About this house rental

The Elms is a detached architect-designed brick building which stands in its own grounds, within the Woodland View area of our site. The barn has been designed to provide optimum space, comfort and privacy for up to 8 guests. The barn is situated in a traditional Lincolnshire country lane bordered with wild flowers in the summer, yet only a 10-minute drive from the beautiful and historic city of Lincoln buzzing with an eclectic range of shopping areas, quirky cafes and vibrant nightlife. Whether you would like to stroll down the peaceful country lane to explore the nature reserve and woodland, visit the on-site lake or take a trip to the city or surrounding beauty spots, Ashlin Farm Barns is the perfect place for your staycation.

The exterior of the barn is traditional in design, complimenting the Lincolnshire landscape. The large contemporary and comfortable open-plan interior is warm and welcoming with an attractive, quality finish with style and comfort throughout. The kitchen is very well-stocked and has everything you need from the drinks cooler to the washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for self-catering accommodation. Gather your family and friends around the large dining table to enjoy some food before sinking into the 8 seater sofa and cosying up in front of the roaring log burner. Throughout your stay, logs are provided in addition to underfloor heating to keep you warm during your stay.

Beyond the comfort of the main kitchen, dining and living area are four super-king size bedrooms, all of which can be split into two twin beds, if you prefer. There is one bedroom located on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the first floor, each individually styled with their own en-suite facilities and wall mounted TV’s. Other facilities in The Elms include a separate utility room (with a washing machine, drying machine and an additional fridge), and a separate family bathroom with a bath tub.

To the front is a large private entrance space driveway. To the rear, The Elms boasts an enclosed private garden, whereby the west-facing aspect allows you to enjoy the beautiful country sunsets. The garden has the luxury of its own huge swim spa that comfortably seats your entire group, a heated outdoor shower, illuminated seating area and barbecue. Not forgetting the garden room, a separate space to enjoy with its own sheltered seating and bi-folding doors looking onto the pretty country style garden. Come day or night, the garden is the perfect space for relaxing with family or friends, whatever the occasion.
