Clean and comfortable

We only stayed for 2 nights here but the room was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the aircon was good. We also arranged bus tickets for our onwards journey with Sreyvin over WhatsApp who was extremely helpful and kind. We also got picked up from the bus station on arrival for free which was amazing after a hot bus journey.

Not the property, but we organised the tour to go see the killing caves and the bat caves, and wouldn’t really recommend. The guide didn’t give any information he was essentially just an expensive taxi driver - could do it much cheaper if you just got a grab or hired a scooter for the day!

Loved our stay here so much! The staff were amazing, the room was great, location is fantastic. Organised a really great tour through the accommodation. Amazing!

台所で使う調味料が、全くないも置いてなった。連絡すると、直ぐに届けてくれた。洗濯機も中庭のはずれの調理場付近に在り、民宿の備品の洗濯専用である。洗濯したいとの要望を伝えると、親切に使い方の説明をしてくださった。市場は３００m先に在り、朝６時からの食材の買出しに便利であった

洗濯した衣類の干場がなく、施設の中庭の片隅に干した。浴室の排水口周辺に、毎回、ミミズのような虫が蠢いていた。窓が少ない。掃除が、中途半端である。 mini-vanの乗車券の手配は、簡単にできた。しかしTokTokは時間通りに迎えに来なかった。バス停に行くと、バスが遅れていると、初めて知らされ１時間以上も待った。民宿の管理人は、バス会社との情報交換が、全くできていない。旅行者は、ご自分で、バス切符の手配や迎えのTokTokno手配をするのが、精神的苦痛も少なく、最適です。民宿の場所が、居酒屋Nary Kitcenの裏側にあり、地図にも載っていない。バス停からは、どんなに近くとも、TokTokで行くことを進めます。歩いていくと必ず道に迷う。

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft im Herzen der Stadt

Die Eigentümerin war immer sehr schnell erreichbar und oft abends auch im Haus. Alle anderen waren auch sehr freundlich, wobei die Kommunikation etwas schwieriger war. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt und das Zimmer absolut ausreichend.

Derzeit wird gerade renoviert, daher sind die schönen Außenanlagen auf Booking.com etwas eingeschränkt.

Fijne plek van waaruit je Battambang kunt ontdekken

Heerlijk om op jezelf te kunnen zijn en je niet per se buiten de deur moet eten.

Op de foto’s leek het mooier dan het was, maar wel heel functioneel en lieve mensen.

Great host, in the heart of Battambang

Great location, feeling like home! Friendly host, very polite.

Nothing but we wish to check some switches for the lights need to be checked, of those can be fixed, this is the best Homestay in Battambang. Also, if possible we could easily small fan as an alternative.

Günstiig, gut, ziemlich neu

Günstige und saubere Unterkunft, es gibt 3 ebenerdige Zimmer mit AC, großer Kühlschrank, kleine Küche mit Pfannen und Gaskocher, großem Bett, alles ziemlich neu. Bad auch ziemlich neu und sauber. Man kann draußen sitzen, aber es sind nur ein paar Baststühle in einem kleinen Hof. Kommunikation läuft über whatsapp, klappt perfekt.

Battambang ist insgesamt sehr staubig.

The apartment is really well situated (next to 2 of the best restaurants in town) and really clean.

Jederzeit würden wir wieder kommen.

Familiär geführtes Gästehaus mit 3 Zimmer. Für den Preis super gut. Toll gelegen, fussläufig war alles erreichbar. Nebenan zwei tolle Restaurants, Nary Kitchen und Coconut Lilly. Beide bieten Kochkurse an - unbedingt ausprobieren.

Cheap, handy stay but not great.

Room is really spacious, good size bathroom, has a little kitchenette thing although we didn’t use it. The location is good. The tuktuk driver who collected us from the bus station and then drove us round the next day was brilliant and helpful. It was a cheap stay so you get what you pay for. Handy for a couple of nights.

It was quite noisy outside our room in the mornings. We weren’t given towels which is does say are provided, and when you come out the bathroom after having a shower there’s no towel for the floor so you step with wet feet onto the marble floor which becomes extremely slippery. The shower makes the whole bathroom wet. Basic room and facilities. When we arrived we were shown to our room by the tuktuk driver and no one introduced themselves so we had no idea who was in charge/who to talk to if needed. The owner did introduce herself on our second (and last) night but it was a bit late by then.

Nice experience to stay at a local family! And also very cheap!

It’s a nice hideout from busy Battambang. The family is very friendly, but keep in mind that they can’t speak English. Furthermore, it’s just a yard behind a restaurant. So, no reception, swimming pool or anything else. However, the rooms are clean and nice.

The gate was sometimes closed after I came from a night out. It would be better if the family could provide a key.

Good location and very friendly staff.

