Bad location in a dark back-street. Not the room I ordered. Doors with many tricky keys. Big room. AC working. Shower dysfunctional. Bed-bugs!

My short stay here was perfect, the reception area is beautiful and the staff are very nice and helpful. The building my room was located in was always kept clean and very quiet.

From the minute we arrived at Isac David, everybody was so friendly & helpful. Teddy in particular was full of great advice for first timers in Havana. David was amazing in booking tours & being our guide on one of them. There are a few locations where you may be staying, we were staying a couple of streets away from the main Casa which was fine with us. Central Habana is a busy, noisy area, luckily our room was at the back of the Casa. There aren’t a lot of places to eat close by but Parque Central is only a couple of mins walk.

The place is beautiful and very affordable, they picked us up from the airport at 23h for $25, however, they seem too focused on getting as much money from you as possible.
- after a couple of days we changed our reservation to visit another town, when we came they'd forgotten about our reservation and had already rented all the rooms, so they decided to put us in their cousin's apartment, which lacked a basic shower and was in a neglected residential apartment building! we refused so they found us a hotel room in another colonial house.
- Another things, they exchanged our usd at the rate of 230, however when we wanted to pay for a collectivo with pesos, they charged us at the rate 280!! in the same day! After that we've been exchanging our money on the street for 250/260 all the time.
- They charged us $70usd for a collectivo to another town, we found out the average is $50. moreover, this collectivo took longer than they said and we had to change cars, plus our suitcase and clothes inside were wet when we arrived (bad car trunk) since it was raining the whole way.
- Breakfast is over priced, you will easily get better breakfast for half the price. (they charge $16usd for 2, at restaurants we would get a nice big breakfast for $10 for 2 or less.

First time in Cuba, i had the chance to stay at Isaac David´s place. Quiet, helpful and welcoming team, well located and solution-oriented when we need something or have a question....Taxi waiting for me at the airport, great meals at the hotel, everything made easy! Happy to discover Habana with them! P.G., Canada

Amazing colonial house!!!!! The patio is so beautiful!!! The location is at walking distance to many attractions (it’s one block from the famous restaurant San Cristobal where people like Obama and Beyoncé had dinner). It was only one day, I wish I can stay longer next time

The people that worked there were very helpful and competent - very good English level and answered answers all questions we had. Special mention to Greece (may be spelt wrong) for her amazing English competency. The building was situated in the ‘normal’ streets of Havana so you could see what real life was like for the people there, but was also about a 10 minute walk to the old city centre. It felt very safe to walk around (even as women alone). The hotel rooms had everything that we needed and the rooms were huge - there were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling! The hotel also organised taxis from the airport and back, trips to the new town, trips across the water to see the daily closing of the wall celebration and a trip to the beach for the day. The breakfast buffets were delicious and there was a lot of choice - and the timings were really beneficial. We went from Havana down to the East of Cuba and then returned to the hotel when we came back cause we liked it so much. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for one night intransiting. The coordination for the taxi pick up was seamless and he was right there to pick me up. I arrived at the hostal to sign in and then was told I would be staying at a second location not too far away but it sure was a walk of what was either 3 or 4 blocks away from tbe reception. Breakfast, drinks etc are all available at the reception location but not at the second so that was extremely inconvenient. Staff are kind and accommodating especially since I checked out late and it was not an issue. The main issue I had was the leaky AC. I had to put the garbage bucket below to catch the water from all the droplets, which by morning time was quite a lot. The shower had no shower curtain and the toilet was placed very near it so while taking a shower the rest of the bathroom got quite wet. The bed was super comfortable and even with the small bathroom all fixtures were perfectly in tact and cleanliness a perfect 10. This place is also a short walking distance from the central area which is nice, though the surrounding area looks a little dilapidated unfortunately that seems to be the look for majority of the neighborhoods but the people were friendly and we felt quite safe. I would stay here a second time but a shower curtain and a food and refreshment space in the area I am staying would make the stay more pleasurable.

Stayed two nights at Isa David with my family. We were 6 people with a baby. Staff was very helpfull with everything. Cheap, quiet and very clean place close to everything. There is a very busy and nice commercial street close by where you can find small commodities. Why spend more?
