Great place to stay, the room was clean and decorated beautifully. The private porch was so relaxing. We definitely stay here again.

Everything was so awesome here! Beautiful place, comfy bed, great people! The only little tiny thing is the parking by the street, especially if you are riding a motorcycle makes me nervous that someone will steal them. But it's a good area.

This hotel was a lot of fun. There is a lot to explore on the grounds of the property and the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again.

This property has changed ownership who are making changes not thinking of their clients. The furniture in the rooms are uncomfortable, worn down. Linen’s are shabby, dust an inch thick on blinds , tubs faucets are covered in lime, tub is awful. Parking street only not able to park close in anymore. You have to carry your luggage through the gravel. Needless to say wouldn’t recommend the place. I have never given anyone a bad review. The loud obnoxious people in the next room who partied for hours where the icing on the cake.😒

From the moment we arrived, we found ourselves begin to decompress. Road weary from five days of traveling, three different hotels, we found the Meyer Hotel to be exactly what we needed. We didn't even unpack before my husband and I sat on the deck with a couple of cold drinks while our son went down to explore the creek. This is a delightful property - beautifully restored historic buildings, phenomenal outside space, comfortable beds and great amenities. We can't wait to come back!

Cute turn of the century inn but with all of the modern conveniences!