The kitchen part of our accommodation was very makeshift. When we had them do laundry it didn’t get very clean or fully dry so we had to re dry everything.

We loved our stay at Mother' House, a great start to our trip in Cambodia.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mother's House, we had a warm welcome, Sreyvin even went and got us a Cambodian sim card and helped us set it up. She organised a super nice driver and guide to see some sites for us the next day. The room was big and exceptionally clean. The aircon was the best one so far! The location is very central but quiet. The food from next doors Nary kitchen is amazing.

The garden area is nice but not private and you hear neighbours very early in the morning. Saying that we slept very well at Mother's House.

Comfortable and easy

Cute little room thoughtfully laid out. Ground floor, seemed to be one of only 3? Excellent air con and fan. Main focus of staff is the cooking lessons next door, it would especially suit those who were doing the class. Wonderful meal at that restaurant.

The room was big and the shower was clean.

A strong smell of humidity hit us in our faces as soon as we entered the room, sheets, pillow covers and towels smell this way as well. A lot of noise wakes you up at 7 am, kids playing and noise from the people that apparently live there.

Perfect!

We had a great time at Mother's House. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the property well located. But what we liked best was Vin and her family. They were super helpful and very welcoming. Many thanks again! We can therefore warmly recommend a stay to everyone!

Amazing find, big rooms

Lovely big room, shower was good, great value for money. Staff were lovely and the restuarents next door was amazing ran by the family.

Few mosquitos in the room but that can’t be helped.

Exceptional

The location was very great, it is in the central, very close to the central market and many coffee shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a new air conditioner, and also a small kitchen that you can cook. I stay here feeling like my home. Fi-Wi is very fast that's good for the guest who needs to do some work like me. With a garden, some plants, hammock where you can take a nap on. I will come here often when I come to Battambang.

Nice room and friendly owners . My car had a flat tire and the owner did everything to help me fix the tire

There was a lot of hair in the shower and the drain get clogged by it . It's a bit disgusting other people's hair in the shower drain. Also there was almost no shower soap available

Lovely homestay in the heart of Battambang

Lovely family. Great location. Good shower, comfy beds & very good aircon. Fridge in room with water was really good.

It was really nice but as it’s a new room it just needs to improve a few little things… Some shelf storage & night light above the bed for reading would be great. Improving the Wi-Fi - wasn’t good at all during our stay. There are lot of ants in the common area - we’re used to this in SE Asia, but there were so many! More seating and tables outside of rooms - especially when it’s busy! Sounds like a lot, but just little improvements could make this place so nice!

A comfortable stay with good facilities

Ladies running it were very nice and friendly. The room is newly built and although it is on their home property it is private and very spacious and clean. There is a cooking school next door run by their uncle but we didn't get a chance to do it, however we ate there and it was good food.

This is an amazing small family property. Staff is very helpful, kind and friendly, they gave me lots of tourist info. Location is great, in the city centre, near by market, but located in a small street , so is calm and silent. My room was spacious, very clean and fully furnished even for cooking. Everything was perfect: cleanliness , high speed WIFI, AC, comfortable big bed, beautiful hidden terrace in front of the room, they also provide cooking courses in next hotel restaurant. and delicious banana dessert in front of the house.

The location was great. The staff is really nice. They offer good food for reasonable prices. I had a problem with my first room as it was close to a local family who talked loudly until very late in the night and they moved me to another room without any issues.

The place itself is not really silent. The door of my second room didn't lock easily. It wasn't a real problem and maybe they fixed it, but it was a bit annoying and I think it is worth saying.

Perfectly located guesthouse with great hosts

The hosts were really kind and the location was absolutely perfect; also, we had a really great Tuktuk driver (Mr. Ramt) with whom we had the best tour ever!

Located very central and in a nice neighborhood. next to two very good restaurants and coffee places right at the end of the road. very friendly and warm hosts. definitely try the home made banana-coconut cake!!

Stay like home with kind hosts

Best stay in Cambodia. The rooms was big, clean and confortable. The staff is very kind and they helped us with everything. You can do laundry and we had a fully equipped kitchen. We truly felt like home with some great neighbors. Also a good location in town. I would definitely recommend.

Big room, clean, central and have everything you need

The room very clean, beautiful and big. The staffs very friendly and kind. The location is very central have many Restaurant and coffee shop near by just 5 minute walk. Have kitchen with full equipped you can cook everything you want, it is very good value of money. 100% recommend to other guests. I will come back again because it is my favorite place to stay with safe in Battambang.

Central & homely stay close to great food and amazing coffee in Battambang!

Super central location in Battambang, walkable to a lot of cafes, restaurants and galleries. The host’s family are welcoming and very helpful, I could text the host with any questions! You have an independent kitchen, so can even cook if you’re staying for a few days (which I recommend).

The only thing that might not be for everyone was the cold shower that I had.
