Awesome place to stay, both for full moon and leisure

Best place to stay at Haad Rin, the staff was awesome and I love Daniel and his wife. I was there after the full moon party and during low season, but I still had such a great time there. They were so caring and always tried to give you the best time there!

Nothing tbh. If only one thing the mattress could be a little bit more comfortable

Best of koh phangan

Amazing place very friendly and helpfull stuff , tha atmosphère between the guests is soo cool. Definitely will come back. I stayed on shared room and its comfortable ,they have many bathroom and always clean

Best hostel I’ve stayed in by a long way

Would give this place an 11 if I could, staff are awesome people, rooms are super comfy and the common area has so much to do and has such an inclusive vibe! Couldn’t recommend it more

Absolute Empfehlung

Einer der besten Hostels bisher auf meiner Reise. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich. Es ist Social. Aber es gibt auch viele Möglichkeiten zum chillen wenn man mal seine Ruhe braucht. Perfekter Mix. Absolute Empfehlung:) Vorallem der 4rer dorm mit schönstem Balkon!

Der perfekte Ort, um mit anderen Reisenden in Austausch zu kommen

Die Stimmung im Hostel ist super! Das Team ist immer freundlich und so hilfsbereit, es ist eine total schöne Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause oder bei Freunden. Man kann mit Blick auf den See entspannen oder spielen (X-Box, Kicker, Billard und vieles mehr). Das Essen ist günstig und so lecker! Wir haben fast nur dort gegessen. Hideout Hostel ist der perfekte Ort, um mit anderen Reisenden in Austausch zu kommen. Unser Zimmer wurde täglich sauber gemacht, was echt super ist für ein Hostel. Der Strand ist in 5 min erreichbar!

Good if you lower your standards

Close to everything in Haad Rin. The common area is nice.

32 bed cramped dorm in new building. Just 3 washrooms Forgot our chargers and got back a couple of hours later to find out they were gone

Du confort et des rencontres !

Les lits étaient extrêmement confortables, on s'y sent comme à la maison ! Le cadre et le bar sont très agréables et propices aux rencontres (jeux, rooftop... ). Le personnel est très sympathique. La localisation est parfaite, et il y a un excellent restaurant à l'angle de la rue :)

La pression faible dans les douches, mais c'est un détail ! Je regrette que l'auberge n'organise pas plus d'évènements au bar le soir, histoire de le dynamiser un peu (mais ça dépend des soirs en réalité, et de la période).

Best hostel in Koh Phangan

The room & bed are clean and inviting, the staff is so nice, the bar/hangout area is so fun that i've spend there a whole week, leaving with a taste for more!

Chambres moins bien que sur photos Sombres et petites SDB pas très fraîche Pas de casier dans chambres mais dans bureau de la direction qui est inaccessible de 22h à 8h il me semble

Great location.

Location was close to Haad Rin and size of hostel was very big, and lots of interactive evenings for guests The hosts were also helpful.

Was unprepared to see how openly recreational plants were used here and on the island, but this appeared the norm and part of the culture. For non- smokers like me, this was not always deal.

Nice dorm not so comfortable type of bed

Location is good, dorms and bathroom was clean and nice! Food was good too and reasonable price.

Beds have spring cushion and it’s not nice for back especially if you had a long tiring day!

Superb

Awesome communal area overlooking a lagoon. Excellent food, cheap drinks and smoke, and comfy rooms. Couldn't ask for much more! Short walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores.

Good place for value, close to the pier

-comfortable common areas, very cosy and welcoming -tv and game console -chill place by a lake -towels were provided -there was shower gel and shampoo provided -mini fridge, safe in the room and I think I saw a big fridge at the entrance of the hostel

-there was hair on the bathroom floor from the guests from before us -not the hostel's fault, but there were very few people (being low season and ~10 days after the full moon party)

good facilities, relaxing common area, not sociable in the daytime

aircon in dorms all day relaxing and clean common area by the pond nice looking dorms free body paint was great fun

stayed during full moon but felt it wasn’t sociable during the day. in the evening when everyone was drinking, I still felt a bit uncomfortable as a solo traveller. I felt people had got a bit cliquey, wouldn’t continue conversations I started. there were definitely some nice people, but the overall vibe I didn’t feel that welcome/comfortable. later into my stay after full moon I started visiting wet hostel nearby which had a super friendly welcoming atmosphere which I was looking for. I’m not really sure what drives this in different hostels. maybe this hostel attracts more friend groups, I’m not sure. if you are here just for full moon and like drinking I’m sure you will like it. if you want to socialise a bit more and there is no one around I recommend visiting wet hostel to meet people (although they might be hungover so give it some time)

amazing staff, great location, sociable

the owners are friendly and super accommodating. the hostel itself has a laid back fun vibe

the neon light stays on all night and it lights up the big dorm room so it never gets fully dark

Very good

Location is great - 5 minutes walk to all the action and just far enough to get a good night sleep. Common areas are the best part of the hostel - for working, resting or communicating you can find a suitable place inside.

Room consisted only of bed - a really huge and comfortable one, but there was no place for me to put my luggage or clothes. Also a towel wasn't provided, so I used my own and ended up forgetting it in the room at checkout. But the staff helped me and I managed to get my towel back.

Really good hostel, stayed in a 4 bed dorm was clean and comfy. Really liked the social space with the bean bags overlooking the water. Location is great for full moon

Superb

Really social hostel with a great atmosphere for the jungle + full moon parties! Location was only a few mins walk from Haad Rin beach which was very handy. Really liked all the different places to sit in the common areas (especially the beanbags!).

The 8 bed dorm was a bit of a squeeze with all our bags and no storage lockers for them.

Love the large communal area with small nooks and hideaways for a bit of privacy. The blankets were nice and warm for some cold nights. Staff was friendly always willing to help.

Loud music until late even on quiet nights; pretty standard for social hostels. Only 2 toilets for a lot of bunkbeds. Staff worked hard to keep them clean but backpackers can be messy and smelly 🥲. Only thing I can really recommend is to convert one of the showers into another toilet.

Great value for money

I had a very nice stay at the Hideout hostel. The hostel has a nice atmosphere, located next to a lake. It is also close to the beach, but away from the noise. The room was nice and there was plenty of space to put my backpack. I also liked that the room had his own bathroom. It was also very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

I recommend it!

Awesome staff and good vibes :)! I was here outside of the Full Moon dates and I still met plenty of backpackers. The hostel is chill during the day & social at night. There’s plenty of common space to read, chat, etc. There’s free water and a table for paint! ;) I left with a handful of new memories and friends xx Thank you!!

Perfect hostel!! Awesome hosts!

Very social and clean! The place is run by a gorgeous family who are so helpful and kind! great location only 2 min walk from the beach! Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more, great showers, very clean beds and towels, lots of different hangout spaces, hostel bar!

Exceptional

Very clean property, rooms, public area and dthe showers. The owner was very helpful and always there. The beds have real matrasses and real blankets. I wanted to stay only one night, but at the end extended my stay for 4 nights.
